And here comes January 5 and I called them to see if I could still come up because I don't want to drive all that way and they not be open so I called and they said wait until next weekend. so once again, I waited around until the next weekend came by and they wanted to reschedule again and I asked for my money back and I waited a couple days and my money is still not in my account so I don't know if they're scamming me or what but I suggest not to go here.

I scheduled to have touch stereo installed in 2006 Cayman to replace the working stock stereo. Arrived at scheduled time 10am and returned around 1205pm. Stock radio was still in car but not working now. I was not told this immediately, they were trying to get stock radio to work again. Then I was told they couldn't remove the stock radio. Then told no audio installation business would be able to remove my stock stereo and I would have to take to the dealer. So I left with NO WORKING STOCK STEREO, small dimple in my console due to worker and thinking I needed to go to dealer and spend $$$$$ to have a stock stereo removed. On top of all that I wasted 3 hours! WELL, AUDIO PLUS WAS WRONG! I scheduled an appointment with Hook It Up Customs. Well I didn't need a dealer to remove my stock stereo and Hook It Up Customs could not believe an audio business that says it installs audio equipment couldn't do this job! So if you want the job done right the first time, you might want to AVOID AUDIO PLUS in Harrison.

I highly recommend you don't take your car here for any kind of car audio just like the Google…read morereviews say,I had an absolute nightmare. So I made an appointment at 8:30 for my 2022 forester sport and was told I would be out the door by 11:30 So I showed up to check out what they had and found something that I thought would be decent And agreed to let Matt (the installer) put the stuff in my car, And he let me watch him do the entire process pretty much which was cool and all seem to be going well until he realized my car wouldn't start after hooking everything up and then he claimed it was my battery and tried to jump it and even tried putting another battery in my car with no success He nicked a wire on my harness trying to feed a power wire through my firewall and had to cut open one of the wires on my wire harness because he thought that was the problem and that wasn't even the issue clearly so after hours an hours they sent me home in a Range Rover at 3am that damn near had a flat tire and a dead battery SO I had to have my neighbor jump me the following day just to come back the next day to find out "it was a fuse" but now have a check engine light on my car and Chris and Matt both told me that if I drove my car 200 miles it would go away and tried to convince me with screenshots from Google AI and even I knew that was not true.lied straight to my face.so I Essentially paid $1300 To have a check engine light put on my vehicle for a PCM code, which was a open circuit issue so I took my car to Subaru just to find out my PCM Relay was broken and the repair done on my wire harness was not good enough to keep my electric warranty because it wasn't just one wire it was three wires that were damaged and my boot for the harness was destroyed so I lost my warranty on a car I got 1 month ago getting a system installed at this place and I got a quote for $7500 from Subaru in damages and tried to ask the owner directly if he would give me his insurance to fix my car which he turned around and insulted me right afterwards saying " Yeah, when you left the other day, you kicked up a rock and now I need $43,000 and need your info" which was insane that the owner would downplay damage caused to my vehicle and disregarding everything and they just were giving me the runaround telling me oh it's this oh it's that We will get you together, but nothing about getting my car back to how I brought it to them And they even went as far as trying to tell me they wanted to work on my car the following weekend, After I thought about it, I thought why would I let these people who caused me over $7000 in damage for a small system work on my car again so I'm not going to I took it to a professional over at Audio Sensations in westchester and they literally fixed everything they did wrong and got it done right the first time and I was able to get my damaged wires properly fixed instead of just taped up so after paying these guys almost $1300 I had to go somewhere else And pay even more money to fix a broken pcm relay,3 wires on my harness and my boot mended to get my car back in acceptable condition because the owner clearly didn't care an honestly I could not trust these guys to work on my car again and even took the other shop up on more upgrades for my Subarus sound system because they actually are trust worthy and told me they would never have a problem, giving me their insurance if they damaged my car,my experience overall was terrible honestly and I won't be coming back and can't recommend this place to anyone,PS the sub they sold me blew not even a week after getting it So I went to Xtreme sound and got a even better setup, crazy experience lol what a waste of 1300+ dollars...

Install a previously purchased car amplifier and a previously purchased subwoofer cabinet…read morecontaining 2-12 inch subwoofers. where should I start first of all? I am no car stereo installer but I have done many of my own. It just so happened. I was very very busy with work and I wanted the system installed so I had to find an installer well this was a big mistake. Just to do the install which meant running a line converter actually put in the subs in the trunk and connecting the amp $850. all the work was done in the trunk. They didn't have to run the main power of the wire up or anything so it wasn't difficult so I had a few months started having problems with it so I had the time so I went ahead and got in here and seeing what was going on. The line converter they put in there melted! that could've caused a car fire. The next biggy I seen was 50ft of rca cable that was bunched up and stuffed underneath the service area in the trunk. Both the line converter and the RCA cables could've probably been purchased on Temu for $1.50 they were that cheap. That prompted me to just undo everything they did and redo it and man was it a mess the cheapest stuff you could think of they used and horrible at running wires and hiding this and putting the all the interior panels back together is a horrible job all the way around. they didn't quote me on the job originally they said well you know it depends on how much work it is. I don't think that should've included four hours worth of breaks for two people anyway either way, believe me it wasn't $850 worth of work if I do it for somebody I would probably charge them 150+ wire and line converter which would've been a different line converter of course. That said I wouldn't let them work on somebody's car that I didn't like. Worst experience I ever had in a car stereo store of any caliber. I would be glad to give him a zero but you have to do at least a one. I mean I took $850 and flushed it in the toilet because there was nothing that they put in there that I kept and everything they did I had to redo that said seriously I wouldn't have no work done there if I were you

There was ONE person that worked with from 2002 until he left, probably 2018 ish. Great guy. Would listen, then show options, not push for XYZ and unload with the "benefits" of purchases that are fully first world luxury items. The past few years - back to people who will tell you that whatever is in your hand is perfect for you if they think that is what your socioeconomic status can afford. Outside of that, their prices are reasonable, not competitive. The checkout line takes forever, even if there are only one or two people in front as they don't monitor the length of the line and then get sales people to the register with any kind of expediency. It's a fun trip to see a vast accumulation of tech. But it's not so fun when I expect to see someone with a cattle prod come around the corner, looking a bit like someone from Falling Down, expecting me to let them sticker my box to receive sale credit even though they didn't help me select it. And, yes, I agree with the other posts: their service department is...atrocious. If they do know what they're doing, perhaps it's management (fiscal pressures) that don't let them do their jobs, fully. If you go to them expecting any sort of accurate diagnosis with your hardware problem, not to mention fixing it: it's probably better to figure it out yourself if you have that aptitude. If you have a warranty - easy peasy. They give you a gift card and you go to town and get whatever it is you need when your thing breaks. And, of course, warranty sales are VERY important to the sales people. You'll hear about it several times from several people with any purchase from 50 bucks and up.
