I had an OK but not wonderful buying experience at this dealership. Kimberly, the sales rep was really on top of being in touch and that's actually the reason I thought to reach out to her about a car that wasn't even listed at her dealership, but had been listed at their Upper Saddle River location. Unlike the sales rep at Jack Daniel's Audi of Upper Saddle River, she seemed motivated to make the sale work and the car was close to what I'd been looking for. She was definitely more attentive to me _before_ I'd made it clear that I wanted the car, and nicer to me before I'd given them a cash down payment for 1/3 of the sale price--before I'd committed so decisively she had offered to come pick me up in Manhattan to go look at the car but after I made the down payment she was like, "my lot guy will drop you at the Ferry," eh. Not a huge deal but the feeling was a bit off, I had just spent 23K at their dealership. Andy, the finance manager was attentive and clear and very good about being detailed with things like the warranty and tire insurance. It seems like he's honest and a decent guy. I couldn't really get a handle on Kimberly as she seemed to act differently to me than I saw her acting when she was in the finance manager's office--to me slightly avoidant and quick with details and glossing over things, to him she was talking more and gesticulating in his office, though I couldn't hear what she was saying but it felt a bit odd--were they hiding something from me, why was she acting reserved to me and animated toward him? I was hoping that buying a car from an Audi dealership I would avoid any feelings of shadyness and it's still a mystery to me why it _does_ feel a bit uncomfortable buying a car--like they are hiding something from you. I would be so happy to engage in an open and clear transaction-- and I'm A-OK with them making money--they need to feed their families and pay their rent after all! It would just be be better if it felt a bit more open and the customer service was better. The last details worth knowing are that the car had a dent that the dealership did agree to fix for me and that though the Audi USA manual says that the spark-plugs need to be changed at 35K miles, and this car had 48K miles and had not had the plugs changed. They have said they won't change those out for me een though they are overdue and the service record is all of this car being serviced by the Jack Daniel's Audi dealership. So, it looks like that will cost more money on top of the deal. Still working that part out. read more

i bought a car here a few yrs ago. the BAD experience still lingers as : 1. i see the same car priced LESS than i paid in fl, now, with LESS miles 2. an audi dealership, with an employee from bergen county verified that the PARAMUS AUDI is one of the WORST in the country. their reputation has reached all the way down to Fl! 3. i was not treated nicely, service was poor with BASIC mistakes in even how much money, i owed them . they sent me a bill for the original price, even though we had agreed to a very slightly lesser amount. . 4. I had a really great experience at this dealership. I wanted a specific car they had in stock so I worked with Miguel remotely and I drove out to pick it up. He had PLENTY of opportunity to try to pull a bait and switch and he did not. Everyone I dealt with at this dealership was pleasant, smart and very straightforward from business manager to the tech person. Miguel was so warm and responsive. He gave me a great deal and he had me in and out. My pick up was seamless. I really appreciate how they do business and I would absolutely recommend them and work with them again. read more

Run, run, run as fast as you can. We came in to look at a vehicle on autolist, however it was already sold. We noted that dealers dont update the website as fast as a consumer likes, so we ended up looking at a similar vehicle. The prices are significantly cheaper than other dealers, however most cars on the lot had some minor damages such as scratches. I was really surprised that they showed them on the lot like that. While being shown a vehicle, we noticed damage to the rear bumper. The salesman said it must have bumped something but didnt say it was in an "accident". We were ready to put a deposit, but luckily my friend looked into the car fax to find out the vehicle was in accident in the front and rear. The saleman was super pushy and I was really upset that he was not forward about showing us the car fax as well as the maintenace record on the vehicle. We lucked out that it was late when we were about to put a deposit because everyone in accounting was gone. So my credit card and loan application couldnt be processed. Most cars are still under warranty, however are not certified pre -owned, clearly for a reason. What can I say about Jack Daniels Audi...unfortunately nothing great I've been looking into Audi's since forever and now that my lease was up, I was hoping that Audi would be able to offer something great. Unfortunately, I made