Let's start with this, the food here is fine, the service was good, place is clean and nicely decorated, my problem with this place is that when going for Greek or Mediterranean food you expect bursts of flavor and uniqueness, the food here is bland, the gyro meat had no flavor, and neither did the hummus, this is the Subway of Mediterranean food, nothing wrong with a Subway sandwich but you know the meatball sandwich is better at the Italian deli that subway. I often eat lunch here and last year did the fall party with Mexican food every single guest said no no no more Mexican food... Everyone said that they truly enjoyed this delicious Mediterranean food catered from SPITZ in Draper! Order from their website they use EZCatering and it did make it easy ordering along with sending reminder Texts. The service at this establishment is absolutely abhorrent, and there was a whole press-on nail in our food. Our order was brought out and had been mistaken for someone else's. When we brought it up with the woman at the counter she seemed very annoyed that we brought it up to her. We ordered a chicken euro and halfway through we discovered an entire press-on-nail. We were understandably disgusted and asked for a refund. Carol (presumably the manager) told us that none of the women in the kitchen were allowed to wear nails. We could see three women (including the cashier) wearing acrylic nails. She told us that they weren't responsible for the nail and therefore wouldn't give us a refund. We opted for a gift card that we won't be using. The way the situation was handled was extremely disappointing. If not a refund, a little bit of accountability would have been nice. Great (and unsanitary) food, decent atmosphere, shockingly disheartening management. We will not be back. read more

I had heard so much about Spitz and finally got to visit. I ordered take out to meet my friend who loves Spitz. If you didn't know like me their specialty is Mediterranean food. It's the Diet I should be on but I'm not. I digress. The food is fresh I had a salad bowl packed with all of the Med goodness you could fit in. My friend loves the Med wrap and adds all three meats. It was huge and enough for two meals at least. The best part though, which ruins my diet plans, are the French Fries. I'm kind of picky because I don't eat them often so when I do they better be good. These aren't just good they are amazing. So I'll be back for my fries. I didn't give it five stars because I had sticker shock when I paid. It came to $49 with a basic tip. Going out to eat is the Yelpers favorite pass time but this was too expensive for what we got.
