What a lovely, healthy joint! I have a friend who is very dietarily restricted and she was able to find something that she could eat here, so I was impressed and had to try it. She ordered a make-your-own salad and was impressed with the use of kale along with romaine, and she loved all of the different salad and sandwich toppings that she could add into her salad. I got the chicken pita with all of the fixings and was generally impressed. The chicken was very well-cooked--seasoned well and not rubbery at all, as if it was fresh off of the grill. The ingredients in the pita were all delicious and fresh, but I thought that the ratio of chicken to hummus to veggies was a little bit off; I couldn't taste the hummus and had to search for the chicken. Additionally, the large number of kalamata olives in the pita overwhelmed the overall flavor, but that could have been the mistake of a heavy hand on this one particular dish. I would go back to Aubergine and Company again, but I'd order something different. Many people there were ordering rice bowls and seemed to enjoy them. read more

I thought the food I had was good. I had a salad, it was named Greek or Italian something like that. It was good, especially considering it wasn't doused in ranch. Which is my typical course of action when I order a salad. The portion was generous. I added salmon. I debated on adding chicken but in was in some weird juice thing that was not at all appetizing. It was the smaller salad and even still I couldn't finish it. There were a lot of mix-ins, I like that they let you customize it a little bit. The wheat pita they served with was excellent. I had to convince my fiancé to come try this place because he didn't want to go to a "healthy" place - typical man. BUT He absolutely LOVED it. He got the steak and chicken entree and cheese bread. I got the dream salad. We both ate all our food and were so happy. The real treat was for dessert we got the "exotic" açaí bowl. It was unbelievable. We both have had many açaí bowls and it's one of our favorite things. My fiancé said that was the best one he's ever had. VERY impressed with this place. I've come to Aubergine for a while. The meals are hit and miss. They always forget to give me cheese bread. The last few times I've been here the staff are on their phones instead of helping customers, food that is meant to be served warm is ice cold... telling the staff doesn't help they get even more rude. One staff member dropped my smoothie on the floor... no one came to clean it up. I left maybe 20 min later it was still on the floor. I'll never go to this cafe agaIn and wIll make it a point to tell everyone I know to not bother going here. It's rubbish. I don't know who's managing but the staff is terrible. read more

Had 10 employees working and it took FOREVER to check out the three customers in line. They need an extra register! Food is good though.

This place is a great place for people who need options! Next week, they are even bringing on gluten free pita bread! To have vegan, vegatarian and gluten free options is so convenient! Not to mention the place has amazing fresh ingredients and even goes the extra mile to chop and mix in with dressing for you! This is great so all the salad toppings are mixed it, not just sitting on the top. Bravo! My only complaint is that the 'extra' salad toppings are pretty pricey at $1 per topping. Also the ordering process is pretty complicated your first time. Just be prepared and explain to them that you have never been there before. read more

I really like the food here but it's difficult to eat! It actually deters me from going sometimes lol. If you get a pita you pretty much just have to eat the inside out because there's no way you're picking it up. The food is always super fresh and its a great healthy option. The food was ok, the service can use some work. A lot of great vegetarian options. A few vegan options. Some options you can make dairy free. But it was difficult to find nut free options. The staff was not very knowledgeable as to how dressings and sauces were made or what ingredients were in them. They were not very friendly or willing to find answers for me. I wasn't trying to be picky...just trying not to die from the nuts. I know there are always risks of cross-contamination when I eat out, but they didn't seem willing to help, even a little, to reduce that risk. read more

I like that the menu specifies which options are vegan with a (v). I ordered the avocado whole wheat pita which is on the online menu. They said it was no longer on their Restaraunt menu, but they were able to sub in avocado for falafel in a different wrap. Always a great meal here. Not the cheapest or fastest, I usually plan to be in line about 10 minutes - but if you want a great tasting and high quality dish for less than $12 your patience will pay off here. All the ingredients are fresh, the counters are clean. Employees are friendly and seem happy. I am always greeted by the owners, who are local, super cool, and dedicated to providing an excellent dining experience. The acai bowls are fantastic, but the meals are hearty enough that I can't take down a salad and acai bowl in one sitting. I had the falafel sandwich with baba ghanoush. It tasted fresh. I really liked the quinoa and lentils added to it. It gave it a nice texture. The sandwich was surprisingly filling since it doesn't look very big. The falafel sandwich is worth the price. The Brazilian Açai bowl left a little to be desired in taste. I love Açai but this bowl did not have the nice strong Açai taste I personally prefer. With all of that said, the consistency of the Açai and the fresh toppings were great (about the best I've had in the US) Suggestion To The Owners: Crunchier granola goes great with the Açai bowl. read more

Sooothisplace used to be a FIVE. but I'm kind of upset because they got rid of my favorite salad the Tuscany salad... like no one likes shredded mozzarella. BRING BACK THE FRESH!!!! I am maybe now wasss a super loyal customer like 5 time a week. We waited at the beginning of the queue for 5 minutes without anyone saying anything to us, while they were messing around with stuff behind the counter.
