Elliot was out here within a couple of days, did a thorough inspection, explained everything, and gave us a very, very fair quote on a package that included an attic fan, removal of existing insulation, sanitization, sealing of all gaps, air duct rerouting, and duct cleaning. The crew came out the next morning and you couldn't have asked for anyone more considerate and helpful. They even turned the duct vacuum machine back on so I could take a video for my family (it was super-cool--seriously). They did a TON of work and left the place as clean as when they walked in. I got a follow-up call from Elliot about an hour later, and I feel absolutely comfortable that they will take care of any issues if we discover any after the fact. 10/10 would recommend all day long.

Just a warning, this review is going to be pretty long. But if you're thinking about reinsulating…read moreyour home, that's a pretty big task, so I'll add as much detail as I can to help you! Background: The credit for green energy was ending in 2025, and I had always wanted to reinsulate my home because it was so cold in winter and super hot in summer. I went through many different companies and seeing how people felt about them, and I saw a lot of horror stories. I called up a few companies and found out that insulation is kind of like roofing, where a sales person and a tech comes, where the tech looks around and the sales person tries to scare you into using their company right then. They might say something like "your attic is super hot" (that's normal, well, up to a point), or "we'll give you a special deal if you say yes right now". Just kind of shady stuff overall. One big thing that people mention is that while insulation is good, you need to airseal your attic as well - this was another thing I was looking to get done. Initial Meeting: So I was kind of expecting that when I called Attic Professional. Fortunately, that was not the case at all! From other reviews you might have figured that the owner, Bryan, is incredibly respectful and treats customers well. I got to experience that as well. One thing I was surprised at is he had inside shoes (the kind you see in Japan) and put them on and off when walking around the house. He went up into my attic and really dug around to look for issues like pests or mold (besides the poor insulation layers). We went around the home together to look for clogged vents. He didn't try to sell me on anything - I remember reading one review that said he didn't try to sell them things they didn't need, and that was my experience too. He said they could put more insulation in on my existing one, or take out the old one and put new one in; but neither would have a substantial difference. I went ahead and asked him to remove the old insulation and put new insulation in just for cleanliness. I even later changed my mind and asked for a custom insulation scheme - some fiberglass batting and mostly blown-in, and he had no problem accommodating that. Oh, and they would include airsealing gaps in the attic with fire resistant foam! Reinsulation: A few weeks later, he and his team brought his truck up to my house. They covered many surfaces with plastic drop cloth to prevent insulation from flying around - they taped doorways so I could come through, and they taped cardboard to corners in the house so their insulation blower tube wouldn't cause damage. They put canvas drop cloths on the floors to protect them. There was a bit of fiberglass and debris around after, but it was very, very minor. I understand how difficult it is to be flawless with cleanup, but these guys were very good. The work was smooth and quick - only a few hours. I didn't have to add much input and the team was in and out. Bryan left for another site for an hour or so, but everyone was just as respectful as Bryan, and they told me he was a very good person to work for. Always nice to see that the employees have a good opinion of the company as well. One thing that I thought was interesting is after they removed all the previous insulation, they let me look at the attic and see how they stapled their measuring tapes. Apparently, some insulation companies will scam their customers and fold up their measuring tapes so it shows more insulation than what's actually in there. I was able to verify myself that all the measuring tapes were correct. Bryan and I did a final check on the attic together and I was very happy. Above and beyond: A month or so later, I was very curious about the insulation and really wanted to optimize the house, so I got one of those FLIR guns (temperature sensor guns) to see if the attic was perfectly insulated. As expected there were a few spots that had a bit of uneven insulation (after all, nobody's perfect), but for the most part everything was good. I sent Bryan a text about these spots, and he immediately he and his crew to come add some more insulation and pack it in. Now everything on the camera looks great. I think it's pretty rare to find such attention to quality, and I was very impressed. Results: In the San Diego weather by home would average 63 degrees when outside it was around 48. Now, the house never drops below 68, and it averages around 72 year round. When it's 85 degrees outside, it might be 76-78 inside. I've seen the temperature inside crack 80 maybe twice in the last year, and never seen it below 65. This is with no heater, no AC running EVER. So TLDR: I would completely recommend using Attic Professional for your insulation. Take a look at their price, but I find their quality far outshines anything I've seen, and I think I got a steal of a deal (with the now-removed credit sadly).

