I suspected it was a dead battery, opted for a $10 diagnostic check. The person who helped me, (Tsu) was so kind and helpful, I left my phone in my car, called them and he retrieved it, and called us, and held it until I got back. The service manager, (Randy), called me this morning, confirmed the battery needed replacing, and gave a price that included 50$ off. He let me know there was an additional problem with the steering. A tire rod needed attention. I am single and need a well functioning vehicle. I opted for that service and he added another 50$ off due to the cost of that additional service. I could not be happier with my treatment and the ease of this process. They fulfilled every promise they made, and the repair has a year's warranty. The battery comes with a 3yr warranty. On the front end I went there on my daughter's recommendation, and it was the closest repair service to my breakdown. We took out Honda Civic here for a brake job. They did not know how to fix it but tried. some of the components were not reconnected correctly. The car was acting up so we took it into the Honda dealership. They said that the brake job was done incorrectly. We went back to ask Firestone about it and They said it was not their problem. They don't know how to fix Honda, Toyota, or other imports. Their techs are not well trained. Don't take your car here! They may not be able to fix it, they will still try, and then they will not stand behind it. read more

Stopped in on a Thurs morning. My car needs a new door actuator as my door will not shut. Driving around holding my door so it doesn't fly open while I drive. The manager could have the part available in the afternoon And charging $550 to complete the work ( part on Amazon is $75) that would take an hour to complete. I scheduled to return at 4:30 sine they are open until 7 pm and have them install it. I returned, and the manager was gone. To replace a valve stem in a tire that was leaking I was less than a quarter of a mile away they told me I had to make an appointment for the next day so having my tire go flat on me I had to call roadside service and everybody knows what that cost. Wouldn't recommend them to fix nothing on anybody's car. read more

In the tire business it's all about the hours, and Firestone is open earlier and later than any shop in town. My tires have a habit of getting nails and flats on my early morning commute or late in the afternoon and Firestone has been super helpful. The waiting room is pretty basic though. I wish they had a way to mute the TV. read more

Our engine light came on after a series of bad noises and our car violently shaking, we headed to the firestone to see if they could check it out so we make it back safe on a very long trip, they decided to tell us us it closes at FIVE, mind you it was 3:55 at the time and we were denied service and told to come back Monday. If you need repairs in Greenville, go to the Firestone on Haywood instead, they stayed past closing just to make sure we were safe. read more

I'm a little in shock.... tried to get an oil change at 4:40pm. All the techs were sitting at one of the bay doors on the ground chatting. I rolled the car window down asking if they did oil changes. He said, "yeah. But we're about to close..." I said, "At 5, right? "Yeah. We can't do it now. It will take about 40 minutes...." And then just stares at me.... as if to say, now go away please.... No other cars in the bay. 5 employees sitting around on the ground not doing anything. So if an oils change takes 40 minutes at this place, skip it. Even if they didn't have lazy employees. I had to replace my tires within the warranty period and that really surprised me and my husband. We don't really drive my car that much that the tires would tear off quickly so we decided to go to Firestone on Woodruff Rd to get them replaced. The manager was very accommodating. He said these tires were recalled and he would replace them for free. He just charged us for the service and did a good job in replacing the tires for us. The garage looked pretty busy for a Sunday. He got my car ready within 2 hours. I would definitely recommend this place for small issues related to the car. read more