the mistake of coming here on Memorial Day, with hundreds of people shopping, and getting a new salesperson who knew close to nothing about Audis. Let me tell you how my transaction went, in the shortest way possible... I was looking into getting the Q3, hoping to get a good deal out of it as I was a new client, with more than excellent credit, and enough spunk to walk away with the car the same day. Regardless, the salesrep sat down with me, went over everything I wanted, and took me on a test drive. At the end of the day, he wasn't able to meet my demands so I met the GM, who introduced himself, told me there might be better deals in a few weeks, and they would keep in contact. Since I didn't need the car THAT moment, I didn't care about walking away without the car. The following day, the salesperson (let's call him Bob) texted me telling me he had a good deal for me, which really wasn't a good deal at all since it wasn't close to my demand. Again, I rejected and didn't hear from him until two weeks later. Two weeks later, he texted me with another 'good deal' which was an even WORSE offer, offering me a 2016 Q3 instead of what we originally looked at which was a 2018 Q3. I tell him I couldn't meet him that day since I had work and he calls me back and tells me he even got an BETTER offer, which now jumped back up to a 2018 brand new Q3. A little fishy, but ok. I eventually met with him anyways and went over numbers. After having a very long look at the list of packages offered in the vehicle he showed me and Verbally confirming the car had the navigation package, I closed the deal, signed papers, and was ready to be on my way....until I sat down with the tech guy who started introducing me to all the features in the car, only to tell me there's no navi. At this point, it was 7pm, almost everyone was gone, papers were signed, what else could I have done? I had already been here for 3 hours, going back and forth, I was tired, let alone Bob. Anyways, in closing, I didn't get the navi system, Bob basically told me that I was the one who looked at the packages and that I shouldn't have driven away with the car so we can rectify the situation, and talked to the GM who 'acknowledged' the situation. There weren't any other options for me and that was it. At this point, I'm tired of going back and forth and just ignored the situation. My first week with the car was good, not great. It drives great and it's clearly a very powerful car. However, I have to say, having driven the Infiniti Q50 and a BMW X5 with all the gadgets, Audi technology seems very mundane to me. The buttons are a little bit old school compared to other cars (even my brothers 2017 Mazda CX-5), the camera system also isn't as clear as the Infiniti or the BMW, and I'm truthfully not a fan of where the 'push to start' button is on the Q3. Anyways, personal opinion on the side, I've had co workers who drives Audi and have gone to Jack Daniel Audi and told me horrible stories from there, leaving one of them to get their Audi from another state. If you've had a great experience with this Audi, I applaud you. If you haven't, welcome to the club. Needless to say, I'm a little disappointed in the technology Audi offers and this could possibly be the only Audi I'll drive. read more

I was played! The General Manager Solomon Faizi of Jack Daniels in Paramus talked me into financing with some bogus company to create a lower payment on my lease. At the time it seemed okay and I was assured that the last payment of my previous lease and all turn-in fees such as wear & tear would be taken care of. Six months later I get a surprise Turn-in bill for excess wear and tear and all these extra fees that were supposed to be covered by JD as long as I got into a new lease. Solomon Faizi (the GM of Jack Daniels) with his arrogant attitude made it seem like he was doing me a favor at the time of my lease...he is shady and has no people skills at all. In hindsight, I suspect that he gets cut backs ($$$) for recommending this dubious and disreputable finance company rather than Audi Financial from where I previously financed. Nonetheless, I feel that I was taken for a ride and don't want anyone else to fall for the same nonsense. I called David Baum, the Sales Associate immediately to find out he no longer is employed at JD. I've reached out to Solomon on numerous occasions and he is unresponsive and has not corresponded to my emails or letters. I am stuck with an $1800 bill that was supposed to be covered by JD as promised. I am very disappointed and dissatisfied at how dismissive Solomon is to this situation. It's a shame because I've been a loyal JD customer with three previous leases and refuse to ever go back. Then I had issues that they neglected to fix in the certification process. So I had to leave my new car at their awful service center for a month. Don't buy a used car from them. They do not stand behind the problems I had the first week. Glue was oozing out of the tail light within 5 days and they would not repair, claimed no knowledge of it - I had to pay for a new taillight ($300). 