Both my kids came here for Phase 1 braces, my daughter for heavy crowding and my son for crowding plus airway issues that had him snoring and grinding. Within 6 months of treatment I can already see the improvements. My son sleeps soundly and both of them have received expansion to make space for their permanent teeth. They are great at keeping you updated with text message reminders which I love. When I called they were able to email all the forms required and I was able to complete everything online before even coming in which made everything flow so incredibly smooth, so shout out to the front desk for really making the process truly seamless. They are on it like hot cakes with keeping things safe regarding CO-VID 19 which really gives you peace of mind. Only 2 people are allowed in the waiting room at a time, and temperature checks are required for everyone. Once you get in the chair everyone works together so well to get you taken of, it's impressive. I had the honor of having Michelle and Laura (+ a few other ladies whose name I forgot to ask, sorry!) help me out and those two paired with Dr. Mason helped make my anxieties go away during my visit. They really take their time to make sure you are safe, comfortable, and 100% okay with everything going on as they tell you what they're doing every step of the way so you're not wondering what's going on in there. Not to mention everyone I encountered there has been sweeter than sugar. It really is just a pleasant place to be! The incident ruined my teeth and beautiful smile I once had. Within about a month my teeth turned black on all of the areas that the grinder touched. Two teeth have since rotted and have fallen out. It was done on purpose so that I would have to come in for more expensive procedures. What really irks me is how the two women laughed as they were preparing to ruin my teeth. A lovely gap started to emerge between my front teeth and was getting wider by the day. Dr. Khang and his team are super amazing people- very friendly and they truly care about their patients. They worked with me on a plan that fit my needs teeth-wise and financially as well! I never thought I'd be saying this, but I actually enjoy going to my ortho appointments! Another plus is Dr. Khang's office is super high tech and clean. The X ray machines and all their other dental/ortho machines (I clearly don't know the names of any of them) are all new- I feel like I'm at a dental spa in Korea! I got 3 of my wisdom teeth removed here and I was given Novocain by needle but it didn't numb me all the way, as the male dentist (I'm not sure of his name) starting working on me I didn't feel any pain till he reached my jaw bone and starting removing pieces of tooth. I began to cry, the pain intensified and it became a scream. I thought the dentist would stop but he continued and when I got louder and began to shake he got stern and asked me "do you want me to finish or not" I tried to say yes but it hurts, I could not because of his hands in my mouth. Gabby (one of the staff) held my hand to try and comfort since I had began to scream louder and shake uncontrollably. The dentist finally gave me more Novocain and everybody left me by myself in the room. They came back in and he finished, I was more numb and quiet but terrified and traumatized. I had a hard time scheduling a simple cleaning as well so if you want regular check ups this place will not be able to accommodate. RECENTLY I went in to have a couple of teeth checked for cavities. (2 of my molars had some weird coloration) The regular staff were getting me set up to be looked at by the female dentist and were telling me it looked like plaque so I was hoping to hear good news. When the female dentist came to look at my teeth she told me I had 4 CAVITIES in my teeth. One on each bottom molar. Super bad news for me I'm 25 F, I try to take very good care of my teeth. I have had braces and I work with elderly people so I know the importance of dental care. I went to a different dentist because of my negative past experience with the wisdom teeth removal and I didn't want them filling my cavities. I went to DR. Mattingly dental (I've seen them since I was a child) I was ready to have him fill 4 of my molars, he took and look and said it was all healthy enamel just with some staining. This female dentist at Golden state smiles was going to drill into 4 of my healthy molars. When I had her check I did inform her that I couldn't afford to go somewhere else so it almost feels like a cash grab from insurance on her part. She knows people can't afford a second opinion so she drills into healthy teeth and bills your insurance company. Just my expirience. Do with that what you will. (The photo is post wisdom teeth removal, it was the most traumatizing and painful expirience of my life. They prescribed me ibuprofen for the pain which didn't help much. The swelling stretched my face out a lot and I honestly don't feel like I look the same after.)

This facility packs their schedule and usually your appointment is delayed 30-45 min. The office staff are not friendly. The waiting room is overly crowded and there is no room to sit or stand.
