I've been very impressed with this company and their professionalism. They've been nothing but helpful even with projects that I've done all of the work on and just need some guidance, they've been quick to help, sometimes free of charge. I've had issues with this particular amp I installed and twice they helped troubleshoot the problem like right on the spot. One of the problems was the RCA cables that came with the amp I bought online and I was stuck. I was out of options on my end so I reached out and the owner came outside and figured out what was wrong in like 2 mins and got me on my way with some new rca cables. Stay away from this company. They installed some audio/ video screens in my seat headrests and they have never worked properly since day one. I called because they kept popping out and the owner's wife, at least that's who I think it was, she was an Arabic lady, flat out called me a liar and told me that it was my fault they weren't working. I couldn't believe these people. I am sorry I ever dealt with them. They don't stand behind their workmanship or the products AT ALL. Run the other direction from them - they are very dishonest business people. The owner who responded, Nassar, is the lady I dealt with I believe. For your information you did work on my car and I have documentation to prove it. You did a horrible job and then when I came into your shop to get you all to fix the headrest you refused and you did call me a liar telling me that I did something to them. It was your workmanship that was the problem. You all should not be business owners. I really hope that people will heed my warnings well as others on this site and stay away from this place. Instead of worrying about how I described you, why don't you respond to how you treat your customers and how you do shoddy work. Terrible, Terrible place. Awful! Police had to be called to get our car back because price to repair radio was increased $100 when my wife arrived. Police had to tell manager not to speak to her anymore because he was yelling at my wife in front of our young daughter. Actually the below response is a complete lie. How much time to I have ? I would have given zero stars if possible.... Brought my 2015 RAM 1500 in for a custom headlight install. Bill was EXTREMELY rude to me within the first 45 seconds of me describing what I needed. I should have turned around IMMEDIATELY. So, I needed the headlights installed with the HID kit that I bought online, as well as the pre-installed LED lights (in the headlight) to be wired up in DRL fashion. After 15 minutes, BECAUSE BILL DIDN'T LISTEN, he came back out and told me that my car did not have DRL from the factory..... I already knew that.... he would have to if he had of listened instead of brushing me off.... 45 minutes later they tell me that the RAM has a difficult CANBUS issue that made my HID kit a show stopper. I said ok, understand that (which then they began to lecture me on why not to buy things online...., only problem is that I am a grown ass man and can spend my money where I choose, when I choose to). I had no problem with the fact that they couldn't use my kit.... Anyway to make a long story short, he was about to charge me $200 for absolutely NO FINISHED work, until I went back and talked to the tech who said that the headlights could at least be installed.... Bill was so SPECIAL that he thought even the headlights could no go onto the vehicle.... I asked could we at least do the daytime running lights.... Bill said YES. When I got the Truck back it had no HID, no DRL and I got all of the blame.... After taking my truck to Auto Overhaul around the corner, the VERY EXPERIENCED techs knew instantly what to do... They basically had everything as I desired (LED Bright Whites & Daytime Running Lights) Parts + Labor for around the same price that Audio Excellence charged for a mere housing replacement..... Save your money and go to Auto Overhaul around the corner.... read more

I purchased a new head unit to be installed in my pickup truck. I made it perfectly clear that my goal was to get rid of the wires in my truck. Not only did they not get rid of the wires, but they added 2 wires to my truck. And neither of those wires work. Now I cannot even charge my phone in my vehicle. I drove three hours to go here based on recommendations of friends. I am beyond livid of the product and service that I received here. I was sold a head unit for over 800 dollars that I could have purchased off of the Wal-Mart website for less than 200.00. At this stage I am probably going to just get ahold of an attorney. Also, upon leaving I thought I would be having more work done by their company this work was paid in full before anything was done. No self-worthy company takes 100% deposit. Trying to get that money back from them turned into a shit show. I am over these companies treating their customers in this manner. read more

I trust this place for any aftermarket audio type set ups for vehicles. The owner is super friendly and very pleasent, as well as the front staff. They installed power windows, power locks, a stereo unit and an alarm to my truck. They did it for the lowest price (which is why I went with them) and seemed the most informed and knew what they were doing. Since then, the power window that they installed has broke 2 times (one on the left..one on the right side) over the past 3 years and they were more than happy to fix it very quickly without charging me a dime. I recommend them, they are more knowledgable than Best Buy and have a passion for what they do. read more

