An absolute disgrace of a company. Driving around at night to tow a car out of a parking lot that had other cars in it and were give permission by the restaurant across the street to use. My 23 year old son became stranded just off the Taconic Highway last night around 11 p.m. I live in Washington state so when my son phoned me saying his car had broken down, I was distraught. We were so fortunate that Valley Towing and Adam the driver and owner responded to my son's situation via AAA. I am forever grateful as Adam arrived before the 56 minutes AAA told us it would take. He transported my son's car and my son back to Poughkeepsie and not only tried to leave the car at the garage my son requested, but took him home when they found the garage closed. Battery was dead on our Prius. Called and Mike came sooner than expected and was very friendly and went out of his way to explain what he was doing and why. I especially liked that he and Catherine pushed to try jumping instead of towing as the jump would be cheaper. The jump worked and Mike gave us solid advice on what our options were - never trying to sell us anything. Felt like they really were there to serve, not see how much they could get out of us. Called for a tow thru AAA. Showed up and kept trying to offer a jump and sell me a battery. When I said the car was under warranty and I wanted it towed, the driver got nasty and took off, leaving me stranded. read more

The owner and drivers at Valley Towing are absolutely amazing. My husband and I unfortunately became stranded on the Taconic with our newborn baby on a holiday weekend. We were very frustrated with AAA and other towing companies in the area. Once Valley Towing got wind of our situation, they went above and beyond to ensure that we were safe, our car was taken to a convenient location, and that we eventually made It home. I cannot thank them enough! My entire family is eternally grateful for their quick jump into action, their kindness, and all the work they did to help us out. read more

I called AAA for a tow and Adam from Valley Towing showed up within the expected timeframe. He was pleasant and very helpful. When he got to the destination dealership, he called and told me he was there. Five minutes later, the dealership service department confirmed they received the car. This was my first dealing with VT but I will remember to tell family and friends about this experience. This experience was light years better than an lousy experience my son had a few years back with Top Notch up on Secor Road. Hope that owner is rotting in jail!! read more

As of 10-31-19 I am rewriting my review of this company, the owner stated he heard a tape of inappropriate language from me and this company and 100% not true at all, I was loud with adam because he left me stranded because I was not with my car that day although he was instructed to text or call me 10 mins before his arrival and that was on tape between his company and AAA and he failed to do so and AAA did not pay valley towing because of their breach.They were clearly in the wrong and they can leave you stranded too. Stay Away from this company. If the owner looked at his contract and really heard a tape of that call he would have found I was completely in the right and he should have reprimanded his employee adam and apologized to any customer that experienced that behavior so BEWARE who you are dealing with. If I could I would give a MINUS 5 star rating. read more

I called during yesterdays bad storm after an accident . The response time was excellent, as was the service and professionalism.

I called AAA for a battery jump. Valley towing ignored the the call. After 2 hrs in a cold car and missing my kids get off the school bus when they were 15 min away, available and knew where to find me I got a jumpstart. The tech that came out told me the other tech was too lazy to do the call and he eventually was sent out. I called and spoke with the manager who said it was a miscommunication with the call. The tech was sure what really happened and there was no miscommunication. read more

I had a minor billing discrepancy with Valley Towing. I called them up and reported the issue, the way I was spoken to was extraordinarily rude i was actually cursed and laughed at. I was told I would not be compensated for the $10 difference in billing. They said they have had a perfect track record for 30 years and that this would not hurt them. I had just had my car's transmission rebuilt that week. I live in Queens and have a dear friends who lives in Maopac, Putnam County and went up to visit her for the day. At 9:30pm when I attempted to start driving back home, my car was struggling to back-up and or drive...needless to say I was forced to call triple A and had to have my car towed back to my mechanic in Queens. Adam from Valley Towing came to my rescue at 1:00AM, he was very kind, helpful, informative and most importantly made me feel comfortable (being I was alone and it was late at night) on the ride back to Queens. We dropped off my car at my mechanic's shop and he was so kind to drive me home and insure I was safe. At Valley Towing they surely know how to give they customers some peace of mind and comfort during, very unpleasant, car breakdown situations. Thank you very much Adam and Valley Towing!!!