Don't go to this Firestone store !! Went for an oil change Labor Day - 9/2/19. They said my battery was bad. I suspected something wasn't right because I knew the battery wasn't old. Took my Tahoe by Advance Auto in Duncan SC, and they guy checked it out and said "your negative terminal was very loose, and you had some corrosion on the positive terminal". The tightened the negative and clean off the corrosion, and said "drive it a day or so and let me recheck it". Went to get it rechecked on 9/4/19, and he said the battery was fine. I called Firestone Monday before Thanksgiving to request an appointment to check for a nail in my tire (i thought I had a leak). My appointment was Tuesday at 5pm which I showed up to on time. Rick was the manager at the desk and he seemed aggrivated at me. He asked for my name which I said my first name. He kept asking and saying I wasn't in the appointment list and I may be at the wrong store. After a minute of hearing him tell me I was wrong, I said my first and last name. then he says, "oh, you were supposed to tell me both. That's how we do our appointments." I apologized and he responds with "yea, you should have just told me your last name and it would have been fine". Okay, my bad. He tells me it's going to take a few hours. I said, "that's fine. Whoever made my appointment said it was less than an hour because it's a flat repair." He said "well, I'm not sure why, but that's not true. That takes awhile and we only have 2 techs here. Are you going to wait?" I said, "yes, I will just walk to target and look around". Then he says, "well just an hour then. You should have just told me you were waiting. That's different." I said okay and left. When I came back an hour later, he told me that there was nothing wrong with my tire and there was no reason for me to bring it by. I said "okay just checking because I filled the air twice and I'm going out of town tomorrow. Just trying to be safe." He responds with "well I understand but there was no leaks when you got here so there's nothing I can do. The light is gone now so it should be fine." I'm aggrivated because the whole conversation he just wanted to be right instead of showing good customer service. Good customer service is understanding the customer and trying to make them happy. I had no attitude with him; I just came for my appointment and left aggrivated because of Rick's attitude. The Firestone in simpsonville is WAY better with nicer techs and manager. read more

Thank you to Shayne! We had two tires replaced at a different Firestone but they apparently "forgot" to balance the tires. We were on our way from Charlotte back home to Atlanta, and had to stop here because the car didn't feel right. Shayne took the car in as soon as we got there and had us out in under 30 minutes. The staff was able to move us to the front of the line to make sure we could get our child and 3 dogs back in the car and back on the road. read more

We needed 4 new tires and I have to say- Sarah and Michael were amazingly professional, helpful and patient with us. We had lots of questions and concerns, due mostly to a previous negative Firestone experience elsewhere, but we left this location with a much more positive impression. Sarah was awesome and down-to-earth, and obviously knew what she was talking about. Sarah gave us an approximate timeline for our tire mounting, and the "ready" call came right around the exact time she told us it would. Very impressed. Michael and Sarah both showed excellent customer service skills, and we will return here for future needs. I'll be honest, I was a little apprehensive to take my '03 Ford to a chain auto care place. However, since I had just moved to the area, I was in dire need for an oil change and tire rotation. I decided to check this place out and I am SOOOO glad I did. This place is incredible. I was blown away by the quick turnover, the service, and the friendliness of this Firestone, As a female college student, I was worried about being taken advantage of. So, I went to Firestone a week ago due to my tire going flat. They said maybe someone let your air out because the tire looks fine. Drove it 15 miles then went out of town. Came back and tire was flat and messed up because during the 15 mile travel, the air came out. Did not notice this when it was dark and the car drove fine. Came back from my trip and explained that I was there a week ago. The tire was completely messed up and the tire was in excellent condition before. Had to purchase a new tire because they overlooked the nail and the technician this time said idk how this was not seen. I did not receive a sorry or a discount from their carelessness. Also, I made an appointment and apparently these do not matter. It still took an hour and a half for them to replace one tire. I will only return for my free tire rotations. I was a long time customer but not anymore. They are about speed when checking cars and that is all. read more

Had a couple of tires and a TPMS put on a little while ago. The 'Mechanic' who installed these scratched the hell out of my wheel and left white grease all over them. Didn't even try to wipe them down. After I got home I cleaned them with a microfiber towel and noticed the deep scratches, however I didn't take pictures before hand so I knew it would be my word against theirs. I took my car in for an alignment after talking with Ben over the phone. I know BMW's can be difficult to work on because I do most of my own maintenance and also read a good bit about the things that I don't do myself. I had my car aligned at a BMW dealership about 6-8 months ago when I got new tires and they were not able to get it fully in spec. Your Firestone tech Matt not only came out to confirm what I wanted but he also set up the car proper with all the ballasts which impressed me immediately. In between my conversations with Matt and Ben I had periodic conversations with other employees that were all very easy to talk to and made my trip very enjoyable. When Matt pulled my car up I checked over the sheet and It was absolutely perfect within a degree or so which I have never seen done before on any of the 3 BMW's I've owned.