Really positive experience at Audio Excellence so far. Great customer service, they know their products, and they don't oversell. Currently installing a new audio system with nav, iPod link, 5-channel amp, sub, speakers, backup camera, and alarm system with 1-mile radius alerts/remote start/alert keyfob. Phil, the sales rep, has been nothing but helpful, informative, patient and responsive throughout the process. He took the time to explain every component to me, go over my options and what they offered, and he didn't try to oversell me. He would state the options, and if I said I didn't need one, he didn't press the issue unless he *really* felt there was something I wasn't considering. I initially nixed the backup camera, because I have backup sensors that work great. Then he asked if I ever pull a trailer - and I do, I have a 20' enclosed trailer - and talked about hitching without someone else to assist, a real advantage of the backup camera I hadn't considered. Other options, like XM/Sirius he immediately dropped when I told him I wasn't interested. Everyone in the shop seemed enthusiastic about what they do. The customer service experience so far has been MILES above what I've found in your average big box electronics store. I spoke with a tech, and with another guy, not sure if he was another sales rep or a manager, but he bought me a soda while I was talking options with Phil. I was lucky enough to see a custom Jeep they worked on for a customer in the showroom, waiting to be picked up. I didn't realize they also did full custom audio systems, interior lighting, trim upgrades, seating, etc. They do a lot more custom work than I expected. I may go back for some interior work at a later date. My system will probably be installed in a about a week, so I'll write a follow up review once it's fully installed, but my first couple of visits have been great. Highly recommended. read more

We're very pleased with their quality of work and staff at that time and decided to return to have an after market head unit with navigation/DVD installed, along with a siriusXM unit, and have the windows tinted on our new 2016 Honda C-RV. We spoke with the owner and also Phil who could not have been more accommodating, courteous, and knowledgable. They ordered the parts needed at a great price ( which is an important factor to me). If I could give this place Zero stars I would. Buyer beware do not leave this guy a deposit for anything. This was the most horrendous experience I've ever had in my life. I told my daughter I would help her get a new stereo for her car so she could have blue tooth and streaming. So she takes her car to this place and got quoted for a Kenwood stereo with bluetooth/streaming installed for $430 or so. She give them a deposit of $215 and left, the place told her they would have it installed later that day. When she returned she was told that they would not be able to install that Stereo because the car came with this feature (DSP), and the stereo was not compatible with this kind of system. They told her nobody could install an aftermarket stereo in this car because of the (DSP) So they offered her an alternative that would allow her to have bluetooth & streaming but it would cost $560 and they would have to order the parts. When she explained that to me, I asked her why so much if your not getting anything replaced. She said she wasn't sure about the details and wanted me to call so that they could explain them to me. So I spoke to the sales person who explained, a module was going in the trunk connect to the stereo and add the bluetooth and streaming, it would have a microphone to speak to and an Aux cord input. This was on a Wednesday, I asked him how long he thought it would take, he said he doubted that they would get it done that week but no later than the end of the next week. After 2 1/2 weeks went by I called them again and asked them if everything was going O.K. He was very polite and said he would look into it that it doesn't usually take this long. After over a month again nothing, so I called the salesperson and said this is going on to long and we wanted to go another route At that point he told me the name band of the blue tooth module and that there was no other alternative, nobody would be able to install an after market stereo. I looked up module on the internet and found it on Amazon with 2 day shippiing. There were also some other features he did not mention and I wanted to find out what exactly we were getting, I made copies of all the components and went to the store. When I got to the store the owner Naser B. came over and took me in his office. I told who I was and that I wanted to find out what exactly we were getting. He said he didn't know , and said that he had just called the salesperson because it was his day off and he didn't answer the phone. So I said that's alright, can you just look up the order on the computer and see what we're getting exactly. At this point he just holds up his phone to my face to show me that he called the salesperson, and says I already told you I already called him and he is not answering. So I said well just look up the order and see what it is, do we have to talk to the salesperson. He stood from his chair and got in my face and yelled "now your calling me a f..king liar." I said no, I just wanted you to look up the order and get the details of what we're are getting., Again he yells " are you calling me a F..king liar." I was shocked and then he told me to get out of his office which I did, And I say to him can't you just look on your computer and see the order and he says, NO we don't do that. I want you to get out of my store. I don't want you to come back here. I said what about the deposit ? He yells you want your deposit you try to get it, you think your a man, try to get you deposit, I'll show you what a man is. I can't believe what is happening, and I'm thinking what is wrong with this guy. So I say, I want to get my deposit back. And again yelling "your not getting Sh.t back, you want it you try to get it. Then more calmly he say you do whatever you thnk you have to but you are not getting SH.t back. I just left. Needless to say we did get our deposit back by contesting his charge at the bank. This guy is completely unprofessional and I would never do business with him again, and buyer beware do not leave this guy a deposit for anything. Got it done somewhere else much cheaper. I had a rattle in one of the doors in my car and assumed it was a blown speaker. Called around for prices and also checked Best Buy. The kid