He was able to negotiate a deal that worked for us, took care of registration and insurance in record time, provide us with a spotless new car and spent lots of time training us on the tech and answering all questions. He was easy to communicate with (even on late evenings) and went over and above to make us feel as though we were the only customers that mattered. Beware of SCAMS with this service team. Audi Mohegan Lake is running a racket. They charge you for work that they're not doing. My car was towed into the nearest Audi dealer with faults. The car is 2 years old and should be covered under warranty. They claim that the gas was contaminated with water. They provided a photo and said it was 80% water. That they had to drain the fuel tank, replace filters and clean all the lines, which took several hours of work over 3 days. None of this was covered under warranty and it cost several thousand dollars to repair. This was a SCAM!!! It is impossible to drive the car on 80% water. My car was on empty and I put 1/4 tank in and 30 minutes later the car broke down. If the fuel was 80% water it would not have driven for 30 minutes. They didn't know I had just fueled up. I contacted the DEEP who sent a crew to the gas station and they confirmed there was 0% water in the fuel. They tested back 6 cycles. The service team was yelling at me asking why I would do such a thing. They did not charge for fuel or parts and the exact same amount of fuel was in the car when it went into the shop and when it was picked up, proven by data from the Audi app. I immediately drove my car to another Audi service center who confirmed that they did not do the work they charged me for. The fuel filters were old and the lines had fuel residue in them. I requested the diagnostic report for my car upon pick up and the second Audi dealer said that the work they charged me for was unnecessary based on the diagnostic report and fuel contamination was not the cause. The service rep told me that Audi Mohegan Lake has had several customers with this same issue, often up to 20 a week, as it was very common, but upon further investigation, and no other car dealer in the area has encountered this issue. No other gas stations in the area report fuel contamination. Clearly they're running a scam. Photo of what they sent me as the cause of my car needing thousands of dollars worth of repairs not covered under warranty. I had a lease set up in Palm Springs but I moved to Hudson-- resubmitted all the paperwork work and was given a similar deal. Fine, right? I didn't want to rent a car, just lease right away, so we submitted our full credit app prior to going there. They even said they'd even give me a loaner car because my leased vehicle was being unwrapped. But guy who put together the deal was gone and they wanted a new credit app. Hard pull #2 in 24 hours. And They turned him away with no car. No help with two $100 Uber rides to the dealership. A whole day lost. I brought my car here for servicing and to check on the engine light and ended up leaving my car there for 10 days without them telling me anything or getting any updates and without having my car fixed after I picked up my car . Terrible place to try to buy a car. Wish I had the opportunity to buy a car but I never even got that far. Went to look at a car and they couldn't find it. Went back against and I couldn't drive it. Went back with my husband walked into the dealership and NOT ONE salesperson even said hello. NO one came up to us. They were all sitting around. In fact the young man I dealt with when I first inquired about the car saw me and couldn't be bothered to get up and help us. We went outside and wandered trying to find the car and couldn't . The ONLY person that helped us with a gentleman from the service department who stopped and asked if we needed help and we told him yes and how we were ignored. He then went in to tell them we were outside and the sales loan that he spoke to said have them come in it's nicer inside. They NEVER came out. The service man came by again moving a car and asked if we were helped and we said no and to let them know we left. Off course I received a call from the manager apologizing for the poor service. I told him I will drive to NJ before I buy a car from them and his response was it's ok if you don't buy from us but don't buy from NJ because of the lemon law. My husband has been on hold twice now. The first time was for 25 minutes. He was transferred between 3 different employees. Upon the third person, the employee said he would go check. Left the phone on and started bad mouthing another employee to a co worker. Then suddenly my husband was on hold again. 25 minutes later no one picked up. My husband hung up and called again. This time he went between two people. And was again put on hold for another 10 minutes. All we wanted to know is if our car was done being serviced. It is the day before Thanksgiving and we had to borrow a car because our only vehicle was dropped off at 9:30 AM and was still not done at 2:30 PM. Do not purchase a car from this dealership!!! Their customer service is terrible. They don't care about their clients. I purchased my car in June 2022. In October 2023 my car started smoking. Brought it in in November 2023, they said it was fixed..it started smoking again..then had to wait until January 2024 before I can bring it in because they didn't have a loaner.and my car was smoking with my kids in the car...In January the car stopped smoking but then started smoking again in March..had to bring it back again...in April 2024...this time they told me that the part for the car was on backorder until May 26 and that I can leave my car on their lot..When I got the call in May 15 that the car was ready..I told Mac that I wanted the car to test driven before I picked it up..On May 17..i picked up the car and immediately when I got in the car there was a foul odor, the parking brake sensor was flashing..and the sensor on the dashboard said.."parking brake defective". I drove the car for a few miles..on the parkway and experienced an inability to stop the car and steer the car...I retuned the car right away to the dealership and told