It's hard to think of where to start with my experiences with Dr. Mason. From making an appointment you're greeted by the sweetest ladies at the front desk that answer any and all of your questions! They are great at keeping you updated with text message reminders which I love. When I called they were able to email all the forms required and I was able to complete everything online before even coming in which made everything flow so incredibly smooth, so shout out to the front desk for really making the process truly seamless. They are on it like hot cakes with keeping things safe regarding CO-VID 19 which really gives you peace of mind. Only 2 people are allowed in the waiting room at a time, and temperature checks are required for everyone. Once you get in the chair everyone works together so well to get you taken of, it's impressive. I had the honor of having Michelle and Laura (+ a few other ladies whose name I forgot to ask, sorry!) help me out and those two paired with Dr. Mason helped make my anxieties go away during my visit. They really take their time to make sure you are safe, comfortable, and 100% okay with everything going on as they tell you what they're doing every step of the way so you're not wondering what's going on in there. Not to mention everyone I encountered there has been sweeter than sugar. It really is just a pleasant place to be! After visiting Dr. Mason's office I can really look forward to my regular dental appointments instead of dreading them like a chore. Can't wait to see everyone there again! read more

i went in for my first routine teeth cleaning with this dentist and the two dental assistants that did my cleaning used a dremel type grinder on my teeth. The incident ruined my teeth and beautiful smile I once had. Within about a month my teeth turned black on all of the areas that the grinder touched. Two teeth have since rotted and have fallen out. It was done on purpose so that I would have to come in for more expensive procedures. What really irks me is how the two women laughed as they were preparing to ruin my teeth. It would have been nice if they ran my insurance before my appointment date. When I called to make my appointment, I asked if they accepted my insurance and they confirmed that they did. I received several calls, texts and emails prior to my appointment confirming my scheduled date and time. I also filled out the online questionnaire which included my insurance information. When I arrived, I arrived 15 mins ahead of my scheduled time only to be told that they might not accept my insurance but that I can join their membership program. After waiting 10-15 mins they still didn't verify my insurance but told me they don't accept HMO's. My insurance is an HMO, so I left. It seemed like a really nice place, it just would have been nice if they ran my insurance before I went out of my way. read more

MONEY DRIVEN. Are the staff friendly? YES. In fact very very considerate. Is the office nice and clean? YES. Only they took 2 types of X-rays and a scan and looked at my mouth over and over, WITHOUT doing anything about it besides telling me I need to get alignment. I didn't even get a cleaning! I have NEVER in my life gone to dentist without getting a cleaning! Not even a simple gargle! They schedule that separately. The Hygenist and the Dentist both kept repeating themselves about getting alignments. Even after I had already said I need to wait cause I am the ONLY employed/insured member of the house and my kids will also need to have things done. I had already said I will wait on it. And they made sure to ask AGAIN if I want to go ahead and order it before I left. And when I said, I wanna wait until the next enrollment...the hygienist said: "so not soon". Even for kids, they require the cleaning to be a separate appointment than the new patient exam. read more

This is truly an office of pure dental sales. In dentistry you either need the treatment or you don't. While some dentists are more conservative than others, this office will ALWAYS strive to max out your insurance and generate treatment plans for the sole purpose of meeting their production goals rather than the quality of care and taking into consideration the patient's pocket. My dentist had retired and I had a tough time finding a new one who I was comfortable with. I started coming here in January and am so happy with my experience. I know some people have written reviews about how they offer Invisiline and think it's a sales hustle. I can attest IT IS NOT! Oof. The first red flag was when she asked me to change my stars rating and waited for me to pull up my yelp review so she could "see to it" that I did indeed change my four stars to five. She then said "now you get a treat" and handed me a reusable tote bag with her logo plastered on it. Yay I sold out for a lousy tote. It gets worse. I just came from there having waited an hour, in the dentist chair to be seen. So long that they had to bring me back to the front desk and get me to make another appointment! The whole ordeal seemed highly unprofessional, maybe she has trouble retaining staff. I took time out of my day and from my work and to be waiting for AN HOUR with no reason as to why it was taking so long was infuriating especially after they just sent a text reminding me to be there on time. Maybe it's because I already spent the $5k on my Invisalign 2 years ago and there's no more money left for her to gobble up. She prides herself on understanding dental anxiety but waiting for extended amounts of time in a cold dentist chair seems like the opposite of comforting. read more

