I like their flat breads. My favorite is the chicken caprese It comes with a green sauce that's delicious. We didn't wait long at all despite it being busy maybe 10 min max. The gentleman taking our order just smiled at us when it was our turn to order. I understand the language barrier but say "hi how can I help." He also seemed timid giving us our total. Didn't talk much. I like aubergine so I would come back. It is pricey but you have to account for all the fresh ingredients. We spent $30 for two meals no drink.

Healthy and tasty, two words that don't usually appear in the same sentence. Aubergine has found the balance. I really enjoyed the bowl and especially the cheese bread that came with it.

    MAC'N CHEESE TRI-TIP PLATE
    KinCaid F.

I ordered the Mac and Cheese Tri Tip plate to go for lunch today thinking I was about to experience stellar comfort food. What I got was a lukewarm identity crisis on a biodegradable tray. The mac and cheese tasted like it had big dreams once, maybe wanted to go to culinary school, but ended up in a motivational seminar instead. The tri tip was fine, in the same way your girlfriend is "fine."

Ordered inside for takeout. Took about 10-15 minutes to get our food. I got the coconut curry chicken. Pretty good, I wish the coconut curry was a tad sweater but that's just preference. Overall it was pretty good. It came with a cheesy bread. I could've downed like 10 of em. A bit expensive but the ingredients were fresh.

This was my first time at this particular location. I love how bright, modern, and clean it looks, as well as the outdoor seating that is perfect for a sunset dinner. Aubergine had some new items since the last time I had been in, and everything was delicious as usual. The staff was helpful as well. I will definitely be back to this location in the future.

    PASSION SALAD

Salad was okay, the tofu was good and the avocado was beautiful. The smoothie was pretty good too, the cheese bread always a win. The service was polite, the restaurant was clean.

Holy cow this place is popular for lunch! The wait wasn't long despite the restaurant and parking lot being packed which was awesome. I'm doing a paleo diet right now and saw online that they have a paleo bowl. I didn't see it on the menu when I walked in but I asked and they knew what I was talking about. It was nice to have the fun of going out to lunch with a friend even though I'm on this intense diet. I loved the chicken avocado and (not spicy ) jalapeño dressing. It really helped me get through eating all those veggies. The guy helping me was so nice too. What a great experience! (My friend got the coconut curry and said it was bland!)

We have been to Aubergine several times in Draper now, including another location in Riverton. We enjoy eating here because it's a fresher, healthier alternative with plenty of options to choose from. My wife ordered the protein avocado crisp salad, which comes with the cilantro jalapeño dressing and a lot of fresh ingredients. The dressing is delicious! I ordered the steak melt on pita, which came with a side of the dressing for dipping and has tri tip. It was also delicious. But what keeps us coming back is the cheesebread! Similar to what you'd get at a Brazilian steakhouse, these are addicting! We also love their assortments of fresh limeade and herbal teas. There have been a few trips where the food has been hit or miss, otherwise it would be 5-stars when it's as good as it gets.

They all were so good that we couldn't agree on a favorite. Breakfast burrito and ube pancakes for mains. The burrito was STUFFED with delicious chorizo, cheese, egg, and veggies. Wrapped in a super large tortilla then grilled for crispy exterior. Served with a fantastic salsa with hints chipotle heat. Great flavor but not so much that it buries the flavor. The ube pancakes were also incredible. Four large, lightly crisped cakes topped with ube whipped cream, blueberries, blueberry syrup drizzle, and a mint sprig. First bite was so good that I didn't talk for at least five minutes, so I could shovel in more and more. They came with a side of syrup, but it was definitely not needed. Five locations and they have not lost a step. The menu is simple and does not need to be anything else. Plenty of omelette options, solid sides, and the star of the show: the Heavenly Hot Cakes. The name is not marketing fluff, it earns every word. Light, airy, and unlike any pancake you will find at a generic breakfast chain. Their secret, sour cream folded into the batter. Whatever they are doing, it works! We ordered a single stack, two Heavenly Hot Cakes, and paired it with a side of strawberries and Nutella, scrambled eggs, and home fried potatoes. The bacon came out crispy to perfection, exactly as requested, no more no less. The strawberries and Nutella alongside the pancakes was an indulgent combination that I have zero regrets about. Portions are generous and the prices are more than fair for what you get. Staff was friendly and the place fills up fast on weekends, so join the waitlist before you leave home. Do not show up and hope for the best. Five stars. A Utah breakfast institution that continues to earn it.

My girlfriend and I visited La Condesa for brunch with some friends after hearing good things about…read moreit. Overall, I'd give it 3 out of 5 stars. While there were some things we enjoyed, the overall experience didn't quite justify the price. First, the restaurant is beautiful. The décor is modern, stylish, and very Instagram-worthy. It's easily one of the nicest-looking brunch spots I've visited in Utah. Unfortunately, the dining room feels overcrowded. The tables are placed extremely close together, making it difficult to have a private conversation. We often had to raise our voices just to hear each other, and even the servers seemed to struggle moving between tables. The atmosphere looked great, but it didn't feel very comfortable. The service was polite and friendly, but one thing bothered me. Shortly after we finished our main dishes, the check was brought to the table. We hadn't asked for it, and it made us feel a bit rushed, as if it was time to leave even though we were still talking with our friends. It's a small detail, but it affects the overall dining experience. For drinks, I ordered a piña colada, and unfortunately it was disappointing. It tasted overly diluted, with very little pineapple flavor, while the rum stood out much more than it should have. I also ordered the Vital Boost juice. The flavor was actually good, but it was served at room temperature, which wasn't what I expected from a fresh juice. For my meal, I ordered the breakfast burrito. It tasted good, but I couldn't justify the $20 price tag. It consisted of a thin tortilla filled with eggs, bacon, cheese, and potatoes, served with shredded potatoes and a small side salad. While everything was cooked properly, the ingredients felt simple, and the portion didn't match the price. I've had larger and more satisfying meals elsewhere for the same cost. My girlfriend ordered the birria tacos. They were decent but nothing memorable. We've had better birria at other restaurants. The consommé was much spicier than expected, and while some people may enjoy that, it wasn't our preference. The tortillas were also average. On the positive side, the lemonade was refreshing. I should also mention that Mexican food isn't usually my favorite cuisine, so I know my preferences may differ from those of other diners. Still, I always evaluate a restaurant based on the balance between quality, value, flavor, and the overall experience. In this case, I felt the food was good but not exceptional enough to justify the prices. La Condesa is definitely worth visiting if you're looking for a beautiful brunch spot with a trendy atmosphere. However, between the cramped seating, the value for the money, a few disappointing dishes, and feeling rushed at the end of the meal, the overall experience fell short of my expectations. I don't regret trying it, but it isn't a place I'd personally choose to revisit anytime soon.