We got a couple other quotes from other guys that were pushy with options and we knew they were giving us additional services even though it was obvious that there was no rodent activity in the attic. This summer we noticed that every time the A/C came on, people sneezed. Finally we figured out that…read morethere was dust in the ducts (duh!), and looked around for a highly-rated duct cleaning service. When I contacted them for an appointment, I discovered that it is the same company as Chim Chiminey Sweep, who cleaned our chimney last year and did a great job. So we figured we couldn't go wrong by hiring them to clean our ducts and vents. They came today and did the cleaning. They arrived exactly when they said they would. They were utterly professional. I can't easily look inside the ducts to see how clean they are, but I watched them work and I'm sure it all got very clean. They brought a big red machine labeled "Rotobrush"; it looked like a combination vacuum cleaner and spinning brush. The brush loosened the dirt and the machine sucked it all in, so that none of it came out into the air or the room. They worked efficiently and finished when they predicted that they would. They reported that one of our 16 ducts was damaged and suggested that we call a heating/cooling company to have it repaired. The final invoice was for exactly the estimated amount. I couldn't be happier. I asked them how often we should do this cleaning, and they said "about every 5 years". We have lived in this house for 3 years, but I suspect that the ducts hadn't been cleaned for 20 years. No more sneezing here.

I rarely write reviews, but with the level of service I received from Attica Green Solution-a company based in Escondido, CA, I felt compelled to share my recent experience with the company. We had a roof leak during some recent rains which caused our insulation to need to be replaced in areas of the attic. After reaching out to Attica, sales rep Mike H came out and gave us an estimate and explained in detail the process of clean-up and replacement for us. It was a tricky job as there were multiple unusual factors that affected our particular job. I was so impressed with Mike's positivity, level of integrity, straightforwardness and tenacity in trying to help interface for us with the owner & convey our needs and timeline. I especially appreciated how Mike was very upfront with us in his recommendations and didn't try to upsell at all. He did a great job securing a very timely workdate and after speaking with Loui the owner, they offered a bid for us that we felt comfortable with. The work itself was done to a very high level by the team of techs that came out. Eddie as project manager was very knowledgeable and gave great attention to detail with all aspects of the job; starting with his team's arrival. They set up plastic barriers to seal off the work area and protected the carpet with paper barriers as well. They removed the soiled insulation, bagged it up in the attic, and afterward took it away to dispose of it. Before laying down new insulation, they vacuumed, sanitized and sealed all areas of the job in the attic, and checked the perimeter of the house for possible rodent entry to seal off as well. The team performed the work quickly and adeptly under Eddie's direction. Shout-out to Guy and his work partner for their ability to adroitly enter & work in tight spaces with low head-clearance. The team was professional, courteous, and worked quickly and efficiently. They took pictures of the work throughout and sought my approval upon completion; after which they cleaned up their work site leaving it spotless. It is very refreshing to have work done by professionals. I especially liked how the company does all the work in-house and doesn't hire out subcontractors to come out. Each member of the team came across as not only polite, but competent. I can highly recommend Attica Green Solution for any attic insulation projects needed. Attica Green Solution just replaced all of our 1975 inefficient air-ducts, cleaned the years of RAT infestation away, sealed cracks/ installed metal mesh to prevent future rodents from reentering our attic, AND replaced all of our insulation! We could not be happier with the professional service Attica provided. Louie and his team worked on our attic on the hottest day of the year - 105 degrees outside, attic was approximately 130+ degrees. In that heat, they continued to work, taking breaks to stay hydrated of course. We planned for a 2 day job as we had some electrical work we wanted to do prior to insulation re-install, which worked out because it was so hot that day the crew could split up some of the work to day 2. I have to say, before leaving the crew cleaned up just as it was before they arrived. Day 2 went just as smoothly as Day1. Everything was professionally taped off with plastic to control the debris. Upon completion, we now have new ducts, new insulation and an impeccably clean attic! If you are in need of attic clean up, new air-ducts or repair, rodent prevention, etc, call Attica and talk to Louie. Their quote came in reasonably priced, and they do excellent work. Just want to add, the first vendor that came for an inspection of our air-ducts informed us we had "asbestos" in our air-ducts, which prevented them from honoring their coupon to clean our air-ducts. Of course if you have asbestos in your air-ducts, that requires additional removal as well as disposal fees. It turned out, we did NOT have asbestos in our air-ducts (confirmed by 2 vendors), but our air-ducts did need to be replaced just due to age. So do your research, and get multiple vendors to quote you. I am just thankful, we contacted Attica and they were able to do the attic clean up, air-ducts and insulation installation, all with one vendor. Super happy customer. read more