So it's almost 2019. My implants are still in good health. I believe my teeth surrounding the implants just needed work. I'd love to revise my initial review and say, she did a great job. I recently had all my dental work finished and I'm happy to say these implants are still holding strong. I have the permanent crowns in place and could not be happier. Okay so I had to update my review since I have just got my first dental procedure done by Dr. Mason and her team. I was so afraid to get my tooth done because the last dentist hit a nerve so bad and didn't pull back it scarred me for life. So 2 years I have avoided this fix but Dr. Mason seriously worked her magic. She gave me my shots to numb me and the way she did it I didn't feel a thing. When I raised my hand at 1 point where i felt somewhat of a pinch she backed off and it didn't hurt at all. The procedure was quick and painless. Like many, I absolutely despise going to the dentist. As a child I had a lot of dental work done and it left me with anxiety and fear of going to the dentist. I've been to several dentists in the area but none have made it to yelp. Even though they were accommodating I still felt a lot of shame about being so overwhelmed. Dr. Mason is special. Her entire team is amazing. The office is immaculate. I know they honestly get dental phobias. They held my hand through a crown which I don't remember thankfully to light sedation. I've had Noreen clean my teeth twice and she caused zero pain and zero anxiety. All of them are so gentle. I recommend Dr Mason to anyone needing a dentist - especially if you're afraid. read more

This could have been my favorite dentist. The whole staff is very friendly and well trained. But they are very pushy and way too expensive. All I needed at the time of my visit is cleaning and to pull a broken tooth. Since it has been many many years to a dentist, I need to take it slow and work into the other problem, when I am ready. They took photos, digital photos, x-rays, and the hygienist cleaned my teeth. I was there for four and a half hours. They scheduled to have my another two teeth repaired, crowns, and cleaning my gums. After it was done I just wanted to go. With coverage, I still have to pay over $2000. Before my next appointment, and we were out of town for the week. After we found out my broken tooth is not scheduled and after our discussion about it, we decided to call to ask them to make sure the only thing I would want to have done is the tooth being pulled and I thought finish cleaning, until I found out it's gum cleaning, for that appointment. Then just finish gum cleaning and tooth pulled, with coverage, $906 out of pocket in 3 appointments. Even with my insurance we definitely can not afford them. Where we went had poor service and we emailed them instead of calling. We mentioned we were out of town and had poor service. Instead of re- scheduling the way I wanted, they kept insisting on us calling them instead of continuing with email. All I needed was help with my tooth and simple cleaning. Expecting all covered by insurance. We think them charging $5500.00 out of pocket for correction alignment kit is out of line knowing we have no way to pay. Also, seen commercials about the kits for more than half the price. I appreciate all the recommendations and care, but I want the trouble taken care of before any other treatments and hate being pushed on how we can pay. read more

I could add several more adjectives, but I think you get my drift. When you walk into Dr. Mason's office, you will see "Voted the Best Dentist of 2016". In fact... for multiple years. Believe it! I recently relocated from the Los Angeles area and had almost a 20-year relationship with my old dentist. Needless to say, I was very nervous about finding a new dentist. Well, I found a new sanctuary for my teeth in Dr. Mason. My first consultation was so incredibly comprehensive. The staff took several 3D pictures, multiple x-rays, examined the health of my entire mouth, and acquired my previous dental records while sitting in the chair! They even took pictures that modeled straight teeth, should I opt to get Invisalign. During the consultation, they noticed an infection in my two front teeth and referred me to a top-talent Endodontist. Good thing! The infection was eating up the roots in my teeth and I had no idea...yikes!!! I have had so much dental work over the course of my lifetime in the spirit of a pretty smile. I have had tooth extractions, braces, crowns, root canals, a bridge, veneers, and I bleach my teeth. I take care of my teeth and trust them only to the best. I recently had dental work done by Dr. Brown at this practice, and I was very impressed! He and his staff clearly explained the work that I needed done, and even showed me pictures of my teeth using their intraoral camera. I could see on a screen right in front of me what I needed and why they recommended the work. I had two crowns made and placed in one morning. They made the crowns right in their office and placed them the same day. I did not have to return to have them placed on a second visit. The assistants were very skilled and very attentive to be sure I was comfortable. It is a very modern facility and actually a very relaxing atmosphere. I was very impressed! read more

