Their 10 year warranty has been adhered to & I've had them come out a few times since then to make sure we continue to be rodent free. I found a new hole in the ground outside the house recently. The company sent Samuel on 6/24)26, who inspected the area around the house, filling in 4 areas w/a cement mixture & checking traps under the house & in the attic. They showed up late, charged nearly 50% more than other companies I contacted, and used what felt like slimy sales tactics throughout the process. Daniel was great to work with--professional, meticulous, and friendly. He delivered a well-thought-out proposal tailored to our specific project requirements, negotiated with us on cost and solutions, and provided an extensive gallery of pre-work photos. Throughout the project, his communication was exceptional. He kept in touch with us constantly via text and phone and even stopped by in person halfway through to ensure everything was progressing as planned. His commitment to customer satisfaction deserves an adamant 5/5. Ja'Andre's crew was as impressive. They handled our house with care and respect, putting in effort to keep messes to a minimum and cleaning up afterwards. Work was completed in a timely fashion and with perfect professionalism. Work photos kept us updated and everyone was responsive to all our questions. The collaboration earns a 5/5 well-deserved as well. Administratively, Nicole was warm and went out of her way to be accommodating. There are some limitations to the in-house office procedures, though. On a project this large, we would have appreciated more detailed wrap-up--i.e., a clear before-and-after report listing the work accomplished, further results, and conclusions. This is standard procedure in handling other service providers of a comparable nature and helps to provide peace of mind to the client. Obtaining final photographs was harder than anticipated, and the lack of proactive office communication regarding finished work felt like a missed opportunity to show a job well done. I would recommend reviewing internal processes and customer follow-up procedures to enhance the overall client experience. We do have a 10-year warranty and hope to hear from you in the future. We would like the warranty process to be as relaxed and friendly as the on-site work has been. There is a slight lingering odor in the crawl space, which we have been assured is included in case it doesn't dissipate. All in all, we're satisfied with the outcome and thank Attic Projects for their assistance on this project. Zero stars! Please stay far away from Attic Projects! I would implore anyone who has had work done by them to have their work inspected by an outside inspector immediately. They have left our project worse than when we started and we have spent thousands of dollars. There are still rodents in our crawl, they told us otherwise. They said that our ducts were replaced they were not. they left our water pipes exposed and the ductwork open. We have been exposed to fiberglass insulation as well as the rodent droppings because of this. read more

The biggest and most important part is he runs his company with care and ethics. Doesn't try to oversell unnecessary work. That is why I will stay with this company. We had a very good experience with Attic Projects, and I especially recommend them for their generous warranty. We initially had new insulation put into our attic in 2023, and that experience went really well. Two years later we noticed a problem with the venting in our bathroom, and Attic Projects was very prompt and responsive. They made multiple visits to our home and fixed the issue with the bathroom venting. We paid nothing extra, everything was covered by the warranty. Highly recommend. read more

Update- when they came to fix the issues from the last crew here, we noticed that the work wasn't even complete on the other side of my house. If you hire this company- plan for hours of oversight to make sure work is completed. They needed another 6 hours to fix and complete the work. I had several companies come out to give me quotes on insulation removal, attic clean up from rats, rat proofing and then reinstalling fresh insulation. The estimator was really kind and seemed attentive to our needs. Although the quote was higher than other places, I felt as if they were more reliable and trustworthy. On the day of the attic clean out, the crew came and removed the insulation. We had the job done in two separate parts to do electrical work while nothing was in the attic. After the crew left, I climbed up a ladder and saw dirty insulation left in the rafters. I called the company, was told there was no record of insulation left, I assured them it was true, and after they did some investigative work, they learned a longer vacuum tool was left behind so the clean out was not completed. A few weeks later they came back to finish the job. I inquired about the remaining insulation being left behind and asked where the vacuum was to remove the remaining insulation. They said the only tool they needed was a rake and that was what had been forgotten in the original clean out. They climbed up in the attic to take out the remaining insulation and realized they needed a vacuum. The workers (who are very kind) waited for about an hour for another truck to be dispatched with the vacuum in it. I was told that my sales rep would see if I could be discounted for the inconvenience and poor communication and heard nothing. I called the company and talked to Zach about my experience and dissatisfaction with the current issue, I also found out that the bleaching was not done so have to wait outside while the bleach smell dissipates, Zach was uninterested in my experience, told me that the job would be done to expectations, I told him that it already had not been completed to expectations and asked for money off as My sales person had offered and stated he would see if they could offer any discount. As the crew was getting ready to go I asked if they had inspected and rat proofed the other side of the house. They had not. I am the one making sure things are done, am not sure what to even look for to make sure it's all rat proofed to make sure it's all complete. During the initial bidding process, Josh did a great job evaluating what my home needed and explained it to me very clearly. Tino, Leo, Troy and Colin were all very professional onsite and appear to have executed at a high quality! I feel compelled to leave off one star due to some lack of clarity around the billing. Upon signing the contract, my understanding is the entirety of my roofline would be rodent proofed. However, when it came time to execute it was determined we really only needed to secure roughly half the roofline. I was a bit surprised there wasn't any adjustment to the initial bid to reflect what seemed like half the amount of labor required, but I also now understand there's a lot more that goes into calculating that cost (e.g. the warranty being a big one). It just wasn't clear to me at the onset. Overall, I def recommend working with Attic Projects! Just be aware that your contract likely reflects flat fees that won't be adjusted based on final scope of the project. read more