Boy did we have a rat issue in our attic!! House was tented and everything died, but then came the smell from the summer heat. I went up there to take a look and oh my gosh, complete infestation, I grabbed 9 dead rats easy picking. Insulation was disgusting with rat droppings, urine, nesting, etc. Ben came out to inspect and give us a quote, he's down to earth and honest. This company goes above and beyond, they are not the bottom of the market and hope all works out on the cheap. They do it right and with the right equipment, but that does cost. Our situation was so bad that we had 12 guys come out, banged it out all in one day (which is huge). Mostly all young guys that bust their butt, it's really hard work!! They removed all insulation in both attics through tunnels they created to keep anything from getting into the house or carpet. Scrapped the drywall to get all the feces off. Sprayed bleach solution to kill anything and address smell. Blew in new insulation, house is so much cooler (it's been about 3 weeks since they came out). Then replaced the air ducts that were 30 years old. They didn't up sell us on the air ducts, the air ducts were falling apart and were on the last layer, it was easy to see that we needed air ducts. Lastly, they sealed off all access points with mesh and foam to ensure how ever the rats were coming in, they would not come in anymore. Then they provide you with a rodent proof guarantee for so long that we will not have a problem or they will come back out. They are not the cheapest, but my opinion is they are the best by far. A pest control company can't do work like this, you need someone that does attics and that is all they do. Larry, Daniel & Ray arrived at my home exactly on time, ready to go right to work. They cleared out my filthy nearly 100 year old attic with the care of preservationists at the Getty. Museum. From 9 am - 3 pm, they hustled my job as though their lives depended on it. I was home during their work. They filled many huge garbage bags with several layers of old, rotten insulation. they scrubbed the attic antiseptically clean. They sanitized everything and sealed up my attic tight so no more predators could enter. Tgey also took great care with a 50 year old framed window and brought it down from the attic for us. They also took the time to carry down many ceramic tiles for us. Even more above and beyond? They removed stacks of old lumber that had been rotting up in the attic for years and took it away with them to dispose of. all of this in the pouring rain and cold weather. you could hear them laughing and talking with each other as they worked so hard. They worked as a well oiled team. They were so nice, so professional and so dedicated to doing the very best job. I'm a rather particular person. I didn't really want people tromping around in my attic, but the nasty conditions forced it. To my surprise, I met these 3 lovely hard working men. On top of everything else? Usually when I wake up in the morning, my house is bitterly cold. This morning? It was almost cozy, the temperature was in the 70s, not the usual 50s, and I felt comfortable in my own home for the first time in years during the cold season. After YEARS of sky-high summer AC bills, I realized that part of the issue was the lack of insulation in my condo (about 1" high - and half of that was dust!). After getting a few quotes, I met with Loui who did a thorough inspection of my attic and provided a very reasonable estimate for insulation replacement. His quote included a lot of extras that other providers didn't offer. I booked with him that day. Scheduling was very easy - I ended up having to reschedule due to work and he was very accommodating. On the day of, I got a courtesy call from Carlos the on-site foreman when they were on their way. Once he and his crew arrived, they quickly got to work sealing off the work area to keep down the dust. It looked a bit like we were in quarantine - but it definitely kept the dust/insulation mess from the rest of the house! The rest of the day went perfectly. Carlos checked in frequently with pictures and updates of the work progress. I was able to poke my head up in the attic a few times to see what was happening too. Because I had a work event that night, Loui had scheduled an extra worker to make sure they could finish in time. In fact, they wrapped up about an hour early putting everything back together, cleaning up, and generally making it look like they'd never been there! Loui A, the manager, checked our attic and gave us a great quote right away. He said no one would be able to beat his price and he was right. This company is the King Of Attic Restoration, Rodent Proofing your home and Insulation!! After researching options, I decided to contract Attica, to clean up our filthy rodent ridden attic, rodent proof our home and insulate our attic. Louie (owner) was very thorough in discussing all the details and solidifying a comprehensive contract with warranty. Carlos ( project supervisor) and the cohesive, respectful crew arrived promptly and got to work. I was kept apprised throughout each phase. It was apparent, they wanted to ensure I was happy with the job. Louie also came on site to inspect the job and ensure every detail was executed. He even included installing an attic