I came here after many bad dentist visits from other offices that doesn't care about your health just your money..Looks like i made the right choice. My wife found this hidden gem on yelp and lets just say it was worth it. The office is always clean along with the staff are always polite. They was able to take there time with my exams and cleanings and any other work that is needed. If they don't have a time that will work for you they will be glad to find what works for you. i was a patient with Dr Mason for over 10 years . Yesterday I had a crown come out in the front of my mouth #10 . it hurts and is uncomfortable. I scheduled an appointment and was told I would see Dr Mason that she was only coming in Thursdays to see patients like me . Then I get a call back from Heather saying that if I wanted to be seen by Dr Brown the new Dr it would be $151 and if they could recement my crown an additional $272 . I was upset because I am only on disability income and I asked her if she could talk to dr Mason and Dr brown and ask if I could pay the $151 and make payments on the rest . she was rude and told me that Dr Brown couldn't do that because if he treated everyone for free or let people make payments he wouldn't have a practice . I told her I was gonna call the dental board and ask how long a front crown is supposed to last and see what options I have . she went back and told Dr Mason I said I was calling the dental board on her . which was never said . also Dr Mason called me today and didn't seem to care at all about my broken crown , she told me how she treated me for free for years as if I wasn't thankful for her kindness . she then told me she won't be seeing me she's only seeing patients who paid for their service and she didn't appreciate me saying I would call the board on her which I never said . She told me she couldn't help me I would need to find a new dentist. I will be finding a new dentist but I wanted everyone to know how I was treated because I thought Dr Mason was a Christian woman and would always be kind but now I see I was just a poor person with no money and no Insurance to her . she also has Claudia call me and tell me Dr Brown wouldn't be taking me as a new patient either when I did nothing to be treated so cold . I finally chose to go after hearing all the good things my husband had to say. My first visit was with Laura who was so helpful and kind. She made me feel comfortable and at home during my visit. I felt more confident about my dental care when leaving. I was able to take a look at my problem areas and be able to make a future decision on my care. I have had chronic pain relating to (and at least partially caused by) dental work since I was about 14 years old. I went to Christina Mason because I was starting to get flinchy at my dentist during even basic cleanings, and a friend who was phobic of dentists recommended her. My first cleaning, when I mentioned that the electric cleaning tools were on the edge of hurting, the dental hygienist switched to manual tools (without my asking for it) and took twice as long giving me time to rest my jaw, and she did so without the usual little gestures of impatience that often accompany that sort of accommodation. That was pretty cool. My next visits, for a few fillings and another cleaning, I was feeling brave enough to try nitrous oxide, and that made the experience both pleasant and fast. This office that understands pain, that goes out of their way to be aware of it, and that prioritizes patient comfort. I've been going to dentists for years, and telling them I have jaw pain and headaches, and why, and most of them have believed me (more or less) but had no idea what to do about it. They would recommend various orthotics, and I would be unable to breathe properly with any of them, and the dentists would shrug with confusion because my airways looked clear, and then I wouldn't wear the orthotics. Dr. Mason had me try a jaw/headache pain treatment called TruDenta, and like most other things, it has been failing to help the issues. (Not done yet, but I'm not holding my breath.) I was not especially surprised. What did surprise me... is that Dr. Mason, upon hearing that TruDenta wasn't working, proceeded to call up an orthopedic surgeon and orthodontist, show them the CT head scan she'd done of me (free! with the first visit! amazing!), and consult at length to figure out what the problem was. They had actual insights about what might be causing the chronic pain. Scientific insights! And they're doing a much longer meeting to figure out what course of treatment will actually address these issues. I am a little floored. I have never had a dentist do research on my behalf, or come up with ideas of where to go once their own experience ran out. I am amazed in the best possible way, and I highly recommend Dr. Mason as a dentist. read more

