Holy cow this place is popular for lunch! The wait wasn't long despite the restaurant and parking lot being packed which was awesome. I'm doing a paleo diet right now and saw online that they have a paleo bowl. I didn't see it on the menu when I walked in but I asked and they knew what I was talking about. We have been to Aubergine several times in Draper now, including another location in Riverton. We enjoy eating here because it's a fresher, healthier alternative with plenty of options to choose from. My wife ordered the protein avocado crisp salad, which comes with the cilantro jalapeño dressing and a lot of fresh ingredients. The dressing is delicious! I ordered the steak melt on pita, which came with a side of the dressing for dipping and has tri tip. It was also delicious. But what keeps us coming back is the cheesebread! Similar to what you'd get at a Brazilian steakhouse, these are addicting! We also love their assortments of fresh limeade and herbal teas. I also love on their website they have a feature that will allow you to easily track the macros for your meal depending on what you add or take out of your meal. Wow! The food here is GREAT! It's so good that I brought home my left over appetizer, it was an orange cauliflower thing. I'm not sure what its called on the menu. Btw, my husband does not like cauliflower. Unbeknownst to me, he got into the bag of food I brought home and found what he thought was orange chicken and he ate all of it. I was finally able to come a give this place a try! Lots of people have recommended it, so I went today with my husband and we decided to share the Tri-tip Madeira bowl and the Dip Sampler Plate. Wow! The flavors were so amazing. The portions were huge and one bowl was plenty for the two of us. I've never tried baba ganoush before but I thought it was delicious with the pomegranate seeds in it. This place is pretty happening and it was super busy for 1:45 in the afternoon. We were lucky to find a seat! My only complaint about my experience was the fact that it smelled EXTREMELY strong of a citrusy chemical smell. I almost couldn't even eat my food because of it. Next time I go and it smells like that, I'll have to get my food to go. I'm not sure if it's a cleaner they use or if they use scented plug-ins somewhere. By the time we were done eating, I had a headache. I'm not sure all locations are like that but the Draper one was really bad. read more

This was my first time visiting this particular location, and my second time visiting Aubergine. My coworker and I came during lunch, and I was grateful they were not too busy or packed. The line was short, and there was plenty of seating for us to choose from. I got the very berry salad. I will say that you probably should not expect it to look like it does in the photo online; there is definitely not as much goat cheese or as many berries, but they are generous with the chicken. The food quality was really fresh and delicious. It is really bright and clean on the inside which I appreciate. I liked the ambience. I think I would come back to try a couple of different things, but it would be a rare treat because for me personally, this is a pretty pricey lunch. read more
