    Top Sirloin Steak and Eggs
    Scott K.

Rating: three stars We went here for breakfast before going to Ren Faire. For a Sunday morning, it was surprisingly slow, and we were seated immediately. The staff was very friendly. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant has an eclectic ambiance with a smattering of knick-knacks from various periods.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The house itself is from 1905, and the restaurant has been operating since 1975.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The food itself was good. We all liked the potato cakes. I would recommend going here if you are in the area.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]What a cute and unique restaurant![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They brought us some complimentary scones with raspberry jelly which was so good. The chicken chicken fried steak was well cooked and the gravy was very good. Of course we had to get what they are most famous for, the pie. Its a little pricey at $8.99 a slice, but its very good and worth it every once in awhile.

Went here with a group. The menu is very large. The service was also very good. The food was ok, I had the sockeye salmon with a side cesar and baked potato. The cesar was the star of the meal. It was dressed perfectly and had nice portions of shaved parmesan on the salad. The baked potato was cooked well, simple with the right amount of toppings on the side. I had neptune style (crab and shrimp hollandaise). The flavor was ok. The veggies were steamed and they were fine as well. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Overall great service and cute restaurant, the flavor could have used some more seasoning on the entrees.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

[[HIGHLIGHT]]a cute little antique restaurant with the exterior of a mini barn ! on the inside you'll find many retro items of typewriters & old antiques, making the theme & vibe of the restaraunt feel old chic in the best way possible.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]upon entering you can see the bar they have that's loaded with their coffee flavoring pumps, & a huge case lined with their fresh pies.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]there's seating inside & on the patio, & plenty of space so it doesn't feel overly cramped - it's quiet spacious for what seems like such a tiny place.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] our server was very kind to us, constantly coming by to make sure if we needed anything & if we were enjoying our food. with your meal, you get fresh scones with fresh raspberry jam & salted butter packets. the scones were amazing - i had without butter & jam - they didn't taste of yeast or super dry ! the jam was alright, a bit on the bitter side, but it was lovely fresh jam that i know others would love. i ordered the eggs benedict with ham, with a side of the cabbage potatoes & a hot chocolate. my partner ordered their cheeseburger with a side of fries. the hot chocolate was delicious ! the whipped cream was sweet & fluffy, & mixed well with the sweet yet savory , milky hot chocolate: finally somewhere where it didn't taste like it was out of a packet ! the eggs benedict was very good, the eggs were perfectly poached, the sauce was a bit light, & the biscuit was a bit over toasted, but even with that it was easily overlooked because it was delectable. the potatoes as well were fresh tasting & didn't taste of being overly salted nor gouged in oil. my partner said both the fries & the burger was amazing, & it was one of the freshest cut of meat he has ever had. i recommend coming here if you're got any good spot for breakfast, lunch, or dinner ! or if you're a pie person, to stop in for some fresh homemade pie :)

Great cabbage patch soup and hash browns for breakfast. And great service. Ordered the corned beef hash and cup of cabbage patch soup.

Don't bother with either of these menu items.

In a word, "no". First off, our server Tiffany was wonderful - attentive and professional. It's a cute enough place- an old farm house with several small rooms you can be seated in. We appreciated that there seemed to be some sensitivity regarding spacing between tables- they are adequately spaced apart. They were out of our first few picks for food, but I'm not sure it would have made a difference. I settled on the Cordon Bleu Bites, and the Truffle Fries. I don't think I've ever sent anything back to the kitchen, and usually cringe when seeing someone do this. But after trying one of the "cordon bleu bites" I did just that. Not sure what the exterior was, but it tasted like Campbell's soup inside. As for the "truffle fries" - the Cabbage Patch disappoints there, too. The fries were packaged frozen, not fresh hand-cut, and decorated with a little cheese. My friend said her chicken sandwich was ok. Consensus? There doesn't seem to be a chef in the kitchen; the food is not great. This lead us to wonder why it's so hard to find a decent meal in Snohomish - such a cute little town. The next time we visit, we'll eat elsewhere.

Chicken pot pie with puff pastry (petite size)- The filling was yummy, but there was too much puff pastry compared with the amount of fillin

After years of passing this restaurant by, I finally stopped in with a group of family members one Sunday afternoon. The Christmas decor inside was festive, and the set up of the restaurant was reminiscent of a family dining room. Each staff member we interacted with were polite and friendly. We were brought a plate of scones and jam to savor as we decided on our menu choices. These were delicious. I appreciated the variety of options on the menu. The kids menu was great! I ordered the chicken pot pie. The filling was delicious, but the puff pastry on top was a bit much (disproportionate to the amount of filling). The consensus after we ate was that the food was fine, but not anything out of the ordinary, and perhaps not worth the price. TL;DR: Pros- wonderful staff, yummy scones to start, homey feel, large variety of options on the menu Cons- (Not really a con but) The food was not quite worth the price, and not anything extra special.

yummy chicken and to die for potato cakes

It seems that one of the most challenging things in life is deciding where to eat. My friends and I ended up at The Cabbage Patch in the beautiful town of Snohomish. It's located in a house conversion restaurant right near the river. The food, service and ambiance are on point. I will tell you they have some beautiful bathrooms I have ever seen. I'm in love and can't wait to go back.

