Needed an oil change and inspection sticker. Was a little nervous because it's walk in's only for inspections. All turned out great. Arrived at 8:00 a.m. Thursday morning. Only 1 car ahead of me. Was able to use their WiFi and get some work done while my vehicle was being worked on. The whole process only took about an hour and fifteen minutes. The owner, Imad, was very polite and personable as was the mechanic. I would definately recommend this business to others and will go back when/if I need any work done on my vehicle. Update: Within an hour they did contact me via messaging offering to take $10 off the next oil change. Still makes it the most ridiculously priced oil change in the area. And no, there no excuse to price gouge to that extent. I know how much the oil costs. read more

Driving home from Christmas vacation, our car's tire pressure light came on when we were coming down I-95. We pulled off the highway and found the Shell. The friendly and helpful staff checked our tires and found no problems - the warning light must have been faulty. We were back on the road surprisingly quickly. The owner in the office was so rude. Had a check engine light that needed to be turned off after getting a new gas cap and was told mechanic was too busy and come back in four hours. Even though mechanic said he could do it now but need to ask boss. Went back four hours later and was told the unit is in plainville at the other station. Reminding him that he told me to come back and he will take care of it. So hanging around for ten minutes he finally said he will have son to take care of it. Son was very nice and in less than one minute reset light. Owner is rude and constantly yelling at his employees. Also large sign has gas prices 30 cents cheaper than actual pump prices. if you have an older car not in warranty, DO NOT bring your vehicle Here for repair. It will suddenly need repairs not previously needed before being put on the lift. DO NOT LET him take it into the shop. Left my car with him over the course of a month and 1000+$ later my car suddenly stops working. Had it worked on with my personal mechanic a day before bringing it , driving fine, leaving shell suddenly there's overheating and misfires. Charged double for parts since this business is not afforded credit at the local parts store ( if that's not a warning of a rip off). stay away from here and plainville auto, the family will run you for a quick buck if your car isn't in warranty with the dealership.
