I spent $1700 fixing my A4. Once the repairs were completed I drove it home and it broke down. I was able to get it back to the shop as I rolled in their parking lot. Not only did they charge me again to inspect it, they at least gave a 50%off the inspection fee, they told me it would be an additional $3,000. I'm not even going to get started about them breaking my power window switch and failing to tell me. Thankfully the technician owned up to it and they replaced the switch. Had I known it was going to cost $4,700 to "fix" my car then I would never drove it there. It now sits in my yard and I am unable to drive it. I do not recommend this business! read more

Get a very knowledgeable person who is patient and knows about the cars you are interested in. I texted them ahead a few days so they would know what I was looking at and be ready. They showed me other comparable options which I appreciated. I test drive a number of cars and finally made a decision. If you are buying "As is" definitely take to a mechanic before buying. Made a scheduled visit to Audi Greenville yesterday. For my A6, the visits made fall under the category of scheduled maintenance. Yesterday was different. The check brake light started to appear intermittently. I also wanted a look at a slow leak. Yesterday's experience was consistent with all visits to Audi Greenville. The service team was expecting me at the scheduled time. The service advisors were very courteous. The waiting area was comfortable with plenty of current magazines and a huge wide screen TV. The courtesy bar was well stocked with peanuts, cookies, pastries and complimentary Starbucks coffee. After confirming a need for brake pad replacement, the service advisor offered me the use of a loaner A6. The service time was projected at 3 hours. The loaner was quite nice and enabled me to cross a few items off my errand and "To Do" list. Greg, my advisor well illustrated the customer centric focus of Audi Greenville. He always does. My vehicle was ready at the time stated. My car was freshly washed and the service provided was reviewed in detail. If you're considering a new vehicle, this dealership might suit you. But if it's a used car you're after, I advise looking elsewhere. This dealership sold me a faulty car, costing me nearly $25,000 within half a year. My decade-long experience with six Audis never left me in such a financial predicament until I interacted with this dealership. I have since chosen to proceed with Mercedes or BMW. In December 2022, I purchased an Audi S7 with about 82,000 miles. Despite my requests to have the vehicle inspected by my local mechanic, the salesperson, Ashlea, assured me of the superior quality of their cars. They offered me an unfamiliar "SWAG" warranty and inspection paperwork attesting the car's pristine condition given its age and mileage. Within 48 hours, I was back at the dealership addressing multiple issues including engine mount error codes, malfunctioning back seat AC, poor paint and wrap quality, scratched passenger window, and misrepresented audio features. Shortly after dropping the vehicle for repairs, I learned of additional control arm issues, culminating in a repair bill of ~$5,000 within just 200 miles of ownership. Distrusting the dealership, I had the car inspected by my local mechanic. By February 2023, more problems surfaced - shot axles, a missing engine heat shield, poor rear repaint, and a non-OEM exhaust, all amounting to nearly $9,800 in parts and labor within the first three months. By March, the car's transmission began faltering. It jerked in reverse, stalled at idle, and couldn't shift into 2nd, 4th, or 6th gear. The diagnosis suggested a clutch, mechtronic, or transmission issue, potentially requiring a $17,000 transmission replacement, after already having spent ~$12,000 on repairs for a car hardly worth $20,000. I later found out about a class-action lawsuit against Audi for these exact DL transmissions in the S7/S6, a fact omitted during my purchase. The dealership response to my plight was unhelpful unless I considered buying a new vehicle over $90K. To put it mildly, this dealership should pay more attention to its used car inspections to avoid selling subpar vehicles. While the sales rep pocketed their pre-Christmas commission, I bore the financial fallout. I've acquired 35 "AUDI GREENVILLE SUCKS" t-shirts for distribution at the next Cars and Coffee event. P.S., I bought an RS7 at another dealership, which even replaced engine mounts and brake rotors before purchase - a far cry from selling ticking time bombs. This concerns the Service Department. I used to get great service from Audi. Not anymore. At 144,487m, I took my Q7 in for the 145.000m check. $439.31 later, I drove away...thinking I was prepared for a long planned drive to Virginia. Not the case. At 145,680m, I became stranded on a country road at 10:30pm with a car that would not accelerate. Three days and $2,094.73 later, after being towed 40m away, I found out that my diesel exhaust system had broken down. Is that not detectable by that service check? Also, I found out that there was no AdBlue in my engine...doubtful that it had been topped off, as documented, at the service check. Now, today, at 148,821m, before another road trip, I find out that my oil is non-existent, "thick as sludge," and I need a new filter...all of which was also documented in my service report as being done. Doubtful, again. I don't know what is up with the service that I received but I am not a happy customer. read more

He apologized for the delay in calling me back and offered for me to come in for an inspection of my vehicle, which I accepted. From check in to check out, everyone seemed really friendly. My Audi A4 was the subject of TWO lawsuits against Audi. One was for the car burning oil at an alarming rate which resulted in Audi rebuilding my engine and replacing the pistons. The second was for a timing chain defect. In all my Audi has had 6 problems and over $10,000 in repairs. They have been: excessive oil consumption (rebuild done by Audi as part of lawsuit settlement), a new turbocharger, a new AC system, new control arms, a new timing chain and tensioners, and a new high pressure fuel pump. Audi did not cover my timing chain issue because I was over 100,000 miles. I believe the timing chain issue to be related to the oil consumption defect and rebuild, however this dealer did nothing to help me. Audi does not make a quality product nor stand behind their product quality unless they are sued as per my experience. I passionately do not recommend an Audi to anyone. read more

I took my car into Audi of Greenville with issues with my car leaking coolant. They told me that I needed a water pump and thermostat. This is 2022. They just replaced my water pump in 2020. I'm sorry you shouldn't have to replace your water pump every 2 years, unless maybe you produce over priced hunks of junk. Then two advisors tell you two different stories about their repair ethics. One says that they replace both the water pump and thermostat anytime one goes bad. The other says that they only replace what goes bad and that the two are not .replaced as a unit. After 8 years driving BMW I changed to an Audi Q7. Leased through the Enterprise Fleet Management. In the 7 month I had to wait for my vehicle neither company had a clue about the status nor the delivery times. Phone called have not been returned. I went to the dealership 3 times and am sitting here right now writing this message. Half an hour in, the sales manager and Owner still did not manage to come out to even say hello and I am sitting right in front of his office. The car better be great. Maybe it has to do with the lease through Enterprise and the dealership does not make a ton of Money on this deal. To begin...this is a review for Audi of Greenville. We have owned Volvo's for as long as I can remember. We have bought 3 of the XC90's in the last 10 years and really were excited for the new model. However the local dealership really jerked us around after we placed a significant down payment.