2 yr old Q5 leaking oil at 18K miles. And parts were missing from the tire kit so we could not fix a flat tire without being towed to only to an Audi dealer. If I had been in a rural area I would have been stranded. All within 3 months. As far as car dealerships go this one is my favorite. Other places in the area immediately give off a sleazy vibe, not here. They are matter of fact and seem genuine (or as genuine as car sales people can be.) I bought two cars from here and am working on a third. Delighted with each one too and the service. I am partial to VW and the feel of their cars, but each time I can in with a clean slate and am happy with the salesperson. I had bad experiences at the Paramus Honda down the road (they are not familiar with the concept that women can actually drive and purchase cars, apparently just men have that privilege.) in comparison I had the opposite experience here when on my most recent visit I came with my husband. We were treated as equals and they clearly knew the golden rule, happy wife =happy life. If I knew this would be my experience after I bought a car here, I would rather pay premiums to find another audi dealer. There are so many dealers in nj. Why would I beg your for services? I bought this new audi car which they don't have inventory in store. So they told some delivery eta range. Then the eta is delayed once, twice and on the last day of the eta, nobody told me where the car is. I have to call multiple times to find a live person to check the status and only find the car is still at port. I understand the transportation may not be under your control but there is no excuse to not answer/reply phone calls, messages. It is extremely hard to get any help from them throughout the process. Jack Daniels' Audi service department: WORST in NJ. First, the customer service is anything but helpful; it's more like "customer disservice." The receptionist/front desk staff fails at basic tasks, is generally irresponsible, and does not follow up with any information. I had to call to check on the status of my vehicle multiple times, and each time I got a different story. There is little to no coordination overall. For example, days after returning the loaner car, the service manager was still calling / emailing me asking for the keys to the loaner i'd returned 4 days prior--total nuisance. As to repairing my vehicle, again a FAILURE for Jack Daniels' Audi of Fairlawn. My MMI (radio/NAV/Telephone) failed/stopped working out of nowhere & without any fault of mine. The charge to disassemble trunk was $870...to get to the MMI unit in trunk to diagnose the problem....when the "problem" was known: the MMI was broken! The first diagnosis was that it "shorted out" and was going to cost $3,000 to replace it...a costly repair for a vehicle worth about $17,000. And, given I was at only 71,000 miles, my certified pre-owned warranty had recently expired, so the cost would be 100% my responsibility. I indicated that had I blared the stereo and blown out the speakers, that would be my responsibility....but a radio simply should not stop working in a car that cost $70,000 4 years ago. That doesn't (or shouldn't) just happen... The second diagnosis (again by JD Audi) was that my car had clogged drain lines from convertible roof, and when those clog, water enters the trunk and can damage the MMI (located in trunk). Sounds like Audi should cover this area, especially given they claim 130-point inspection at each $400 oil change....but, JD Audi offered $0 to fix. Third diagnosis: drain lines are CLEAR, so could not be water damage. Still offered $0 to repair MMI. I contacted Audi of America, who also denied coverage citing "analysis of the service records of my vehicle," to which I replied that 100% of my services were at Jack Daniels' Audi in Fairlawn. Odd that Audi USA denies assistance for a car serviced at JD Audi all these years. Final diagnosis on my invoice: "repaired clogged drain lines." Yes, after over 1 month, JD Audi listed on my final service record that indeed it was clogged drain lines causing the problem; but, still $0.00 offered to me towards the new MMI. Jack Daniels' Audi service could have coordinated a replacement with Audi USA, but they chose to dismiss the obvious fact that the MMI failure was from either 1) defective MMI or 2) negligent service at Jack Daniels Audi. I even informed my salesperson as well as the general manager, of my challenges, including sending them a copy of the letter I wrote to Audi USA on point. I did not receive any replies from Jack Daniels Audi, which leads me to one conclusion: Jack Daniels Audi doesn't care about customers' needs, only Jack Daniels' profits. Jack Daniels' Audi's website claims, "At Jack Daniels Motors, our highly qualified technicians are here to provide exceptional service in a timely manner. From oil changes to transmission replacements, we are dedicated to maintaining top tier customer service, for both