I brought in a Jensen audio receiver to have this guy install. He charged 140.00 for install. He let me drive away with line noises and bad radio reception. I come back and his excuse was "20 years of experience I never had line noises problem with modern receiver so I didn' need to check for line noises." It's not his fault. SMH! So he didn' check for line noises. He didn' QA his work but its not his fault. I took off work to bring my car to this guy. He wasted my time and money. His solution was to install some line filter gadget or I buy another receiver and he will reinstall free of charge. Hell no! I'm not wasting anymore time and energy with this guy. Too bad because I went to him to support small business owners instead of going to BestBuy. Now I have to go to Bestbuy for a new install and do it all over again. At least I know with BB, I will get predictable QA and good customer service. Stopped in while shopping around for a price quote on installing some HIDs, and they gave me a very reasonable cost and time estimate on the job. I mentioned I wanted it done asap, and Danny offered to to work on it right away. For an audio place, he sure seemed pretty adept with installing headlights. The HID ballasts and cables seem to be mounted securely, and he did the complete install without the need to take off the front bumper, or remove the wheel well fenders (something that needs to be done on the new gen civics to make accessing the headlight assembly "easier"). The staff seem to be a bunch of jokers, but all pretty nice people. So, if you're thinking of doing any other electrical installs besides audio, stop by this place anyway for pretty reliable quotes. read more

Actually surprises me that they've got 5 star reviews at all. I took my Lexus in to get the stereo installed. They never really seemed to be very personable when I made inquiries about getting work done, but I never paid it any attention so long as the job gets done right. So they installed the stereo for me, and it seemed like they did a good job. But about a year later (I know this is quite a bit of time, so hear me out), my front left speaker started going out. Wasn't sure if it was the installation or if it was another issue. I called them up and told them what was wrong (without pointing any fingers or even blaming them for shoddy workmanship), but the guy on the phone was a bit defensive. So I told them I'd just swing by and talk to them. Upon entering, the guy I talked to on the phone just seemed a bit confused and a bit non-technical. But the guy sitting (yes, sitting and not really acknowledging a customer very well) didn't even look at my car, and just told me I needed a new speaker. And that was it. I didn't mind paying for a diagnosis if the issue wasn't due to shoddy workmanship. But I couldn't even get that far with them. I don't know if they only cater to a specific group, but it's not like I don't have money to spend. It's a Lexus, after all! I'm not cheap, and I'm willing to spend money to get my sound system working right... And who knows, maybe they initially did a fantastic job with the install... I don't know. But due to the unwillingness to really help out a customer who has spent money there before, I just can't give them a good rating on yelp. read more

Went to get a stereo installed and 2 speakers and an amp , dude said they are only doing work for the car dealers now putting in bluetooth Etc and they really aren't doing custom stereo work anymore . First to installed Catz 5500K HID kit, second time to install Fujitsu Nav AVN 6620 Nav system & back up camera, third time to install Pioneer front speakers & Dynamat on my 03 RSX. Their works & finishing are excellent (no screw up, no scratch, etc). They make sure everything works before I leave. Turn around time are quick too. I recently went to Audio Dimensions to have my factory alarm serviced and have a deck installed. Turned out that the 15 year old alarm was on its last legs and Danny recommended a couple of alternatives. I went with a new alarm that was reasonably priced for our needs. I had a 4-channel amplifier and component speakers installed by these guys a couple of years ago. I was not impressed by their performance. They didn't even bother asking me what kind of music I listened to so they can tune the settings to match it to what I listen to. The guy who installed my system was fine tuning the system using an FM Station. The component speakers' crossovers were Duct taped behind the door panels. The wiring was disappointing. Instead of wiring the speaker wires from the amp then directly to each speaker, they wired it from the amp then thru the factory wires behind the receiver. They also ran the power cable to the passenger side firewall but they ran it through the driver side firewall necessitating for a longer power cable, that 's just inefficient. I had to wait another half-hour from the time they estimated it to be done. That part is understandable. The price is good for the installation and the wiring kit they sold me. Overall, everything they did works. They could've done a better job instead of taking shortcuts. In hindsight, I would've spent a bit more for the installation as long as the job is done right. read more