him what the issue was...they kept the car and then called me on Monday..May 20 and told me that the car had been infested with MICE!!!! and that they had chewed the wires...and because of this I now would have to go through my insurance to get the car fixed...I told Mac that the car was on their lot and therefore they should fix the car...he said that they don't have a mice problem because they have cats...my car is completely damaged and MAC the service manager..is refusing to take ownership of it...BEWARE!!!!!!! if my car has mice in the car from sitting at their dealership for several weeks..that means that other cars could have mice in them as well.. and they won't take an responsibility for it.. DO NOT USE. Terrible customer service. First I left my car there for an oil change, when I got there the next morning the lot was completely opened & my car UNLOCKED! It was left all night unlocked for anyone to go into & steal or take anything out of it. First I was told "it's left unlocked in case it needs to be moved" well that makes ZERO sense to me as you need a key to start it you can simply hit the button to unlock it. Then by the next person I was told "I'm so sorry, this never happens we always lock the doors there would be no reason to leave unlocked". This person then took pictures of the inside & out to document any damages or missing items for me in case something was stolen. The BEST part of my whole experience was my baby's car seat was unlocked & moved! A recall had to be done on the passenger side so they had to move stuff, but I was never advised about moving the baby's seat! Thank goodness I didn't take the baby for a walk w me to pick up the car because I would've had no way to put her safely in her seat. To my own fault my husband usually does this for me so I never learned how. Thank goodness I didn't have to learn at 7:30 am Saturday morning and chance putting her unsafely in her seat!!They claim to "protect & sanitize" your car before you pick it up. ZERO was done to my car. I have the photos of hand & thumb prints all over it, so how was it wiped down?? It was not! I left that morning with my car & a promise to be called by the manager & technician on Monday....that was 3 weeks ago Do not use this place, it's awful and they obviously just don't care about your car or personal belongings. read more

Where do I even begin? As someone who has leased and own HIGHER & WAY MORE EXPENSIVE cars than an Audi I've NEVER experienced the type of SCAM they tried to pull on me here. I was leasing a 35k BASE Audi A3 as a secondary car for myself as well as my Nanny to use to drive my son to & from school. The way my mother & I were treated was Upsurd & upsetting. Unfortunately one of their employees got the wrath of us and that was not fair to her because she's just doing what the SCUM tell her Everything was fine at first it was still over priced for an A3 but I understand how the car industry is since covid. I put my deposit and was going to sign & pick up the car Saturday with OUT paying anything more because i paid the down payment during the week to make it quick and simple . It was a DONE DEAL. I show up Saturday waited an HOUR because even though I had an APPOINTMENT my sales rep MADE HIMSELF he had another customer ok fine it happens. After an hour of waiting I'm told they made a mistake on the insurance card they did on FRIDAY HAHA made a mistake on the insurance card that they post dating from Friday to Saturday how did you not notice YOUR MISTAKE ? Fine no big deal right super annoying to wait for an hour and 45 minutes on a Saturday bc of their own mistake. While waiting for the insurance to be fixed I kept asking to sign the paperwork because I wanted to get out of there. Couldn't be done till they fixed the insurance .. lol OK well didn't understand why until the finance girl who walks you through signing everything had me SIGN EVERYTHING & then proceeded to tell me i owe another "fifteen fifteen" $15? I said ? No 1,500.15 for what reason? I already put down the down payment for EVERYTHING. Then go proceed to tell me Idn wtf I'm talking about and when was the last time i leased a car ? I don't blame this young girl because that's what they do they get these young girls to deal with their scams it's not fair to her or the customer. AFTER a whole bunch of nonsense this poor woman going back and forth dealing with my aggravated attitude bc I'm getting scammed comes back and tells me her general manager said no problem will keep the deal as it is ( AKA AS IT WAS BEFORE YOU TRIED TO SCAM ON A BASE MODEL A3) and will throw in a free oil change at this point I've been ready to walk out based on the fact these people are bullshit artists and can't seem to get their work in order or set the entire thing up because the SALES REP didn't say ANYTHING ABOUT THAT EXTRA 1500 because it's over paying lol .. then to say it was a big misunderstanding UMMM NO just a big scam pretty much. I bought my A4 from Mohegan Lake Audi and have had every service and oil change performed by them. My A4 started needing oil every 1000 miles and Mohegan Lake Audi tried to convince me that it is "normal" In fact Audi does put that in its owners manual!. I have had many many cars and never added oil every 1000 miles. I now add oil every 750 miles and Mohegan Lake Audi tells me to take it up with Audi USA. This is after they had me spend $500 on this problem and now want me to spend an additional $2000. DO NOT BUY AN AUDI A4 UNLESS YOU WANT TO ADD OIL EVERY OTHER TIME YOU ADD GAS. MOHEGAN LAKE MOTORS DID NOT RESOLVE THIIS. I do like the A4 but not the part of having to drive around with a case of motor oil in the trunk. read more