We have had the most expensive and awful experience with this company for the last six months. If U can not physically go check their work you are more than likely getting ripped off and maybe lessening the value of your home. I called this company last winter when a rodent died under my manufactured home. They had nice brochures (I later discovered all the photos where stock photos meaning not even of jobs they did) and a smooth sales person. They bid double what the other bids did but we wanted this removal and clean up and replace done right so we went with them. They came out and tore everything out but didn't clean up rodent feces or even snail shells left behind. I had to crawl under there take pictures and contact the office. They did vacuumed but didn't clean up some still. Since I have a fractured fusion in my neck and am a senior I didn't check their work again after they claimed to replace everything. Again when I felt up to it I went under because parts of the house were very cold and I could still smell the smell of a dead rodent. It took getting the sales man to come out and remove it - the work crews said they could find it. I had to keep calling them out to finish areas under the home several times and with my age and my neck could always check their work. I went under again this summer with two other companies and their representatives from other companies because Attic Protects would just argue and not stand behind their work. There are places with no insulation at all still and I have pictures. There are places with no vapor guard (that I paid extra for) the mud that was on the insulation they replaced because they hung wet muddy insulation has dried and the dirt has fallen all over the place. I have called and I have sent pictures and all they do is point to a email my dad, (who paid for the work but has not seen the work or even been over) wrote thanking them for coming out and finishing the work. That was written after they claimed to fix everything and I physically couldn't check their work as my neck fusion fractured. I healed up and went under there this summer after calling them out again. Their rep wasn't honest and just tacked up some screen. There is no evidence of new rodent activity but there are still large areas with out insulation. There are areas with out vapor barrier and there are areas with excessive rodent urine dried that still smells. I have called and I get yelled at and told that since my dad wrote a thank U email and we paid they are done. They do not stand behind their work and we are hiring another company to fix and finish the job not only for the smell but also because it is cold and not up to code. I worry for seniors and others that don't think to check their work. $16,000.00 for six months of unprofessional, rude, shoddy workmanship. If U can't check their work don't hire them. It's a nightmare and a huge waste of money. read more

Phill was leagues above other company estimators, he took just as much time reviewing the spaces as competitors- but there was an enormous difference between his authentic overview and explanation vs "their" sale pitches. The work crews were great, extremely careful and constantly working. Tino, Anthony, Jesus, Aiden, and Chris were fantastic working all the various tasks we had scheduled, always checking in with us, sharing callouts, and making sure we understood the process. Between removal, mold remediation, vent installations, and new insulation- there was quite a bit to do, but they made the process feel easy. I'll start with they put a hole in my ceiling.. to be continued Their sales rep came up and explained everything to me that should be done and could be done. Honestly one of the better in home sales professionals I have ever talked with. I didn't have a question he couldn't not only answer but then also explain good, better, best option for everything. Yes they fixed the hole, yes it took time, but it's not like they set out to damage anything. The crew did a great job sealing the attic from anything that could get it and making the upstairs in our 1939s house more climate controlled. They were a friendly bunch too. They were just ok. Their quality is not that great. We had to call and complain after they did the work. Their so called contractors are young and inexperienced. Made another appt but then I called and had to reschedule. They didn't show up for the rescheduled appt and after talking to them they didn't even sound like they had the appt in their calendar. We made another appt and they came out and fixed the job but honestly their quality is not the greatest. They blocked the entry points for wildlife in our attic with grate work but if you want it to look nice it would be better to get a professional contractor. read more

The inspection went fine, the guy was prompt and polite. Be sure to shop around when getting a bid because Attic Projects was nearly two times as expensive as our next highest bid. I know getting multiple bids can be time consuming and annoying but it saved us many thousands of dollars. Do not use Attic Projects. They broke our window screen, took our ladder, showed up on the wrong days, and we came home to what they told us was a "finished" job with a footprint where someone had clearly fallen 1/2 way through our ceiling and mess everywhere including screws my kids stepped on. And then they found out from their crew the next day that they hadn't actually finished the job and had to come back again. We would not have known about most of the damage and taken ladder if I didn't have cameras recording in the house and had to show them the recordings to prove the damage etc. was their fault. They attempted and failed repeatedly to repair the ceiling and other places they had caused damage to the walls and argued that the job was done "good enough" even though their own pictures showed poor coverage of the new insulation and I could clearly see daylight through a hole in my roof they claimed to have fully sealed when asked to check out their finally "finished" work. Eventually I told them to just get out and had to pay someone else to actually fix the ceiling and walls. I have no confidence that any of the rest of their work in my attic was done well at all. read more

