I bought my new Audi A4 in 2011 and still bring it to Audi Silver Spring for services although I am living about 50 miles from this dealership. In 2011, I wanted to buy a 2011 Audi A4 CVT FrontTrak Premium Plus with Navigation. This was a special model since all the A4 with Navigation, my favorite interior and exterior colors were quattro. Therefore, I had to order a customized car instead of buying the ones available at the dealerships. Only Audi Silver Spring was able to provided me the lowest price on the configuration I wanted (just through email communication). After having the car, I always bring it to Audi Silver Spring for services under AudiCare and AudiCare Plus. The experiences was not always good, but the people there are friendly and are willing satisfy difficult customer like me. 1) My front OEM tires needed to replaced at 35k, because of a miscommunication, the cost of the tires and installation was much higher than I expected. They were so apologetic and gave me a free a detailing package at 45k service. 2) At 62k, I discovered that the automatic transmission fluid (ATF) was not replaced at 35k service. I was angry and requested an explanation from Audi Silver Spring. Their explanation was that they mistakenly used the service instruction for Quattro car, not the FrontTrak one. They offered to replace the ATF and gave us a nice loaner car (2016 Audi A6 TDI). After the service was completed, they delivered my A4 back to me. I did not need to drive to the dealership to return the A6 and pick up my A4. The A6 TDI was such a great car to drive. These are two examples that I think this dealership is willing to make effort to satisfy its customers. I know the service at dealership is usually more expensive than independent shops. However, I like to go Audi Silver Spring for serving my car for the peace of mind and good customer service (a nice loaner car is always a good sign), if the cost difference between Audi Silver Spring and other shops is within my acceptable range. In the future, I hope Audi Silver Spring can provide service with more competitive prices. Overall, I think it is one of the best Audi dealerships in D.C. area I have been to. read more

Staff is very accommodating ...I have purchased many cars in my life but this Dealership and Management goes out of their way to make you feel important. This is definitely the best car buying experience I've ever had. I had a very particular request for my A5 and tried dealing with Audi of Arlington and Audi of Tysons Corner and both were the worst experiences I've ever had. Audi of Tysons was particularly annoying because they did not treat me with any respect when I tried to get them to send me basic details about what I would be paying for. Audi of Silver Spring was the exact opposite. They were completely transparent and honest, nothing was hidden, the deal was great, and in less than one day I had the exact car I wanted at the price I needed. Couldn't be easier. Ask for Robert Hovey. He is absolutely fantastic. And whatever you do, DO NOT buy your car from Audi of Arlington or Tysons Corner. They will insult your intelligence. I went in there. Hoping for them to work with me. I told them what I was looking for, what price range, what I COULD trade in (Didn't need to though) and asked if they could help me out. From the minute I walked in I felt this vibe that they were judging me due to age and appearance. I test drove one car, sat down with the sales (THAT gentlemen was AMAZING- sweetest guy in there!!) talked to me a little, and went back to talk to his account manager to see what they could do on the price. Came back and told me nothing could be done for me, wasn't working on the price, didn't even come talk to me after a few times of having the gentlemen go back and forth with me. THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! He never went over with me Rates, prices on OTHER cars, NOTHING, didn't even look AT ME! I was sooo upset I walked out. They didn't even ask me what I was willing to put down, if I already had a loan ready for them, NOTHING!!!! I had over $5K to put down, pre approved for a loan with my credit union, and wanted a new car. I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THIS DEALERSHIP! Audi Silver Spring provides top notch customer service ... far greater than most businesses and other industries. (car dealership, restaurant, etc.). I credit it to one thing - their staff! It speaks volumes when you see the same service staff every single time you visit the Audi Silver Spring dealership. It's very comforting, and it is very indicative that the leadership takes care of their staff, who in turn takes care of their customers. Specifically, my go-to person for car issues is Phil Lozano. Phil is not only uber friendly, but is very personable, knowledgeable, and a problem solver. He always calms my fears and concerns as it relates to my car, and goes above and beyond. I went there to repair MMI screen because It is not works screen ,radio at all but they check it up for over 2 hours and needed replacement by special order satellite controller for $ 1490 but I found it on Ebay.com only $60 and replaced it at local electronic shop for $ 70 labor so total cost was $ 130 but Audi dealer charged me $140 for estimate and they didn't do anything.also I had to wait for my car out over 3 hours. They absolutelly robbery and wasting time.Be aware. read more

