This dealership is an extreme rip off. Take your car anywhere else. Whatever the longer tow cost is to go somewhere else will be worth it. These dealerships value their customers and try to provide an elevated customer experience. Southampton Audi, the service department specifically, is a disaster. It takes weeks to get an appointment, the service managers that "greet" you are miserable in their jobs and don't understand customer service. They're actually hostile to customers. Rather than try to understand (listen) to what the customer is expressing they want to prove points. Worse, they gossip about them when they leave the area - in earshot of other customers in the waiting room. Would have excused if this was an isolated incident but experience was exactly the same the last time the car was brought in for service. The service reps are just miserable people! A minor beef - but the waiting area - offers no water or amenities. Brought my car in for its first oil change.......doubt I will go back there again!!! had to wait weeks for an appointment. Person on phone was so rude. Then when I got there cus service is non existent. Website for service says car is cleaned with "every service visit". My car was returned the same way it was brought in except that the mats in front had been "shaken out". Nothing else done!!!! No windows cleaned..nothing. also, no water available for customers...nothing in fridge.... My previous vehicle (not an Audi) at least had good service, car was cleaned to perfection, water provided AND snacks!!! Customer service is non existent! They cannot be reached by phone And they do not return calls from messages left. We took our car for diagnosis for an engine.Light which turned out to be needing a new gas cap. It took five days for them to get the car back to us and we were told not to use the car as they waited for a gas cap. I then requested a call from a manager.To express our displeasure. Left that message and it has now been four days that i've heard from no one. I have purchased 6 audies and will not get another one.Because I would have to deal with this dealership. The worst service ever. Manager at desk completely careless. Told me to come the next day at 2 . Called 4 times, texted and emailed to confirm if the car was ready. Not one response. Upon pickup, I was told that the the car needed service and parts, which should have been made clear with a phone call before pickup. Furious with the attitude of the manager at front desk. I brought my car in for a water pump replacement. Not only was it expensive, but in a month the light came on again that it was running hot. Opened the hood to find not a drop of coolant, refilled it took it my guy, he tested it, no leaks. They never filled it. Now I come to find out the pump is covered under a class action suit, I needed my receipt. In a span of 2 months I have called 4 times with no call back stopped in twice only to be told the computers are down. Brought my 2022 Q3 in to take care of a recall. The phone system is horrible. No one picks up in service. You have to go thru several prompts to get thru to sales, then forward to service. The first service appt was three months away. They did offer a loaner but the inside was filthy. They gal at the service desk acted like she just rolled of of bed (grumpy, tired, messy hair and had a half eaten muffin in front of her). On the return for my car, I asked for a compliment wash but was not done. Probably won't return to this dealer again. read more

Poor experience. ordered a tire for a damaged tire on our audi car and the earliest availability to install is 2months away.. Called back two weeks later to see if there was any chance of "squeezing" us in to replace the damaged tire and do an inspection/service which expires in 6 weeks time and the earliest opening is 8 weeks away... I was then politely asked to call back in a few weeks to see if they had any cancellations rather than being put on a high priority cancellation list... Have tried and tried and tried and tried to reach someone. Left messages with reception, left voicemail, dropped by the dealerships (Audi, BMW, and Porsche) and NOBODY. Yes, blame C-19 but I still have an Audi and want help befitting a luxury car brand. How hard is it to buy a roof rack, ski rack, bike rack for my Audi??? Finally got a call back from Greg who left me voicemail. I tried him back on the number he gave. Someone else - didn't give me a name - from BMW answered, said Greg was with Audi, and hung up on me. We have a brand new Audi Q7 as of March and it already is having issues and won't start. We attempted roadside assistance and were told that our car would be towed to this location. AWFUL customer service, no loaner cars to give and were told that they would not be able to service our car until the end of October, 2months later!! Both Audi road side assistance and this location is a joke.. avoid it at all costs. Their only solution was a tough luck approach, hung up the phone on us when we asked for other solutions/authorized Audi garages, and suggested that we just pay for our own rental car until they "get around to it" in servicing our car. read more

