The tow ITSELF was $400! $500 Recover fee for my wheel being popped off after the accident. $175 "admin fee" that they obviously couldn't give a clear answer for. $175 "yard fee", same explanation. $250 CLEANING FEE FOR BRAKE FLUID, $275/day to keep it in the tow yard, $180 in taxes, and some other charges I couldn't believe. I called expecting them to give no real answer as to why this pricing is absurdly high, likely because they'll just charge the insurance company who will then trickle it down to the driver. Bingo. Seems like it may be different if you go without insurance route (although his answer was "we wouldn't even tow it"), but I guarantee there's more ethical tows around, not hard to find.

It was frightening trusting a total stranger to help my daughters (early 20's) but having no other choice, had to trust the kind voice who told he he also had a daughter. He was there within a few minutes, towed their car to our preferred mechanic and even gave them a lift home since it was already past 3am by then and he was concerned for their safety / getting an Uber at that time in suburbs of NJ. He was professional the whole time, arrived on schedule, was easy to talk to, and clearly knew his job. His truck was clean and the equipment looked well-kept, which was important to me since my bike was already damaged and I wanted it handled with care. The first time was especially frustrating because they claimed the driver had arrived, when no one ever showed up. I was there waiting and never saw a tow truck or received proper communication from the driver. Then after hours of waiting, the tow was cancelled. State Farm tried dispatching them again, and once again I waited for hours just for them to cancel. Having car trouble is already stressful enough without a tow company repeatedly accepting a job they apparently cannot complete. If you cannot make it, just communicate that instead of leaving someone stranded for hours. After two separate incidents, I would not consider this company dependable at all.