walkway, suspended several A/C ducts and electric wires that were left lying on the attic floor and installed a UV light near the furnace to kill bacteria going into the air unit. Some air ducts had been scratched by rodents. They repaired these, too. I am very impressed with Attica and happy that I hired them for the job. Our home is finally rodent free and well insulated! We had been suffering air quality issues caused by a poor attic job by the previous owner. Loui's team did a fantastic job today although our attic is extremely tight due to a low and flat roof. Loui later said it was one of the toughest projects he'd ever done. He called us 20 minutes before the arrival. All the team members were friendly and moved quick. The project started at 8 am and finished at around 4 pm. It was quite an operation but they even cleaned up the floor before leaving. Originally coming from Japan, we have been using a handy guy introduced by our local friend's friend but he has been missing many appointments without notifying us and would leave garbage behind. Hearing similar stories from our friends, we started to accept it as a standard American workmanship. So Loui's team's exceptional professionalism was a pleasant surprise to us. We could tell that everybody on the team was very well trained and had pride in their job. For example, Loui accidentally made a mistake in the invoice and left our home but we received an apology phone call five minutes later from another member of the company before we caught the error by ourselves. I have an older home in Pt Loma that has a very high-pitched roof, a walk-in attic that I use for storage, and some random old modifications (venting going outdoor patio!!) that were making it NOT energy efficient and room for pesky rodents to keep coming back. Mike came out to evaluate the project and worked hard to build a solution that would suit the uniqueness of my old house. The team that did our work for the day was very professional and hard-working, and they did a fantastic job with my attic cleanup, rodent sanitation, rodent proofing, and insulation throughout my attic. They willingly helped me seal off some venting from my heating system. Also, they found a hole in my roof--daylight coming through!! They were so helpful with showing me the impact of the hole, taking videos and photos, and going out of their way to help me put a temporary solution in place till I could get a roofer to fix it. Just got our attic re-insulated by these guys. Loui came out first and did an assessment of our current insulation. It was a mix of blown in and batts that had come together over the last couple decades. He also noted that parts of our attic were missing any insulation at all. He recommended a complete removal of all the debris and old insulation along with air sealing and sanitization and installation of all new insulation. He also helped walk me through getting my Benji loan started with Renovate America to help pay for the job. On the day of installation Carlos and his workers came to the house and quickly got started on the prep work. They made sure paper was put down to prevent damaging our floors and plastic was hung to protect the walls and limit the chance of any rogue insulation to go end up somewhere it shouldn't. They walked me through the whole process step by step and even invited me to come up to the attic as they finished the various sections to ensure it was cleaned to my satisfaction. When they were done the removed all trash and debris and even left my garage cleaner than it was when they got there. These guys got the whole job done in a day and it came out great. First time all winter the heater hasn't needed to come on. read more

I contacted Attica Green Solution initially to clean my attic after a rodent infestation. Usher and Loui came out and did the inspection and made suggestions as how to best solve my problem and clean up the mess. Based upon their recommendations I decided it would be best to clean and disinfect the attic, upgrade the insulation, and seal off the attic and seal around the house to hopefully deter any future problems. Usher thoroughly, professionally, and patiently walked me through the steps that would be followed to complete this task. He answered all the questions I had, which were many, as I was not familiar with this process. On the day of installation the crew arrived within the window of time promised. They were very professional, courteous and respectful of me and my property. They completed the job in the time we discussed and left the premises extremely clean, all under the watchful eye of Usher. Any questions or concerns I had during that time were promptly addressed. I only wish that all the companies that I have to deal with were as kind, efficient, and professional as Usher and his crew. As a homeowner you do your homework regarding any type of upgrades in your home. "As so", I contacted three other company's read all their reviews (Attic Perfect, 911 restoration of San Diego, Summit Clean Air) before going with ATTICA GREEN SOLUTION. All four provided the same type of work; -Blow in R30 -Blow in R38 -Batts R38 -Clean out all your old insulation, vacuum -Sanitize -Seal all drywall joints with foam, seal all openings to your home that's vulnerable to pests and all ceiling lights and fans, bathroom fart fans ext...Sealed. -New insulation All at different prices, and ATTICA GREEN SOLUTION was not the cheapest but did a little more for my buck. We had our house repiped and needed to find a company to remove all our old insulation (gross