Extremely professional, accommodating and informative. I was very happy with the timely service, acceptance phone call and great times to drop off and pick up. (much better than other Audi dealers in MD) I picked up my car and it was spotless inside and out, not a speck of brake dust and the leather was shiny and slick. The only reason I am giving them two stars is because my communication via email was quite nice. Everything in person was horrendous, and I will NOT be returning here. I bought the exact same car (a nicer model, actually), for more because I was so annoyed after leaving this dealership. I brought up that the car was priced a bit high and rather than address how their pricing works and what it includes, he basically called me an idiot for comparing it to Edmounds and KBB, telling me I didn't know what i was talking about. Two days later, I got an email from him asking me if I was still interested in the car. I had a good laugh and deleted it, knowing I already had the keys to a significantly nicer version of the car I looked at, and paid several thousand less than his asking price. If you are thinking about going to this dealership, run FAR, FAR away. If you are connected to Xeni in any way via email, run even further. DO NOT USE. read more

Service department - could not be worse! Don't go there. They have been trying to repair an Audi A4 for going on 6 months (this is not an exaggeration) and the car is still not repaired. Both Mile One and Audi have been tasked with repair for this car that hit a curb - it is still at Audi as they cannot determine what is causing specific issues and keep returning the car when the repairs have not been resolved. They also damaged the leather on the front and back seats. Customer service has been non-existent - I even contacted Jim Gordon and the corporate office in Towson - no reply. Don't even think about going here - trying to repair a car for going on 6 months is ridiculous. read more

Audi Silver Spring was generally rated higher than others in the area, so even though it was a longer drive I gave it a try. I have owned my A6 since 2015 and have been getting my services done In Arlington va and have never had a problem. I've been living in silver spring now for about 3 years and finally decided to stop driving to va for services and came to audi of silver spring. I didn't have an appointment but was there 7:30 am to drop my car of for a minor service. I was told by Christian that my car should be done around 4 pm and that he would give me a call If anything changed or when it was ready to pick up. I didn't receive any phone call or text, so around 5:30 I started calling him directly as well as the service department's main line. After numerous no answers I finally left voice mails on both his personal line and the service department's line. Still with no response I went up there. The service department was closed and the manager couldn't find my keys nor my paper work anywhere. It took 3 ppl to finally track down Christian via cell phone for him to tell them that it might not be done yet and it would be done the next morning. I've never had this problem of lack of communication with audi of Arlington. And idk why a minor service should take 2 days to finish. In April 2015 I walked off the street to look at an A-4 but took a test drive w/ an S-4 and was super impressed. My wife also test drove an A-3 and she was very excited about the car. Even though she wasn't in the market to purchase an Audi we ended up buying a pre-owned certified S-4 and leasing an A-3. The salesman Xeni was very helpful and he was able to offer some discounts for doing a deal w/ 2 vehicles. Although it wasn't a super deal it was acceptable. We ended up leaving w/ the A-3 but realized later there was no tag on the car. Xeni was very accommodating and met us on a Sunday to give us the tag. The S-4 had appox 8,000 mi so I didn't even think to check the tread on the tires. At 13,000 miles I had to replace the tires due to extreme wear. I wasn't able to take the car to the dealership because one tire was so deflated it was unsafe to drive. When I called to inform them I was told the tires on that vehicle were "Summer Tires" and only expected to get 10-15,000 miles. But I certainly wasn't informed of that as I would have negotiated a better deal. My complaint is there was not full disclosure therefore they were not willing to take any responsibility. Currently I have waited over 1 week for some paper work that discloses what they claim but have yet to receive. Upon inspection of the tire warranty that was in the glove box the vehicle was factory equipped w/ Champion tires but the tires on the vehicle were Michelin. Seems that the original tires had already been replaced or swapped out. I don't know as I can't get a response from the Dealership even though I have attempted several times. read more