new and pre-owned car buyers! Allow our staff to demonstrate our commitment to excellence." Do yourself a favor: don't believe one word of that claim above. If you want a $400 oil change or $150 wiper blade replacements, Jack Daniels Audi is perfect for you. BUYERS BEWARE--if you experience any defect or malfunction, and your car is even 2 seconds past warranty's expiration, DO NOT COUNT ON JACK DANIELS' AUDI TO STAND BY ITS WORK and help you out. I decided to service my Audi at Jack Daniels recently and had a terrible experience that I wanted to share with others considering service here. What was a really positive experience with Adrien B. (he was the best!) soured quickly. I got the car back with long scratches on the hood, doorS, and trunk, none of which were there when I dropped the car to them. I spoke with the Service Manager Joe, who was nice and seemed concerned. He offered to buff the scratches out but I did not feel comfortable having my car there anymore. As the service department charges $200 per hour, I expect them to leave my car in as good or better condition than when it arrived. The dealership doesn't offer loaners or even wash your car, both of which other nearby Audi dealerships do automatically. My poor experience with Jack Daniels service is consistent with other reviews in that management clearly does not have a good handle on the systemic issues there- they are either ignoring the issues or largely incapable. Unfortunately, I never read the reviews until after I experienced issues myself. I purchased an Audi A6 from another nearby Audi dealership and as such, I generally maintain my car there. I chose Jack Daniels Audi this time as the car had recently been driven over a raised manhole cover and there were sounds emanating from the underside of the car and it needed an oil change anyway. Jack Daniels had plenty of availability within the same week, whereas my regular dealership did not. All this l said, I have the ability to compare both Dealership service experiences, and I will never bring my car back to Jack Daniels. Details of my experience are below. I used the night drop off process, which was fine. My service rep, Adrien B. was fantastic- he explained things well, was thorough, and able to juggle delivery of supply orders, scheduling of work, and timelines of when the car would be ready really well. I picked up the car after hours as well- I noticed new scratches on the car: 2/3 the length of the hood, along the doors, and on the trunk lid. I called the service department and spoke to the service manager Joe, who to his credit offered to buff out the scratches. I declined because I do not trust them with caring for my car. I ended up having my car professionally detailed elsewhere out of my own pocket. Also, worth mentioning- my regular dealership washes, and in a post Covid world, even takes measures to sanitize my car ANYTIME my car is there, plus they offers loaner cars. Jack Daniels does not offer loaners, and my car came out much dirtier and scratched after having been at the dealership. Worst dealership experience- do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. I only gave it any stars at all because Adrien and Joe did a stellar job with customer service. The actual service performed and management's decisions not to improve the consistently poorly rated customer service (the themes are similar to other reviews) lowered their score immensely. I won't be doing business with any of the Jack Daniels dealerships again. There are too many better options out there. read more

Went in to get a quote for a 2020 Audi A3 AWD. Was given a quote online and I told them it was a bit much. I was invited to go in that they will "make it work". Was given a ridiculous quote when I went in. $400 a month for 42 months and $2,500 down. When we told the manager it was still too much! Especially on a 42 month lease he just laughed and said it was the best deal we will find. How can you laugh at a customer? When they should always come first. We are paying for it. He's not doing us any offers. So we walked away. It was so unprofessional. Having a manager laugh at you when you're trying to negotiate. That's not negotiating. They wanted us to pay whatever they wanted us to pay without a say. Save yourself a trip and don't go. They will not negotiate with you. If you want a manager to laugh at you, go for it! This time I was on my own in navigating the leasing of a new vehicle and Henry could not have been more supportive and helpful. He explained all of my options clearly and guided me based on my needs. His approach is straightforward and I greatly appreciated that. Farid, the technology consultant is a wonderful teacher and responded to my questions via email, in a very timely manner, answering all of my questions with helpful information. Unfortunately my car arrived from another dealer and had a small dent on the bumper. Mark, the manager, assured me that it would be taken care of ASAP and it was. Several days later, Omar came to my