I brought my car to Glisson's for an oil change a few weeks ago. Yesterday, I was driving (long…read moredistance) and started smelling burning. I pulled into a gas station and found the oil was basically empty. I was surprised, as the oil change was so recent. I inspect further and find the oil filter has a major gash in the corner ... with oil stains around the gash. I add 2 quarts of oil and watch the filter. Sure enough, a drop of oil starts to form on the gash, eventually dripping. My question is: how could this have happened? The gash was way too big and obvious to not be noticed (on the edge where you grip w your hand). Did they knowingly install an obviously damaged oil filter? If so, why?? One theory (and this is only a guess, but I'm otherwise struggling to hypothesize a reason to give Glisson the benefit of the doubt here) -- I remember when I brought my car to them, I was under the weather, so as a courtesy to make sure I didn't spread whatever I had, I wore an N95 mask. The person at the shop looked at me weird like I was their political nemesis, so I explained that I was wearing it bc I was under the weather and didn't want to infect anyone else, but that didn't seem to change their disposition at all. Again, this is just a guess, but I truly cannot fathom why they would have installed a visibly obviously damaged oil filter on my car. (If someone can provide a valid hypothesis, I will delete this review.) Either way, my engine may have extensive damage due to driving without oil to the point it started burning. Arrggghhh.

MARK YOUR TIRES!! I…read morewent in on Monday 9/9 to have routine service done. The following Friday, I noticed that although I paid for a tire rotation, it wasn't done. When I called with the issue they asked me how I knew the tires weren't rotated. I told them that I ran over a nail about 5 weeks ago and installed a patch kit on the right rear tire and it was still there (if the tires had been rotated the tire with the plug in it wouldn't still be in the right rear position). The receptionist said that she needed to talk to the manager who wasn't there, but took my name and said he would call me back. I didn't hear anything so I called back on Monday morning and spoke to Breanne. She said she would take my name and someone would call me back. Again, I didn't hear anything so I called back on Tuesday, twice, and spoke to Jasmine and Dana. They said would take my name and that someone would call me back. I told Dana that I've been waiting 3 days for someone to call me back because each time I've been told the manager wasn't there but they would give him my message. I asked who "him" was and they said "Jamie". I still haven't heard anything, my tires are still not rotated, and I'm out the money. I'll be taking my business elsewhere, including my next lease. The repairs were perfect. The big surprise was the credit card, long lost, left on the seat with a note "found by the Detail Team" Quite Awesome. Also discovered by the Detail Team was my girlfriend's litle purse of Bar Chips (multiple) under the seat. Missing for 18 months.