at BB was nice but didn't know squat about his products or what I would need for my car. They were also the highest price when you factor the installation. Audio Excellence was in the middle of the price range. Because I was in a hurry, I went to a different installer who said he could install speakers for $100 pair and could do my job the next day. When I arrived he did not realize I had sub woofers in my doors. (That fact alone made me leave. In my opinion, a pro installer should know what's in a Mustang.) He said my subs were blown and the full range speakers in the car were marginal and should be replaced. Total recommendation = $700 (+\-) for speakers alone. His phone quote was $100 pair (installed) for 2 pairs of speakers. I stopped at Audio Excellence in Oviedo for a second opinion. I did not say anything about the other place because I did not want to influence what AE would recommend. The salesman who helped me was Phil. Phil went out to the car, turned up the radio, pushed the door panel and told me he thought there might be a coin inside the door causing all the rattling. He priced out a new head unit (at my request) but said he would not worry about the subs since they are a weird size and virtually impossible to find other than thru the dealer. Buying dealer subs would do nothing more than replace what I already have with the same thing. No point in doing that. They have Pioneer 3 way full range speakers for $159 per pair (installed). I opted to replace just the full range speakers and see how I like the sound before installing a new head unit. Phil was good with that. I am at AE as I write this review and they are installing 2 pairs of full range speakers while I wait. Clean showroom, friendly staff, knowledgeable and pro installation team. Best of all, the price I was quoted is the price they are charging. Oh yeah - Phil was right - they found a loose penny in one of the doors and my subs are fine. Glad I didn't waste $700 at the other place. Highly recommended. read more

This place SUX. I had a Double Din head unit installed here in DEC 2011. My Audio cable has been messed up for over a year and I just ripped my dash apart to pull out my radio. Finally I get a chance to see the jacked up wiring these people did. They converted my Audio cable into an AV cable, then back into an Audio cable??? And they even converted it incorrectly. I'm still confused as to why they did this? So I just took out their conversion cable and put the Audio cable directly into the back of my head unit and now the system works perfectly. They don't solder or use wire connectors for their connections either. They just cut and twist the cables together with electrical tape. Audio Excellence? Far from it. They do radio installs equivalent to that of a middle school dropout. I've heard that this place does crappy installs on purpose so they can get more money from you when you bring your car back to them. I would stay clear of this place. I brought my Cadillac XLR-V in for a infotainment system upgrade. They put a Kenwood system that works better then stock with my Bose speakers. I am new to Florida and I was in pursuit to find a car shop that specializes in audio. I found Audio Excellence down the street from my law school. The location is conveniently located by the expressway and not too far from downtown orlando. The staff here was exceptional! They treated me like family, as it is a family business. Most car shops try to get over on females especially younger ones such as myself, but here they did not. They even matched the price of a competitor and had my part shipped over night so that I could get the work done before my weekend trip. Sam was who I came in initial contact with. He helped me pick the best stereo for the best price, and he even threw in a part at a great discount after he already knocked the price down to match a competitors price. I am very familiar with contracts and agreements, so I was pleased that the products and services came with a warranty free of any additional charges. The audio excellence crew installed a new radio and tinted my windows within 2 1/2 hours. To top it off, they offered refreshments and even wifi. I went to Audio Excellence a few months ago to have my car inspected for my insurance company. This place seemed really nice, clean, and they looked like they knew what they were doing. Not to mention the staff was extremely friendly to me, and i mostly talked to the owner himself, nice guy! He even gave me his personal phone number, which I wish to God I kept now because I would be using it after my experience... On this fact, and all of the amazing reviews this place received, I had decided to get my cars tint job done here- $189, not the cheapest price that I have seen around here, but I thought it must mean they do a great job (and they offered a life-time warranty). I show up for my appointment last weekend, my boyfriend following me so that I didn't have to sit there for 3 hours, and low and behold, the tinter was out sick... but hmm.. when I went there the week BEFORE scheduling my appointment, the tinter was on vacation...? Which one is it? I do not like being lied to, and I do not like unprofessionalism. The man offered me 10 dollars off of my tint job and that I would have to reschedule at another time, he took down my cell phone number and says "we will call you on Monday..." They couldn't even reschedule me right there, which was weird to me... wouldn't the front desk rep have access to the tinters schedule? It is now Saturday AFTER that Monday, and I never got a call ... Really pisses me off especially since THEY messed up, never called me to let me know that the tinter is 'out sick' and I drove all the way over there from my house, boyfriend following all the way over, just to be turned away AND never called back. In about 30 minutes, I will be leaving to get my tint done somewhere else competent enough to keep my appointment... I really hate unorganized businesses, and was pretty shocked that this place did this to me, based on these reviews. I was even considering