and had previously gotten wet) and to redo our air ducts. Our plan was to get many estimates before choosing. However, once Mike H. showed up to our house, our plans changed. Mike was very personable and professional. He worked with us on every detail and concern we had. He also spoke with the company's owner (who also was impressive) to get some details worked out for us. We didn't have to waste our time continuing to look, we found the best company to hire! Attica crew came out the next morning and did a FANTASTIC job!!! Mike even came by to check in with my husband to make sure he was happy and everything was going well. They worked hard, did a great job, and cleaned up like they were never here. Loui came out crawled thru my whole attic. Then He walked the whole exterior of the house. I wanted blown in insulation. My house was built in 1973 and the old 2" insulation was filthy and disgusting. Ever other company wanted to replace my duct work, But We don't have the money for that at this time. Loui and crew were very professional. They arrived on time and spent the whole day on my house. Now my house is only 1300 sq ft. They removed the old insulation. Vacuumed and sanitized the whole attic. There where about 30 construction sized trash bags full of old nasty insulation and dirt. They repaired my old ducts. Hoisted them up like the modern installs are done. Air sealed the whole attic. Put up mesh so no critters could get in. Then put in 14" of new modern lifetime warranty blown in fiberglass insulation. This new insulation does not look like the old stuff. It is white and it does not irritate the skin like the old fiberglass stuff. It looks like cellulose, But it's not. Full attic remediation for rodents. I had three companies assess the issue and submit estimates. Attica's estimate was by far the most comprehensive and clearly thought out and explained in detail by Mike H. It was a zero pressure sales visit that just summed up the problem and what needed to be done to do it right. The work was scheduled in less than a week and the team arrived on time and well prepared. They made sure that the house was properly protected and went right to removing all of the 72-year old insulation. They sanitized the entire attic and sealed all of the holes while repairing any damaged vents and ensuring they were sealed around the edges. They also repaired or replaced and sealed all of the vents in the crawl space while closing any entry points they found. Then they blew in new insulation and brought the house up to code. Overall, this five man team did a remarkable amount of work - all in one day - and cleaned up everything before leaving. Outstanding service at more than reasonable price. I called Attica last week and got an estimate on Friday. Today (Tuesday) was insulation day. Carlos called and notified me the crew would be coming in 45 minutes. They arrived on time, introduced themselves and started working. They removed all the old insulation by midday. Loui came by and installed the new attic fan. The attic was disinfected and new insulation was blown in. After the crew was done, Carlos and I walked around the house and made sure all lights, fans and the A/C were working. We also inspected the rodent proofing. I am very pleased with the work done by Attica. The price was very reasonable, the crew was friendly and Loui was very nice to work with. The A/C was off the entire day while they were working. I turned it on while we were doing our walkthrough. The temp inside the house was 88 degrees. Now 30 minutes later, the A/C is running and the temperature inside the house is already down to 80. On hot summer days like today the A/C can really use all the help it can get with lots of insulation. read more

We turned to MOST Construction of Carlsbad for full design and remodel construction services and they did not disappoint! From the early scoping, contracting and through the design process, Pernille and Morten were very professional and understanding of our vision. The contracting process was very detailed to ensure all work was accounted for, and Pernille provided numerous design drawings for us to work with. Being our first bathroom remodel, we were unaware of the amount of planning and subcontractors that would be involved. Along the way, MOST provided recommendations for vendors with the experience to match our vision. Construction began with a minor hiccup when a small leak occurred in the subfloor below the shower, but this was due to an existing hole in our drain pipe. This was no fault to MOST construction, but Morten promptly mitigated this and repaired the minor drywall damage. Talk about great service! From thereon everything was a breeze! Their workers were courteous and showed up on time each day and kept the workspace as clean as possible. Their tile tradesman Sal is a true artisan! Following the framing and hotmop of the shower pan, Sal built a traditional mortar bed tile job with custom niches and gorgeous bordering. He took his time to make sure the end product was flawless, and I appreciate that level of skill. Pernille coordinated with the Countertop Company of San Marcos to have the vanity and shower dam slab cut and installed. We handled the glasswork (shower door, backlit mirror) ourselves with Cast Glass Images of San Marcos. Everything went smoothly with drywall, electrical and finish plumbing installation. In the end, MOST Construction was a pleasure to work with. They are a team of true professionals and they will be my go-to general contractor for quotes on my next major remodeling job!
