BMW dealership in Silver Spring... whew. It's been a LONG minute, but I had to come back because these other shops have been out here playing in my FACE. One thing about this location? The location itself is top tier. Super convenient and easy to get to, especially compared to some of these random dealerships way out in the cut. But unfortunately, convenience can only carry a place so far. The service department has always moved at turtle speed. The wait times are honestly ridiculous. And of course, nothing here is cheap. BMW service prices are already painful, but I used to tolerate it because the quality at least matched the price tag. Lately though? The little details are disappearing, and that's what worries me. Basic things like topping off the windshield washer fluid, properly washing the car, or even doing a decent vacuum job are being skipped or half done. If corners are being cut on the obvious stuff I can see, it makes me question what's happening with the actual maintenance and repairs I can't see. At this point, I genuinely have PTSD dealing with BMW service departments. Every visit feels like stress, confusion, waiting, and wondering whether you're really getting what you paid for. The service department is hard to reach. I called 5 times and finally I was able to speak to someone. Took my car for a recall service, apparently the service was done but I still get a recall notification on my screen. Either the recall was not done of the technician did not do his job and did not reset the recall notification on the computer. Now I have to take care car back to have them check on it. Thanks to Jaden who sold me a trunk mat for my car. He and Jaden helped put it in the car. Jaden was so kind to check and see why my front mat was sliding up. Is there a 0 star option? I had a terrible experience with the service department. I had a big issue with my car just two months out of warranty, with repair quoted at $6700. I was told they would work with BMW North America to see if any goodwill could be extended, then later told BMW North America declined to help. I decided to call BMW NA myself and they told me that they wanted to help but the dealership wouldn't recommend goodwill. So at the prompting of BMW NA, I went to a different dealership and guess what? That BMW dealership worked with BMW NA and my repair was covered 75%. I'm very disappointed with the service and deceit I received at BMW Silver Spring and will never step foot in that dealership again. read more

I purchased a low mileage 2024 BMW M4 Competition from BMW of Silver Spring as what was represented to me as an "executive driven" vehicle, and I was told I would be the first actual owner of the car. What I did not expect was to spend months dealing with issues, unanswered questions, and discovering information that should have been clearly disclosed from the beginning. After taking delivery, I began noticing serious paint quality problems and signs that the vehicle may have had a much harder life than what was represented. During inspection, I found remnants of what appeared to be an "M Performance Driving School" decal on the rear of the car, raising major concerns that this vehicle may have previously been used as a BMW USA fleet/demo vehicle rather than simply an executive-driven car. What makes this even more frustrating is that despite being a prior BMW USA vehicle, the condition and maintenance history of the car did not reflect the level of care you would expect from a manufacturer-owned vehicle. The paint condition was unacceptable for a nearly new M car, I've dealt with PPF-related damage concerns, cosmetic issues, and overall signs of wear that simply should not exist on a vehicle represented the way this one was. As the first titled owner, I expected transparency and honesty regarding the vehicle's prior use and condition. Instead, getting straight answers about the history of the car has been incredibly difficult. For a dealership carrying the BMW name, this experience has seriously damaged my trust in both the dealership and the brand experience surrounding BMW USA vehicles. The M4 itself is an amazing platform, but this purchase experience has been one of the most frustrating vehicle ownership experiences I've had. I strongly recommend that anyone considering an "executive driven" or prior BMW USA vehicle from this dealership request complete documentation of prior use, maintenance history, and cosmetic condition before signing anything. read more

