About a week later, I was very excited to see an email come in with the header/title "Great News!". Imagine my disappointment when I open the email only to see it's just advertisement for more positions. Ummm...what about the ones I APPLIED TO? 2 days after that, I got another email with the title "Next Steps". I wasn't so excited this time. As expected, it was just more positions. And the spamming continued. 2 weeks after I initially applied for the positions, I got a response. Unfortunately, I was being passed over for one of the positions. That's fine, at least I got an answer. I still haven't heard back about the other 4. KICKER: 1 week after I was declined, I was sent an email for the position I was declined for. The email didn't have a bunch of positions in it...Just. That. One. Now, I realize how things are these days. Everything is automated, yadda yadda...apply your butt off, get no response is the norm. It is an awful practice, but it is what it is for now. But, to get an email from AN EMPLOYEE at Randstad (not just from Randstad.com) for a particular position that you were already declined for AND without hearing about the other positions you've applied for? Bad business. Don't waste your time.

I inquired about a job and got a call for a zoom interview, then I was given 2 tests to complete but the link was only letting me access to one so I reached out to the recruiter about it and told her that so had completed one out of the two and sent her screenshots of the error I received while trying to do the second test and she replied back very promptly and informed me that she had sent another link for the test and so I finally get that test done and informed the recruiter and I get an email from her saying "Thank you" So I assumed that they would get back to me. I tried calling them multiple times but nobody ever answered the phones. 10+ days go by and I'm calling but nobody ever answered or returned the calls so I proceeded to email a follow up after that since I wasn't getting anywhere and Woow! Weeks after I finally hear back with the classic "we don't have anything that fits your skill set" SO THEN WHY EVEN TALK ABOUT A POSITION THAT YOU WERE NOT EVEN GOING TO PRESENT ME FOR??? So unprofessional! They need to figure out their stuff because why even try to help others when your office and staff isn't working properly.