home late afternoon, picked up my car to have the bumper replaced and returned it to me later that evening, working late in order to do so. WARNING: DO NOT!!...do not purchase your audi here! They don't even help with the prices. My story is that i purchased an audi and from the moment i walked in the door they were no help. The sale guy first told me the car was certified...a few minutes later the car wasn't certified. Then i was told the car has bluetooth music streaming without buying any extra parts...again, a few minutes after checking out the car, it does not have music streaming. You have to pay about $100 for a cable you can buy on Amazon/eBay for $10. I was then told the car has certain packages but upon seeing the car it DID not have the complete package they were selling. From no negotiation to the prices of the cars, to the financial manager who spoke to me in an unprofessional manner. I will not give any names but the current sales manager is the WORST. I made plans with him for 2 days in advance to get certain packages included with my car, when i drove all the way out there, they told me no one knows anything and to come back. I wasted time, gas, toll and a day off work for this. It happened 2 times and upon the third time my car was still NOT taken care of. They claimed my car was properly taken care of yet when i picked up my car, it was FILTHY and upon that i saw new scratches! I was so infuriated that i just left. I WILL NEVER GO BACK HERE AGAIN! The only reason why i went back the first 3 times was because when you buy a car from a dealer they are responsible for things like your first full tank for free, car detailing, car wash etc. When i was trying to get answers from the sales guy who sold me the car, he was "busy" for a week before even getting a chance to talk to him. I tried to speak to the manager there and the same thing. For purchasing such a expensive vehicle it was the worst service ever. I went to this dealership with full intentions of purchasing a used Nissan Pathfinder we found online. The first night I stopped by was about 10-15 minutes before 6:00pm closing on a Saturday (which, yes - I know is not the most ideal time). As I stepped out of my car two salesmen walked by us and said "The dealership is closed. You're welcome to look around on your own, but no one will be able to help you." before I even had a chance to say a word. To me, there are nicer ways they could have stated this, but whatever. It was my own fault for showing up a little later. So we found the used vehicle on the lot and noticed the car was keyed from one end to the other on both sides, hood and rear hatch. Someone obviously was unhappy when they did this, as the damage was pretty deep. We decided we would call on Monday and see if the dealer was willing to compensate for the cost of repairs in the sale price. So, that's what we did. Monday morning I called in to the dealership. First off (and this may just me being a little overly-sensitive), of the three people I spoke with that morning, to each I said "Good morning, how are you?" to which all three responded (after a long pause) "What can I do for you?" or "How can I help you?" - which means they didn't even listen when someone speaks to them, they're just on autopilot. Regardless, I explained the situation and asked if they would be willing to either fix the vehicle before we bought it or if they would compensate us back in the sale price if we chose to move forward. We also explained that the pricing on the vehicle was at the top of the scale for retail pricing on NADA, KBB and Edmunds. The salesman could not have been more short with me stating "That's the price of the vehicle as is. If you don't want it, don't buy it." Now, to me, that's obviously someone that shouldn't be speaking to customers, PERIOD. But really, it seems as though these people at the dealership here are just very unhappy and not willing to work with or speak with customers. With all the other poor reviews on this site I can't imagine how they stay in business - since it's obvious that we're not the only ones experiencing the lack of service. Bottom line, I don't suggest wasting your time with these people. You'll come out frustrated and probably on the losing end in the long run. read more

DO NOT give your business to Jack Daniels Audi in Paramus. I just got back from what was supposed to be the closing on my car when they informed me they SOLD it. Last NIGHT. After I had been negotiating with them since Monday. And had come to an agreement yesterday AFTERNOON, EARLIER than the other person who allegedly made their deal last NIGHT. Then they had the gall to me I should have bought it on the spot, without a mechanic's inspection, and insulted my intelligence by telling me I should have left a deposit the dealer NEVER ASKED FOR. Apparently it's MY job to tell them how to do THEIR job. The lack of communication is astounding. Professionalism is nonexistent. If I could give zero stars I would. I spoke to a man, Lamont, over the phone as we scheduled a time for me to come in and test drive the car. I traveled an hour to the dealership where I was met by a man, Ramone, who sat me down at his desk before going to get the keys from another area of the dealership. He came back around 5 minutes later and told me the vehicle I was interested in was just sold. With that we shook hands and I left. It's as if my time was worthless. I spent 2 and a half hours round trip and didn't even see the car. *BEWARE* read more