In January of 2026 I bought a used 2024 corvette. It got delivered to Nevada where I live in February of 2026. I was told after I signed the paperwork in January to just wait for my registration and plates in the mail. The original finance guy Ben was fired and also did not submit the proper forms so then Bridgette the finance director took over and submitted everything back in April. It is now June and now the Nevada DMV is telling me the dealership never paid for my registration or sales taxes (which was put into my loan automatically). Impossible to contact Bridgette or the GM Steve. No call backs or picking up the phone. This has been a disaster from the start. The only point of contact that I have is Desirae the sale associate that I worked with and she's been doing what she can playing middle man. I pray the ownership reads this and reaches out. Honestly, we did not want to have to go to the dealer, but with no AC in 90-degree weather, something had to be done. From the time of drop off, my wonderful Service representative, Alex Duarte was professional and knowledgeable, professional and simply an asset to the service department. He worked with me to try to get costs down as much as possible; however, with the amount of work that my car needed, it was just more economical for us to trade our vehicle in for a newer version. Alex introduced us to Ron Askew, Client Advisor who walked us through our options. Ron was a great sales professional and was also knowledgeable about the vehicles available. Ron worked hard for us, and I would be remiss if I did not mention his patience and professionalism. I would highly recommend him to family and friends. For the financing, Naeim Imaniyan CAME THROUGH!! He made it all happen, and I am so appreciative of him for getting us in a car that I did not even consider, but in hindsight was a smarter option for us. I left at least two voicemails with a callback number and nothing. Ended up calling Passport BMW service was answered on my call and took care of my repairs in 24 hours! Amazing difference. I went to BMW of Silver Spring to purchase a few small parts for my 2015 BMW i3. Right of the bat, I could tell that customers who purchase at the dealership Parts Department are considered 'second tier' clientele. However, I have rarely encountered a more obnoxious customer representative than Mr. Horacio Palacios. Mr. Palacios is a parts specialist at BMW of Silver Spring. He was rude and unhelpful throughout my transaction. At one point, he even mumbled something like, 'I should have called in today.' I could have attributed Mr. Palacios' unsatisfying customer service skills to a bad day. Unfortunately, this is not the first time I receive poor attention at this dealership. I usually purchase parts online to avoid having to visit with staff. I also usually get better deals from other dealerships, as this particular locale tends to be costlier than those in Ohio or Illinois, for instance. Have to downgrade my previous rating ---regrettably. In general, I like the dealership and their employees, especially when compared to other local BMW dealers. I ordered a BMW in July and the dealership worked hard to source an asset. It arrived several weeks ago, but could not be delivered due to BMW's world-wide IBS "stop sale". I was approached last week and advised that I could re-order my delivered vehicle from the factory (end of October prospective dlvy date), and that the vehicle would be capable of delivery. Unfortunately, the deal terms were not as advantageous, and my trade-in value would reflect my extended ownership term, and thre wasn't any seeming recognition of the new delivery delay impact. Was advised that the desired vehicle was selling for MSRP, so dealership's ability to netotiate was limited. They declined my counter offer. Their prerogative, certainly! So, now will set aside my long-term dealership relationship and any remianing BMW band loyalty. Time to move on. read more

I'm beyond disappointed and honestly furious with the way I was treated by (BMW of Silver Spring) Tischer Autopark and Atlantic Automotive Corporation (Franchised owned dealership). As a loyal customer with no gaps in my maintenance alone with extended warranty. I brought my BMW in for a regular routine maintenance, expecting professional service(for Preventive maintenance), while they recommend all these parts to get fixed and me doing what they recommended, still resulted in my vehicle shutting off in the rain on a busy highway nearly resulting in a server accident. but what I got was a mess that led to a full-on lawsuit (4 years). I sued them for negligence, breach of contract, and misrepresentation--yes, it was that serious. With all proof of invoice documents, extended warranty inspector report as well as their own BMW technician report stating his findings of how my "engine starved of oil" The whole reason of my complaint. Even though the court ruled in their favor, that doesn't make what they did right. From the Original invoice document they allow their BMW technician to Contradict himself under the oath. Stating it wasn't oil related. I felt completely taken advantage of, lied to, and ignored. They showed zero accountability, no integrity, and treated me like my concerns didn't matter at all. As a women of color an a essential worker at the time of the failure of the engine(2020) This experience cost me time, money, and peace of mind. I would never recommend this place to anyone. BMW drop off on a Saturday is always a little hectic. However the lady at the front Mrs. Jackson was too kind and very professional. My service agent was Grant, he was professional. The only reason I am dinging them a star is BMW is always trying it with stuff you don't need. I was told today would be a good day to change my spark plus and some other filter sub total 1100 plus dollars. Which I would not have minded paying, except for the following: Spark plugs are not recommended until 60K miles. I have less than 35k on my car. The filter they wanted to change my hubby attempted to change before we left HawAii. And he said it was pointless because mines still looked just as good as the new one. Spark plugs cost roughly 60 dollars. Even if you Google Spark plug price 16-100 bucks. So what the bell are you charging for labor? So why the inflated price BMW? Thank goodness my hubby and I know cars. BMWs In my opinion are like ridiculously hot significant others with no job, and no ambition. They look great sure, but they are absolutely worthless. Once they are done they try and take you and as much of your money down with them as they can. This is my third and final BMW so I am allowed to say this :) this location is pretty convenient to me as I live in Severn. So while I drive snowball. This will be my location. read more

I was quoted $1095 for basic maintenance like oil change, air filter and brake fluid which is ridiculous. After my oil change, they did wash my car and vacuumed the mats but no wiping down of the dashboard or anything else that I'm used to with other dealers. The older lady at the checkout can benefit from some major customer service training. She was very snarky and condescending. Extremely rude to one of the staff as well which dilutes the "luxury" element of the what the dealership is supposed to be. This was likely my last visit. read more
