Do not buy a car from Fox Chevy in Auburn New York I went in to buy a new car and they talked me into a Nissan rogue SV which I'm happy with I love the car but the issue is is the problems with the car now where to begin. The car was in service so I didn't really get a chance to look at the car before purchasing which is absolutely my fault I'll take fault for that but I was told the car is an excellent shape great car and I have tons of warranties mechanical warranties I have interior warranty and exterior and this is where the problem begins. After inspecting the car after I send all the paperwork like a moron because I should have looked at the car beforehand but it was in service and I went on their word which is another mistake I went to pick up the car and noticed that the hood of the car was rock chipped to hell awful so I was told that I had some sort of interior and exterior warranty that would cover that there's a first issue. Secondly the front driver seat has like three rips in it and it's peeling The seat is falling apart and I was told I have a warranty that would cover a new seat so I go through the warranty process and it's denied. Come to find out I actually do not have a warranty for exterior or interior The warranty only covers cleaning covers nothing else I do have a mechanical warranty thank God but I was lied to by the dealership and we have been fighting for probably 2 weeks now to get the seat fixed and the rock chips fixed on the hood well low and behold this dealer ship is a joke so I am now with seats that are peeling in a hood that looks like garbage. My sales manager is to the point now where I'm stressing her out so bad that she will not call me or answer any of my messages she has completely blocked me pretty much and when I went in there the other day they said they're going to fix the seat but they're going to make her pay for it which is not her problem and on top of that it's not going to be a new seat they're going to patch it basically. Don't make the mistake I did folks Don't go to Fox Chevy or any Fox. This would be the last car I ever buy from this company they are a joke and they lie and when you try to get a hold of your sales rep or anybody else they ignore you I made a mistake and now I have to pay for it. read more

The service is awful and if you would like your car to sit there for a month, this is what you will get. Do yourself a huge favor and take your vehicle anywhere else. I mean that. Not sure what happened here. I made my appointment a month ago and get the quote on my snow tires. I get to my appointment this morning, 15 minutes before they open so I'm first in line, and I go sit in the waiting room. An hour later, they come out to tell me that they can't change my tires today because they only have 2 of them. Like they didn't just have a month to order them for me. But then their offer is to just put other snow tires on my truck, but they're more expensive by a good bit. Okay, I'll bite. Get it over with, right? Well I'm still wondering when my truck will be done over 7 hours later. Wtf... Long story short, they had a month to have my tires ready and they didn't bother. And when I said okay to getting more expensive tires instead, they don't even push it through ASAP. But hey, I'm just a customer that'll never come here, or to any Chevy dealership ever again because of this BS. Thanks for nothing. read more

I believe this is under new ownership and I wish it wasn't. What a terrible experience from start to finish. Then a month later I get a call about my review and I get yelled at and orderEd to believe there story and tol how my experience was absolutely wrong. Why ? Would you call me about my review if your only going to yell at me about how wrong I am. I thought the entire system was set up so that you learn from your customers and try to do better. I couldn't even get a word in while I was yelled at like I was a child lol. I bet they go far and stay open for a long time with service like that. I went on the summit chevy website on Sunday 7-23 and they were advertising the 2017 Equinox I wanted at $20918. I sent 2 e-mails referencing the vehicle stock number and sale price and was told it was still available. I got a car loan and down payment ready and went in for a scheduled test drive and was told...oh no that's not the price...there was a computer glitch. This was a total bait and switch scam so beware. I'm never doing business with them UPDATE: Summit called me to come in and talk....they gave me a fantastic deal and apologized for the pricing problem...they made good after all...salesman Joe Corp made it happen..thank you. read more

Absolute worst experience with an auto dealership , first I went to the Ford Summit dealership , had issues from day one with a preowned certified Ford Truck. Had to bring it back several times, stated I did not want the truck, they wouldn't work with me or do anything at all. Went across the street and took a beating getting rid of their Ford for a Chevy and when I had issues with the Chevy, they tried to screw me on the repair costs and didn't replace the parts THEY stated were bad ! Don't buy their extended service plans ,they don't cover a damn thing ! It cost us $3200.00 for less than a year ! read more

I've purchased many vehicles from this establishment prior to them being Summit and under the new ownership. My first disappointment was when they sold me a warranty and didn't tell me that there was a deductible and when it was time to repair the vehicle, nothing was covered and they had to have a rep come inspect and authorize repairs. I recently went in for an inspection, emissions passed, however they wouldn't pass the safety portion and stated I needed over 3K in repairs. After I told them I will not have the work done, they still charged me for labor. This was never discussed upon dropping off the vehicle or when I told service I will not have it repaired. Serious, never in my life have I paid for a mechanic to tell me what is wrong with my vehicle. I took the vehicle to a different auto body shop, which stated, nothing was broken on the vehicle and there were no safety concerns not to pass inspection. I will not be back. I will not purchase a vehicle from them again. read more

Cars are overpriced, tried to negotiate being closer to Rochester and not having quality Buick-GMC dealerships but hearing so much about this place. Employees seemed more interested in financing us to a low rate from a local bank (which we didn't mind) but was more concerned about securing a good deal and a warranty after what my husband went through. Ended up walking away because the price just wasn't right for the SUV we were looking at. Glad we did, ended up finding better deals closer to home! read more

Purchased my Jeep Wrangler on 3/16/18 from said dealer, was towed back same day three hours later. Tom Carter, Service Manager has denied my Lemon Law repairs. We recently purchased our second vehicle from Summit Chevrolet Buick. The sales staff is extremely professional and easy to work with. Particularly Randy Pilot who is adept at handling the process both on and off line. I am also in sales and have an appreciation for the negotiation process. Summit is very fair and professional in this regard. The dealership itself is spotless and the service center extremely clean and efficient. I wish 0 was an option! I put a $1,000 down on a 2017 Yukon Denali- keep in mind I signed nothing. After thinking, I decided not to buy it... I texted my salesman (will disclose name if asked) and told him I no longer want the vehicle. He texted me that he could not cut me a check as only an owner was allowed to sign a check (on 1/26/18) and 1 would not be in until Monday. Keep in mind that check should never have been cashed until the deal was finalized! I gave them the benefit of the doubt and waited until today(Monday 1/29/18). The salesman texted me they were giving him a hard time about refunding my money... Do I have proof they cashed my check!!!! Are you kidding me!!! Yes I do! Only after not being able to get a hold of the branch manger and getting NO where from the salesman; Sam got involved and had a check cut for me. Moral of the story, they are crooks!!! You deserve RESPECT take your money else where where you will be treated with respect!!! Bill Rapp will give you that respect!!! So much for shopping local! read more

I've purchased a few vehicles from this dealership with positives experiences but I was extremely disappointed this evening when I drove from Syracuse to auburn to look at a car to have the salesman treat me poorly and would not let me look at a vehicle or test drive it. I've never been treated so poorly and left in tears. I was treated like the salesman believed I could not afford the vehicle that I was interested in and I was an inconvenience to him. It was horrible here, go somewhere else if you'd like to be treated with respect. read more

My service was quick - approx. 3 hours, but the price was ridiculous. For 3 hours, I was charged $291 labor. Maybe if the bill had a breakdown of the labor instead of just a total billed, it would make sense. read more