I have purchased many cars over the past 18 years. This by far has been the absolute WORST experience ever. I purchase a Q5 Sportback. My sales associate Cole, told me I was not permitted to test drive the actual car that I was purchasing due to it being in the show room. So he assured me driving a regular q5 would suffice as it's basically the "same". Fine, I did as I was directed. I decided to go ahead and purchase the vehicle. The next day I come to pick the car up and aside from the fact it took over two hours to finalize everything even with me getting insurance done beforehand, this was still the least of my issues yet to come. I drove the car TWICE. Work and Store. it. I go to the supermarket with my 6 year old in the back and my husband on passenger. We leave the store and are about a mile away when in the middle of driving the car signals "steering wheel malfunction" "stop driving immediately!" I am now extremely nervous with nowhere to even pull over, I desperately try to pull as close to the side as possible without crashing. Before I can do anything my steering wheel locks and I cannot drive AT ALL! Three cars almost crashed! I had to call 911. The cop came and helped us finally get out of the dangerous situation we were stuck in for almost 20 minutes. My daughter is petrified and crying. It's 100 degrees out, our groceries are rotting. Everything about this situation was unacceptable. I call Audi, they direct my to call roadside assistance. We wait about 4 hours for a tow to come! In the meantime I had multiple conversations with Audi Mohegan lake. First call is with Anthony Augusta GM, I explain I absolutely do not want this car. He assures me to relax that they will check it out and he will speak to service and get back to me as he's NEVER heard of this happening while driving. Then after a while of not hearing anything from them, I speak to Cole the salesman, who has zero empathy for the situation. He never once apologizes for any of it. He just blows me off and tells me he will have a manager contact me. No one contacts me for hours. I call back again and speak with cole explaining my concern and frustration. I explain I don't care what's wrong with the car we could have died and I don't feel safe! He says "it's not like exchanging a pair of pants" I say I gave you $7k down payment yesterday, this is not ok, I am willing to go into a different car even more expensive car but I do not want this one and he basically says the bank has your money it is what it is, you may not have a choice. I then tell him I no longer want to speak to him about it I need to speak to a a manager. He says someone will call you. A few min later he TEXTS me, my manager Anthony Tezzi is off today, he'll call tomorrow. I said I find it hard to believe not one manager is on site. He then says after a few min of back and forth that his Gm Anthony Augusta will call me shortly. I say ok, I'll come in! On my way to go there, I receive a call from Anthony Augusta stating they received the car they have to see what happened before any next steps can be taken. He used the same reference that it's not like returning a pair of pants. Which at this point is extremely frustrating because pants don't cost $65k! I agree to wait and hear from them in the morning but assure them I do not want the car back! I don't hear from anyone all morning. I left Anthony Tezzi a VM at this point after calling five times. Finally, he returns my call and tells me their was a faulty piece out of safety they are going to replace it and it should be ready for pick up sometime next week. I discuss how I can't understand how a car could pass inspection with something like that to be sold to us! He doesn't have an answer. He basically reiterates that I am stuck with the car. He refuses to help me! The car is 36 hours old but it's "used" now and I'm out of luck! They won't let me speak with the owner. I am horrified and now petrified to drive this car! I highly recommend you go elsewhere when considering your Audi purchase. They only care about the individual sale! read more

I have been a loyal Audi owner since 2007. Having experience with Lynbrook Audi and Biemer Audi (the worst!) I can affirm Mohegan Audi is quite possibly the best service center bar none. First, honesty in dealing. My husband told me I needed bearings but was unsure which side told me to just have the car checked - and see what the tech said - they were so accurate "your right bearings need repair now but your left have a little more to go before they should be replaced, about 5k miles!" Precise to within 100 miles. Let's talk customer service - from the gentleman who receives my car to my regular rep Mark to the beautiful ginger (she likes to be called "Red") who greets everyone with a smile - sincere service. Not to be overlooked, Mohegan is located in one of the safest areas nobody is trying to go in your car - I've left Ezpass, money and chargers they are all intact when I get my car. Occasionally they have not cleaned the car after service - truth- but I clean my car myself so I let it slide since the maintenance (which is why take the the car is top notch!) Four years a customer, take it from me Mohegan maintenance service is Premier service. read more

I am extremely disappointed with my first, and only, sales experience at Mohegan Lake Audi and would NEVER recommend.  In short, I called Mohegan Audi to inquire about a pre-owned Audi which was advertised on their website.  I was directed to Anthony, the Sales Manager, who provided me with vehicle details and was than put in contact with Anthony Tezzi, Salesperson.  After some discussion with Anthony Tezzi, I made an appointment to see and test drive the car.  Since this vehicle was the make, model and year that I had been searching for and after hearing the vehicle details, I was prepared, with cash, to purchase the car upon visit and review.  However, a few hours before our agreed upon meeting, Anthony Tezzi called to tell me that he had accepted a deposit from an out-of-town customer regardless of his commitment to me, and that the car was no longer available!! To add insult to injury in this case, I was told that the other customer was put ahead of me because they gave a deposit to "hold" the car despite the fact that this option was never offered to me!  I would have expected a courtesy phone call giving me the priority option of a "hold" deposit first. My overall customer experience with this dealership was unsatisfactory, to say the least! Bottom line, for anyone considering purchasing from an Audi dealer in the Tristate area, you may want to put Mohegan Lake Audi at the bottom of your list. Pass this along! read more