I called these guys before driving over because I had this distinct feeling that they'd be pandering to a clientèle that does not include yours truly. Not to say that every business east of Westhampton is pretentious or elitist but I could tell just from the person who answered the phone that any service call questions were going to be met with general disdain. Thankfully my gut was right and I never ventured out there because if I had, I would have been out at least $500 and even then, they said there was no guarantee they'd find anything wrong with my car. These guys are the worst. I own four Audis and have occasionally used Audi Southampton New York for service. The service department is now closed so they send you a mile away to Porsche. Today I had a series of mishaps with the repair of my Audi TT. First they had the wrong name and phone number associated with my car. Second they had no idea how long it will take or how much the repair will cost. Third they tried to charge me $250 for an oil change. Fourth when I picked up the car they tried to run my credit card through twice, resulting in me being double charged. Then when they gave me the key to my car, it was missing my keychain. We went to get our Goodyear tires replaced and we found out that the tires have a history of performing badly and all the dealer did was tell us we were lucky that we got this far. The did nothing to help, the made the scheduling process nothing but painful, plus it took 15 minutes just to get a price for the new tires and service woman provided zero assistance. I advise against it. Do not buy the insurance they try to sell you with the car. It is actually a scam. When you try to use the insurance that bought, the manager tells you to call their insurance center in Florida and then you get sent in circles around and around and around to different people who never know what end is up. I disagree with the prior reviews. I have been a customer for 12+ years and have purchased two new Audis from them. Virtually all the servicing of both Audis has been performed there. Their servicing has been consistently excellent. I have had absolutely no complaints through probably 40+ services. They have fixed problems without appointments when I needed this done. Easily (!) the best dealer for servicing I have dealt in over 35 years of car ownership. Their sales approach is very low key, which I prefer. They are however, very helpful, straightforward and knowledgeable. Absolutely no complaints from me, nor from my Audi-owning friends who deal with them. I went in to get my airbag replaced with the recall. There were no warning lights on. They returned the car to me and the first time I used it after that, the airbag warning red light was on. When I told the dealer, they said the airbag warning light for the airbag they just fixed that was not on when I gave them the car is something else and I have to pay to fix it. You should never go to them and if you are in eastern Long Island, you may want to consider another brand as they have a monopoly. read more

I went to Audi recently to get a new car lease because my lease is ending in 2 months. I went in determined to get the Audi A5. The salesman that I dealt with 3 years ago was the same guy I dealt with at this time. He made my decision for me. He was lazy and non communicative. When we went outside to look at a model, he seemed very detached and not at all interested in selling me the car. Then when we went back into the dealership he charged in ahead of me and didn't hold the door open for me and my brother. As a client you would think that at least he would try to show some manners and hold the door for us. I decided right then that I was not going to buy an Audi. I stopped in on a holiday weekend, on my way back into NYC, because my right front tire kept running low on air, despite several refills. My car was a rental Audi, and I needed to return it in the city. Because it was a holiday, the service center wasn't open. However, the showroom was open, and one of the associates came directly to me, inquired about my car, and then took care of everything. He moved another car out of the service garage, had me pull my car into the space, personally checked and refilled the tire, and gave me the information I needed when I returned the car in the city. This is a terrible dealership. We walked in yesterday to take a look at the cars as our lease is up on our non-Audi vehicle and a friend loves her Q3 so wanted to check them out. Upon entering the dealership, no one greeted us, not even a hello. There was another customer looking at a car and a salesman was helping them but several other staff were sitting in their offices alone. I'm all for low key selling and certainly appreciate not being pounced on or pushed by a sleazy car dealer, but a friendly "hi, let us know if you have questions or need some assistance" would be nice. Finally, after wandering around for 10 minutes, we decided to ask for help. When we said out loud "can anyone here help us?" The salesman who was working with the other customer said 'oh, sorry, i thought you were working with someone" and he motioned that his colleague could help us. His colleague didn't even get up from his chair or emerge from his office until he was asked a second time to come and help. Not that he really helped us. No introduction, no invitation to sit in his office, no offer of a water or anything. He was useless and unhelpful. Clearly didn't care about a sale or common courtesy. I've never been treated so poorly at a car dealer. So much for considering Audi for my purchase. This dealership should be ashamed and they should all be sent for basic customer service training. read more

Terrible experience. Brought my car in for a few things to be repaired and I am totally dissatisfied with the service I received. The man at the desk did not write down the problems I was experiencing such as a leak on my drivers side and did not write anything down which led to them changing the passenger side part... Big surprise; I had to bring my car back a week later because the drivers side leak was still there. After some arguing they changed the appropriate part free of charge for the part and for labor (as they should have, given the circumstances). However, they must have been a little ticked off to be doing the job free of cost to me so instead of doing things the right way and removing my front bumper so that all the parts were easily accessible they removed my expensive new headlight and squeezed through that. They didn't tack up the line they fixed and I drove home with it dragging on the road and got home to find out that they broke the back fasteners on my headlight so now my headlight swings in place. I would never recommend Audi Southampton to anyone. Lazy job done by crooks. read more