Finally took it to Silver Spring Audi. they fixed the issue (2yrs of intermittent problems). Not cheap but they "fixed it" right. Should have taken it in a few years ago. I purchased an Audi last month at the Silver Spring Audi Dealership. I worked with Atanas (Sales Consultant) and Sam (Finance Director). They will say anything even if that means making false statements to get you to buy a car. I was stupid to trust them, and now I am paying for the mistake in a very expensive way. I was able to obtain a better interest rate from my Bank. The rate was better than what Audi was offering. However, Audi was offering a $1,000 incentive. In order to get the incentive, Sam asked me to go with Audi and that I could use the loan approval letter from my bank to refinance my Audi loan. I specifically asked if that would not mean refinancing a higher interest rate. He promised that it is different from refinancing and that I was going to get the initial rate that my bank offered. A few weeks later, I was told by my bank that I could use the letter of credit since I was trying to do is called refinancing even though the car is still brand new. I was expecting honesty from both the sale consultant as well as the finance director. I was lied to about several items. They misled me in a very disgusting way. PLEASE DONT BELIEVE A WORD THAT COMES OUT THEIR MONTH. They will make you believe that you should finance your loan with Audi at a higher rate and refinance with your bank at a lower rate. However, that is not true. They should have been upfront with me and let me better decisions. This is not a good corporate culture. In addition, Sam told me that the audi care could be cancelled any time if I ever changed my mind. I also found out that was not the case. Audi SS has been servicing my Audi TT for the last four years, and they've always been personable, efficient, quick to get the car in and turned around and willing to provide a loaner. I especially appreciated my visit two weeks ago, when Evan -- on admittedly short notice -- got my car in within two days before I had to leave for a road trip to Upstate NY. Aaron came out to greet me, checked me in quickly, got me set up to work while I waited, slipped a note to rather than interrupting a call I was on, and then personally drove the car up to the door where I was sitting rather than calling me back to the service center. all I can say is make sure that the price that you agree on with them is signed and you have a copy of it. Because in my case, the price agreed to, was not the price on the sales contract. It had been increased by the cost of the destination charge, even though this had been negotiated earlier. Their best defense was that we had signed it. I am very unhappy with this dealership. Sadly, dealerships are not a fun place and if we consumers are not careful, they will take you for everything you got. This dealership was no exception. They are not our friends, and their smiles and niceness are just a front to rob you blind, if you allow it. I had negotiated what I thought was a reasonable deal (not great, not excellent, just fair), but after I got home, I noticed all the fees and the extra costs added to the final price of the car that I had negotiate, making it the worst deal I have ever had in my life while buying a car. Now I am stuck with a car that I am not crazy about and paying a premium price for it. It's my fault, I was tired and I am stupid in believing that total strangers will do right by you. My advise is that while buying a car from this dealership that you read ALL your papers before signing anything, make sure the numbers make sense to you and DO NOT BUY IT, WALK AWAY if you think that the numbers do not make any sense. ONLY sign the final papers after EVERYTHING makes sense to you. This dealership DOES NOT have YOUR best interest at hand. They want to sell whatever car they have for the highest possible price. Took my brother who was visiting from New Jersey to purchase a Audi; the salesman who we were appointed to first shook our hand and then said let me shake it again; he said the didn't want us to think he was gay or anything like that; as we sat down and my brother told him that he was interested in a used Q5 he said ok is there any other car you would like and he replied no; the salesman proceeded to say well I will tell you what I like and he mentioned the A4 in which is a car not an suv; he then pull out a 2014 Q5 gave us the key and said try it out; we did and came back; my brother love the performance; after running the credit report it appear he was over extended and could not buy that particular year; I could see the face of the salesperson in the Finance officers office as it dropped; he then turn to his sales board and count the cars he sold for the month; he never informed us that he then came out was very evasive and handed him another key to try out the Finance manager said no one would give my brother a loan for 40k at this time; we proceeded to the car in which was a 2012 model the sales person never came to escort us to car or show us how to start due to the difference in years it had a different start button; we asked a gentlemen from the Porsche dealer to help us and he replied where is your salesperson? he started it we drove it and came back to showroom; he like it but not as much as the 2014 however was willing to purchase; the sales person then claimed we drove the car without a tag on it and continued to accuse of wrong doing and that we could have gotten into an accident; he said his 15 year old daughter would have known better and that my brother is a teacher and should know right from wrong insulted my profession as well; we proceeded to the Finance office to tell the officer that the deal was off after it was already approved; the sales man ran in front of us using another door screamed at the Finance mgr this deal is off! ripped up the file in our faces a heated argument took place for at least 20 minutes while other customers and employees looked on. We left went to new Jersey and purchased an Audi Q5 the next day with a loan amount of 44k. the funniest thing was no manager or anyone in authority tried to stop the harassment and on going dispute on the main showroom floor; NEVER SHOP THERE AGAIN! HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND VEHICLES; NONE ARE READY FOR IMMEDIATE PURCHASE. read more