    Well lit at night

Food was fantastic. A little pricey though. Food is hand made not from a microwave. Service was good as well.

It felt like I was really inconveniencing them by going in buying ice cream. The owner was rude and standoffish for no reason. I came in genuinely wanting to support and buy some ice cream and left never wanting to come back. The same ice cream is available locally at other places with much better customer service.

The ambiance did not give me "ice cream parlor" with its red booths, carpet, and high windows. However, everything was fairly clean, including the bathroom, which was outdated, but functional. (There was an odd smell to the building, but perhaps it was due to the leaky ceiling being fixed.) The man working the counter was quiet, but smiled and was pleasant enough in the brief interaction we had. There is a decent selection of flavours, most of them fruity. Several selections of ice cream sizes are available, along with cake or sugar cones. Freshly made gluten free cones are also available. Along with ice cream, you can purchase a selection of candy, fudge, and milkshakes. The small children I went with thought it was an absolutely divine experience, however, so the ice cream cones here did the trick!

Wow, what a god send of a bakery! A complete GF bakery?!?! Yayyyy!!…read more I am so excited when I found out they make vegan, dairy free pastries. Double checked...Dairy free means no milk, cream, yogurt, butter etc. so I look for labels that says DV, V. Everything is automatically certified gluten free and there is no worry on cross contamination. They don't use run of the mill commercial grade high gluten flour the website tells all. There's also paleo, keto options. As someone who hasn't been eating butter based pastries due to doctor's orders, this bakery is like finding gold. Our favorite after 2 visits are their vegan dairy free sea salt chocolate chunk cookie, their classic GF big chocolate chip cookie, vegan dairy free banana macadamia nut muffin, and my absolute favorite is their dairy free vegan sweet strawberry scone (with rhubarb, flax and coconut). I typically find scones to be bland and dry. Not these! I enjoyed these so much they were so moist and delicious but what I love most is the chewy bits on the edge. My hubby is a chocolate fiend but he usually get sluggish and sick to his stomach after inhaling a large chocolate pastry from other bakery. He ate their large size classic chocolate chip cookie and it didn't bother him. Tasted amazing too! Their sourdough is one of a kind. It's piping hot and available on a daily basis while supplies last. Nobody offers gluten free artisan sourdough fresh out of the oven on a walk in basis. It stayed hot for hours after I brought it home because it was such a dense dough. When I think about how much more time and work went into these special loaves (not mass produced) and loaded with nutrition, the $23.50 is worth it! The sourdough is super moist if you don't toast it there's almost a slight tacky feel to it. Once toasted, it is the best artisan toast eating experience. This am, I enjoyed an open faced peanut butter and blackberry jam toast. Appreciate also they provide on the package specific care instructions for the best experience. For the price, I made sure we wash our hands and did all the suggested prep needed. My only critique would be transparency on pricing in store and on website. It was mildly shocking when the register total was in the $80 range after 2 sourdough loaves and 6 pastries before tip. After eating it, we realized it's actually worth every penny. Good at a different level. Maybe if they have a daily special would be nice to bring in more people? Well, we will come back regardless! Love this new bakery find!!

I liked this place. It would be on my list of places to walk into when I am in the area. A variety…read moreof baked goods, drinks, offerings. Upon entering, i immediately noticed baked goods display and the drink menu. The case was filled with a bunch of interesting types of baked goods. On top of the rose cardamom latte, brioche tart and cardamom twist. We also got a savory scone and another item that escapes me. I enjoyed the savory scone the most. It had chives and bacon amongst other things. Great texture and not too dry. The brioche tart was a meal all on its own. Heavy and will put you to sleep. The cheese I think that was in there was gruyere but I could be wrong. I enjoyed it but definitely will splooge out if you down eat it on a plate with utensils. Eventually it does get monotonous for me. Recommend sharing it. Cardamom twist was the least favorite item. I'm not sure what it was but there was an essence of something in the background that threw the flavor off for me. I can't seem to describe it. The twist was slightly doughy/stodgy for me. Maybe part of an off batch. I typically do like cardamom centered things. This wasn't my favorite is all I can say. One suggestion I would hope gets implemented is cost of goods displayed for each item. I can say I was surprised at the total during check out. I do go to a lot of bakeries, cafes and artisanal shops. I always felt more at ease knowing what I was getting into from a financial standpoint. Tip is to look at their discounted items. They are a steal. They also have a rewards program that gets you a drink with every new sign up paired with a purchase I wish I had known prior to purchase as I was only able to spot signage at the register.