My wife and I moved into our house a few years ago, it was built in 1953 with really great bones and had been remodeled by the former owner. We had the attic inspected when we were purchase the house and the inspector saw fresh blown in insulation and said the attic was in great shape. Our attic is about 6' at peak and roughly 1000 square feet. It's huge but never thought much about it. After a couple years, I went up to the attic to do some electrical work on one of our ceiling lights and notices a ton of rodent droppings all over the blown in insulation. I dug down a bit and found that there was very very old batting underneath, and below that like an inch of sawdust "insulation". It was littered with rodent droppings everywhere. In other words, our attic was disgusting. I had the idea to rip out all the old insulation, putting new modern insulation in, and putting some plywood down for storage in the attic, as well as install a pull down ladder system for easy access. I knew I didn't want to do this all myself. I called Attic Projects and Alac come over and did a very thorough inspection. He was up in the attic for about 45 minutes and came down and reported to me the state of the attic and the recommended repairs. He said there also was a ton of gray mold up there and that our attic was lacking proper ventilation. He also found two holes in our attic where the rodents were getting in and out. I got the estimate, which it was in line with the amount of work we discovered needed to be done, though a little more than what we had anticipated. I worked with Alac a bit on reducing the price to more in our budget (we shaved some storage space, moved our project to weekdays for a discount, and a few other small discounts he found) and signed the agreement online a couple days later. The work crews showed up within a week, and were extremely courteous. They taped up the entire entrance to the house in a "tunnel" to the attic entrance. They were COVID safe, wore masks, and answered our stupid questions when we were curious about the process. They brought in a very long hose and started pulling out the blown in stuff in essentially a reverse process for how they blow it in. It literally took them two days to remove all the old stuff (batting, blown-in, sawdust) of three guys working from 8am to 4pm. The truck they brought was FULL of old insulation, like stuffed to the gills! They even hauled out old construction materials from when the house was built that was left up there, AND there was a 1950's era antennae that was left up there they hauled away too. Before they left for the day they used chemicals to treat the mold + 141 other organisms, bacteria, mold, etc. It stunk up the house a bit, but wasn't too bad. We just kept the doors and windows open and it cleared out pretty quick. They also put in wire mesh around all the holes they found that rodents were getting in, and spray foamed over those reinforced holes. They also spray foamed any crack they could find, including around ceiling light holes, electrical junction boxes, and were super thorough. I went up after the second day and looked at a CLEAN attic for the first time. It was glorious! The third day was putting in the new R-49 insulation. They used R-19 insulation for under the plywood storage area they build, which we put in 500 square feet of, but the modern stuff will be way more cost effective for insulation and we are thrilled this is in! Funny thing after the second night when the attic was empty of insulation, our house cooled down a LOT that night... funny thing, insulation does do it's job, and you will notice it if it's not there! Since the R-49 is in, the house has been maintaining its temperature way better! The guys wrapped up at 5pm on the third day, cleaned the areas they were working in and it was like they never were here! No dust, no footprints, clean as could be. Nothing different, except the stellar new attic we have now, 500 square feet of storage space, no rodents! Did I mention they also gave us a 10 year guarantee against rodents and will come out and fix any damage if they do get in? Again, epic. Last comment, the staff was ALWAYS friendly to work with. They've hired a good grew of people. If anything, I felt terrible cause these guys were doing some really nasty work in a hot basement over long days. And they still kept a smile on their face! I can't say I'd ever be able to do what they do without cursing the entire time :) Props to team leads Sean and Devon! Great work Attic Projects! I hope people read this and give you business, cause we are sure glad we did. Again thank you! PS: There were some minor cracks in the ceiling due to a foot slipping off a joist with three guys up there for three solid long days, but that was to be expected. I want to say that Attic Projects and the crew that worked on my attic and crawl space were the best, from the moment they walked into my home to the end of the project and left they were professionals through the whole process. With the plastic barrier to keep mess to a minimum and the respect the guys used while moving through my house was greatly appreciated. They made sure that our personal belongings were protected and even though they did damage some clothing with the mold cleaning solution, they sent out the head guy immediately to assess the situation and reduced my overall cost on the spot for the full price of the damages. We had an unsavory smell coming from our crawlspace. I had trapped a few rats here and there but the problem never seemed to go away. We then found that a possum had taken up residence in our insulation. DISGUSTING! On the plus side I think the possum was eating the rats (which is also gross). Attic Projects went into the possum infested crawl space and made some discoveries, provided pictures and an estimate. A few days later the team showed up to clean and disinfect the area, remove all old materials and provide all new insulation. They blocked off any access points with wire screen and provided a 10 year warranty. Much better than the rodent proofing company we'd hired in the past that wanted to set traps and charge us monthly to maintain them AFTER they'd cleaned the entire area. Attic Projects cost a bit more than the other guys but the peace of mind that came with the 10 year (transferable) warranty was worth it. read more
