I have eaten here multiple times and the food is great from sandwiches, to burgers and the prime rib is awesome. There cookies are delicious also. My go to is the cranberry white chocolate oatmeal cookies. The staff has always been friendly and the service is fast. Plus they have diet dr.pepper which I 100% fox with. Truly awful experience for which we somehow paid $82 for lunch for two people. My husband enjoyed his short ribs but my Cobb salad was disgusting. The chicken was full of gristle, lettuce tasted old, bacon was clearly from a bag of Costco crumbles. The service was good but that's our last visit to Hughes. She was surprised I hadn't been waited on when the young man came to my table, I would have felt better if he at least would have apologized for my wait but no such thing ! Gave him my order in my not so friendly face , and he went to get it! He was a nice boy, so I really hate to disparage him, but it goes back to taking care of a customer! Then the roast beef dip came and honestly it was totally unacceptable! It wasn't that it was dry, but something was wrong with it. It was a hard roast beef that didn't shred, but was hard to bite into. So maybe it was dry, the ends were dried out, oh, I know it was I wasn't gonna eat it! I waited for the young men to come back again, and find me took my dish to two young girls who were coming out of the kitchen! Funny name, friendly staff, fabulous food. We stopped by after a fun day of paddle boarding at Stansbury Park Lake. The complimentary bread and strawberry lemonade were refreshing while we awaited our entrees. I ordered the coconut shrimp with included side salad and mashed potatoes with cheese. The shrimp was delicious with the sweet heat cranpeno colada sauce. The potatoes were not my favorite due to a bitter flavor. I love mashed potatoes so this was a disappointment. My daughter loved her Crispy Chicken Bacon Avocado Salad and rated it 5 stars. Aspen was a phenomenal waitress who made the dining experience truly enjoyable. She was friendly, ensured our every need was met, and seemed to enjoy serving us. She ranks in the top 10% of waitresses that have served me over the past five decades. I cannot recommend this place enough!!! I was in Tooele on business for the week. I ate here four times. Every meal was great!!! The portions were ideal and the food quality was superb. I enjoyed the sirloin and shrimp, and the pan-seared salmon, the garlic and herb shrimp dinner, but my favorite was the pot roast. I couldn't eat all of it and had to take some home. The service was good and the dinning area was clean and comfortable. I will definitely come here next time I am up this way, there are many more menu options I want to try. read more

We absolutely love coming here! The food is always delicious. They have the best drinks (lime Rickey's, any flavor lemonade, cream soda, etc). They start at with homemade bread as the appetizer with a delicious strawberry butter. It is so delicious! We have tried many things on the menu and always love what we get! Located in a strip mall we arrived for dinner and was promptly seated. This was my 1st visit to this location which offered a sit down service (other location frequented was much smaller and we ordered at the counter and then food was delivered). I ordered the Portobello Chicken - Grilled chicken breast sautéed in a Portobello mushroom cream sauce with roasted tomato and tender artichoke hearts. Topped with shredded parmesan. And served with potatoes. The service was prompt and our server was polite and friendly - offering suggestions. While I liked the chicken, I didn't love it. It had some strong seasoning that wouldn't be great on a date night. Bread and a flavored butter is served prior to the meal and super tasty. Next visit I'll definitely try something different. Others in my group had a burger and fish and they enjoyed their meals. ...But then the pink cookies on display as you arrive are super tempting and we gave in. We eat here frequently since it's so close to our house in Stansbury Park. The food is always prepared with great care. I would prefer their salads if they had fresh green lettuce and not iceberg. But otherwise it's very pleasant and the wait staff is exceptional. Do wish we could get a glass of wine at dinner. We generally just come for lunch. It would be great to be able to get breakfast here as well! It's great to have a restaurant right in Stansbury Park! I would also love it if they serve the chicken salad on an authentic croissant. I want to start off by saying that the wait staff was excellent and I feel bad that they have to work with such a poor kitchen staff. It really seems like the entire staff is filled by a local high school and there is no manager on duty. You can hear laughter and horseplay coming from the kitchen through your entire meal which is very long even if you just order a sandwich. The wait staff vacuumed the floor 4 separate times while we waited for our food to give you an idea of how long we waited. Then the bread was soggy as if it had been sitting awhile and the burger was burned to a crisp and still served. We ordered the chips and salsa which for some reason comes with a side of shredded cheese and it was just the chip scraps to the point that we could not eat the majority of them due to their inability to hold salsa. Overall it seems like this restaurant has a lot of potential, but needs to have a good manager to take care of the kitchen staff and a chef to shore up some of the menu options. It took me and my husband awhile to try this place out because there always seems to be a long line when we drive by. We tried going on a Friday at about 5pm and we're seated right away. Great service - bread and drinks were served quickly (delicious homemade bread and raspberry butter btw). The server checked on us several times and made good recommendations. I got a Turkey avocado panini and my husband got the prime rib. Food was hot, flavorful, and reasonably priced. We look forward to going back. It is awesome to finally have a restaurant close by in stansbury with a unique menu and quality food. read more

This is an eatery we have needed in our area for a long time! Very good food, large selection to choose from, good sized portions. I have never had anything here I did not like. We take our entire family when they come to visit, always something for everyone! Since this is a new location for this restaurant some start up bugs were expected, mostly staffing issues. I've ordered the pasta chicken salad supreme on two different occasions. The first time the salad had large chunks of white onion thrown on top Instead of thinly sliced red onion. The second time the chicken was so dry it was inedible. The salad dressing is not the same as it looks like they use a brown vinegar instead of red wine vinegar to make it, it was bland and tasteless. I will not be returning anytime soon. Twice bitten! I've eaten at several Hug-Hes cafes and they have been outstanding. Too bad, Tooele needs something like this. read more

I stopped and visited my daughter the other day. And she brought me to a great local Cafe. The Cafe was impressive right from the moment you entered. The restaurant was clean the wait staff was dressed in black uniforms that were neat and clean. Our waitress Jaycee was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. The printed menu was neat clean and well laid out. The food was delicious and filling. If in Stansbury park I recommend trying this great place. read more

I have eaten here 10+ times over the past year. This restaurant is definitely more high end for Tooele County. The service and food have been excellent each and ever time I have eaten here. Between myself and others who have joined me for a meal, we have tried just about ever item on the menu. The sandwiches and salad are tasty. The dinner entrees are cooked well. The cookies and custard ice cream are a great take home dessert for later. You also get free bread with your meal. The only downside are the appetizers. Sometimes it is served hot and fresh. Other times you can tell that they made the appetizers in advanced to save time, which means the appetizers are dried and cold. Overall, I recommend this place. read more