giving them another chance, but I never received a call which was adding insult to injury in my eyes. Like I said, I was treated great, staff is amazing it seems, but I was also forgotten about not once, but TWICE in the same week... This place seemed great upfront, but they don't seem to care enough about their customers. The name of the company is very appropriate as Nasa and his crew offer nothing short of excellence with customer service, excellent product offerings, and very clean installations. We went to the Semoran location and I must say this family and the way they practice business is top notch. They encountered an issue while installing my stereo and instead of just patching it and charging me more money, they brought me out to the vehicle, showed me the issue explained it and confirmed that I was alright moving forward. We ended up buying 2 stereos from them that day because my husband got jealous I had such a nice one. Then we made an appointment to remove some bad tint off his car and honestly the next time I need aftermarket stuff for my sound system I'm going back. This place is the worst Auto service store I've ever been to. Went in because it looked clean and professional. They put all their fancy gadgets on the floor room to give you the impression that they can do it all. Well just let me tell, they could do nothing for me but take my money and then threaten to keep it, after I had waited over a month for a part which they still had not received and could not give me a hard answer as to when it was coming in. When I first went in, it was for a simple Head unit, which they said they had and would be able to get done by the end of the day. I left the car and went an ran errands with my boyfriend. After I returned they said they could not install that head unit into my car because of the factory unit my car had. (BMW 5 series) comes with this thing called DSP, which means they had to get a unit that was compatible with it, cause the rest of the system, speakers, amp, everything was all tied together. They said they just had the same experience with another BMW 7 series, which the owner of that car decided to gut the whole system and start new. Here's the thing, the other BMW was still in the shop being finished. My factory Head unit says DSP right on the face when you look at it, and they acted like they didn't realize it was a DSP until they started working on it. Why not just look at the face of Radio where it says DSP, instead of taking my money $246.00 for a deposit to start the work and then act like, oh we didn't know. Then they said they had a fix for it, but had to order a part from California, and the total was going to be over $600, since they had my deposit and I was half way committed, I went a head and went for it. After over a month the part had still not come in, I said I just wanted my money back and the owner became very beligerent and threaten to keep my money, because they already ordered the part, then they said they would partially refund me but have to keep a 20% restocking fee, for a part they never had. I went to bank and since the receipt still had the original head unit, rather than the new system they said would fix it. I contested the charge. Apparently the owner did not want a negative charge back on his account, so he decided it was in his best interest to refund the whole amount. I've read other reviews about this same place and their Altamonte Springs store and all I can say is, this place is a rip off and the owners are shady. Do not give them a deposit. A restocking fee for a part they never had,.... HOW RIDICULOUS !!!! STAY AWAY, DO NOT GIVE DEPOSIT.... read more

When my 2004 Honda Civic's aftermarket starter kill kept my car from starting following a battery failure, they took my poor little guy and figured out what was going on. Ultimately, we stripped that bad boy out and they even took care of replacing the battery! I was super impressed with their professionalism, pricing, and promptness. Went to audioexcellence_cfl to ONLY get an aftermarket push button installed for my light bar. This is the result. Cut wires, blown fuse, addition of cheaper wire, removal of my wire, unplugging of my relay, possible blown light bar, added an extra ground, a crows nest tied together, and now short of $95 for absolutely no work. I payed for vandalism of my light bar and its wires. They told me that I needed a new relay because rough country's is not good enough... Lies. Unfortunately after having this done, I called roughcountry and they easily told me what to do. Simple as connecting 2 wires together. Mistakenly went to the "experts" to have a simple job done so I wouldn't mess anything up, but I should have just called rough country in the first place. A mistake I will never make again. If you ever need anything done, never even think about audioexcellence_cfl. Horrible mechanics, staff, and owners. Extremely un-knowledgeable and they tried blaming me for everything. This place is terrible. The customer service is 1/10 just because they are there. All the items in the show room are over priced, not only are the over priced but they also have to "look up" the item for the price. I've been in the store twice now and both times I've met the manager (Bill), at first he seemed nice. Then as the conversation proceeded, he became vulgar and sarcastic as if it didn't matter if I chose his service or not. The first time I went into the store I asked the price which was 675$ for an installation of 2 12" subs with an amp and a hi lo converter. The second time he changed it from 675 to 575 then I correct him; then he said it was going to be in the 900 dollar range?! I also brought my friend into the store, he wanted an FM modulator. He was asking my friend for question when he already knew the answer to his question. Not only were the prices high but just buying from them would decease the install by 60$. I would strongly recommend looking for another place to buy from, or just doing it your self. Overall this place was unperfessional and looking to take your money.