Ugh ugh ugh This place looked professional and cars were well-kept, but they completed wasted my time for no reason. I came in to look at a pre-owned Honda CR-V. They're closed Sunday so I called first thing Monday morning to ask the availability of the vehicle (literally 8:59am) I found online. Was told it was available and said through the phone that I would be there in 30 mins, name, phone number, etc everything was noted down. I came here, sat down, and they were trying to fill out my information before showing me the vehicle. This was prob a 10-15 min process and when they went to get the vehicle, oh woops. Someone was already looking and preparing to test drive it. They suggested we could wait to see if the other customer actually makes the deal, two hours later the wife is now test driving it and the couple are likely to purchase the vehicle. They must have told the couple that we were waiting for the car which is why they spent so long deciding to buy it, going on multiple test drives. In the end the manager said it seems the couple wants to buy it. This was honestly was a complete wasted morning. I know it's first come first serve but I feel bitter that I called first thing in the morning, made an appt for a specific vehicle, yet they let another customer look at it just a few mins before I arrived. I kid you not, that customer must not have been there any more than 10 mins earlier than I was. I really didn't have time for all of this crap. Professionally, they should have told the other customer "we have someone who's coming in soon to look at the vehicle, could you wait" OR let me know in advance when I made that call, "someone else is interested" before I wasted my morning coming in. And they only had to wait 30 mins because I wasn't that far away! Ugh! Update: they called me at closing time to let me know that the deal fell through and would be available the next day to look at it. But I had already made a purchase on my second-choice vehicle which really made me feel worse. Ugh. Just ugh read more

Very long story short: I leased a Q5. Found out months later it had been hit on the parking lot by a customer. (I have h police report from Paramus police) This was not disclosed to me. The GM at the time, Solomon Faizi is a piece of garbage, nothing was done to rectify this. And dealer, Marie Sielski claimed she didn't know about the accident. Save your time and go to another dealership. It's no wonder Solomon is at Hyundai now. But I guess I wouldn't go there either. read more

My wife and I had an amazing experience. Tal was our salesperson. He was extremely knowledgeable and not pushy at all. We had 2 cars in mind an Audi and a Range Rover. Honestly, the service we received was the prevailing deciding factor. After purchasing the 2016 Q5, Arthur gave us the rundown of the car features and a tutorial on how to work everything. He was extremely friendly patient and an all round pleasure to learn from. Any time we forget something we can just call him directly and he is happy to assist. Very sleazy car dealership, not worthy of the Audi name. After finding the used car of our dreams (2014 blue manual A4), we contacted the dealership and were connected with Terry. Over the phone, he struck me as a typical used car salesman, which I was disappointed about (considering the classy service other Audi dealerships had offered me), but I was prepared for that and wanted the car. We haggled over the price, and finally agreed to place a $1000 deposit and drive down from Boston to buy the car in person (manual A4s are few and far between, it seems). We were really excited. That quickly evaporated when we sat in the car for the first time -- it reeked of cigarette smoke. No judgment against people who smoke (well, slight judgment - I'm a doctor), but this is absolutely something that should have been disclosed before we traveled from four states away to check out the car. Both Terry, and his manager Vinny, claimed that the car had never been smoked in, and then when we pushed the issue (the stench was obvious), they belatedly admitted that it was owned by a smoker, but that they couldn't smell it since they (both!?) had sinus problems. Terry even went so far as to apologize for our "sensitivities"! How considerate. We politely declined to take the car, and requested a refund of our deposit. After nearly two weeks, and five calls to Vinny and other managers, I finally disputed the deposit through American Express. Dishonest, sleazy dealership. Take your business elsewhere. read more