I had a bad toothache, my neighbor recommended this dental office. I tried to make an appointment there, the receptionist Jean said that we are all booked up, but I will give you a call when we have an opening. I never heard back from them. After a week, I went back there again, I asked why I never heard back from her, she said "oh I forgot, we're still full". My neighbor went there for an emergency, & they saw her that same day. Dr Mason and her staff are very nice. I came here for a check up and cleaning and were very gentle with me, letting me know each step of the process. I was scheduled to get some work done but unfortunately I started working full time and don't have the time to come in during their business hours. I really wish that they had some occasional Saturdays open or closed later in the day on some days, but I understand that they also need a life. Since they don't have weekends I'm looking for a new dentist that is opened on the weekends. Dr Manson's staff has gone above and beyond communicating with me and also emailing me my x-rays. I recommend Dr Mason as a dentist, and hopefully in the future they'll offer some weekend hours. read more

Dr. Mason and her hygienist Noreen and their whole staff have always treated me like family .I love going to get a cleaning or check -up or even some work done. I grew up being scared of god omg to the dentist and had bad experiences in my past . I don't have that experience when going to Dr.Mason's office they always make me feel safe and comfortable. They always find ways to make their patients comfortable by asking if you would like water or tea, they have pillows and blankets if your cold or need a pillow under your neck, they provide magazines or music to relax you and take your mind off of things and Nitrous which helps me relax and not think about things . I love it there and look forward to my next appointment in September. Guess what? I finally met Dr. Mason. Lets include the other I spoke with the wonderful lovely Filipino for the first time and her name is, if I spell her name correctly Mabel. I let Mabel that I needed to use the restroom first. Please remember that I have the name for the unisex restroom of Edonica. The restroom is fancy pants and super duper clean. There is even a snazzy jazzy bottle which happens to be Listerine. Let us get down to the nitty gritty, no one likes going to the dentist. The firsrt initial appointment is very long...2.5 hours. This office is 1 of the very few anywhere that does 3d imaging. Let us call her Joyful Jessica, she was my dental assistant. She was rockin and rollin. I had a great feeling from the beginning that I would be in excellent hands. One of the machines they use in this office is made in Germany. Jessica showed me the 3d images of the few teeth having trouble. I can't forget about the mini massage, that was great so Jessica is super awesome rad.Then Dr. Mason comes in to tell me a blonde joke, I love that Dr. Mason is. Also blonde. I have no doubt that I will be very well taken care of here. It also turns out that Dr. Mason and Jessica are both Christians. I broke a tooth a few weeks back and was in need of some emergency Dental work, after calling around to places that all i got was an answering machine I found Dr. Mason's name and number here and dialed and actually got a pleasant young lady who answered the phone, I explained what happened and got an appt that day to see Dr. Mason. When I got there and walked in I was greeted by a cheerful and friendly staff and I was seen within a few minutes, Dr. Mason took care of my broken tooth by placing a temp crown on it in record time. I wasn't there for long at all. Booked an appt for a New patient exam for the next day and a visit for my permanent crown before leaving. I have been there a total of 4 times so far with exceptional service every time so i can say Honestly that I have seen numerous Dentists over the years including the Navy Torture professionals they call Dentists and I have not seen a better Dentist since I was a kid in the middle 70s. Dr. Mason has been taking care of my teeth for almost four years now. Two crowns, one implant, Invisalign, more fillings than I care to admit, and the quality of care and attention has always been excellent. Everyone in the office is friendly and accommodating, Heidi's been great about working with me on financing (in case your dental coverage sucks as badly as mine does), Jean is fantastic with scheduling, payments, and everything else she does, and all of the techs and hygienists are just awesome. Dr. Mason herself is just as friendly and caring and attentive as you would expect after seeing how she staffs her office, and on a technical note, when she says pain-free, it is literally zero pain. I have a habit of napping in the chair during procedures, that's how pain-free it is. Can't recommend them highly enough, I wish there were more than just five stars. read more
