I went here to get my iPhone fixed after the iPhone support person said I should take it here to get it fixed. Well, turns out they couldn't fix it, but the guy was direct with me, knew what he was doing, explained the problem, and why they couldn't fix it, and didn't charge me anything. So not successful, but they did what they could, and that's all a guy can do isn't it? Other than that, this is a BestBuy. They've got lots of tech stuff and games and appliances and stuff like that. I have been going to Best Buy for car speakers for the last 20 years. I have been to the location in Hamiltucky several times over the past few years to get work done on my speakers. This last experience with them has been an absolute JOKE. I came in to get a simple speaker replacement. The guy who worked on my car, Shawn pretty much completely ruined my sound system. Shawn is the longest working audio tech in the area and he said that he has no idea what is wrong with my car, but when I came there to get the speakers replaced that was the only issue that I was dealing with. I have been back there 5 times since then. I literally just left, and my audio is still not right. There is a manager there named Hollie who wears a jean jacket and jeans everyday. I spoke with them about the issue and there was absolutely ZERO done about it as if there was not a care in the world. Derrick is another manager that I spoke with there. He has a dirty beard and beady eyes. He is also totally useless and has no idea how to handle customer service issues at all. The other audio tech that works in the garage doing installs literally looks like the Hob Goblin from the spider man cartoons. He seems to be in a mountain dew and uppers induced trance at all times, but he is a horrible person as well who has zero customer service acumen whatsoever and treats paying customers as though he is not at work. There are serious issue with this location all around and something should be done. I have tried to file a formal complaint against this store but Best Buy does not even have an appropriate customer service number. You can call any store and they will send you to a call center somewhere outside of the US. Best Buy is GARBAGE, but if you can steer VERY clear of the Hamiltucky location. It is full of people pretending to be at work who have NO IDEA what they are doing or how to address customer issues. Throw that whole part of town away. read more

I don't think I can express how frustrated I am with this store. I purchased a gift card from here for Christmas. I confirmed online with Best Buy the transaction went through. My bank sees the purchase. However, the third party doesn't see the card was ever loaded. Discussed with a rep online. They asked me to go to my bank. I went in to the store and they have no record of me ever talking to anyone online. The manger tried his best but could not do anything for the situation. At the end of the day the manager of the store told me to report the transaction as fraudulent to my bank. Something that was sold in his store, is a fraudulent purchase. They were extremely NOT busy and so I thought it would be a good opportunity to get what I needed. I waited by their Kindle reader display for 15 minutes and waved down 2 workers. They both said they would send someone back to help me. After 15 minutes no one showed up. Then a manager came back close to me and talked to another employee. I kindly asked if she could help me. This location is sub par compared to the other Best Buy locations we have visited. While they do have a great selection of products, their customer service is lacking. If you can find someone to help, they will often times tell you they can't help. If you need help, you are stuck to figure it out on your own. Do your research before shopping at this location, as my multiple visits have had the same experience. My recommendation would be to purchase online and pick up in store. They often have stock, but when you go into the store they can't seem to find it. read more

As a My BestBuy Elite & Total Tech Support Member (At the time of writing) I have to say that 2020 has brought the best out of Best Buy! One of my latest purchased here was a pair of Jabra Elite Active 75 ear buds. At that time I went with Active style earbuds thinking it would help with keeping in the ear. Well, they failed miserably. They wouldn't stay in while mowing the lawn or other simple yard work. I was able to use my extended return and exchange policy to return and try the Apple Airpods. This is where the FIVE start experience started. Since appointments were required at the time. I was able to walk in and have practically the entire store to myself. I also didn't have to wait or look for assistance, I had a dedicated staff at my right. Easy checkout, because there was no line. Best Buy has had the option of in store pickup for several years. The store is very depressing. I was looking for Blue Ray DVD player, wireless over the ear headset, sound bar and a car camera. First thing it was difficult to find any assistance. Several items were only available if you were willing to accept a return or a damaged box. I don't know about you, but I was taught to stay away from merchandise in damaged containers. In the past, I've always been impressed by BB no matter what location or state I found myself in. This is the second BB store within 20 miles of one another that I've been disappointed in. I hope that they rebound after this nonsense with the virus. In fact, most of the issues are mostly supply issues. Like the majority of other Best Buys, this location is just not run that well. I went on Black Friday and the place was just chaos. I didn't even go during "prime time"..I was probably there around 11 am. Don't get me wrong it was still packed so much so that you could hardly move, but I'm sure it was much worse earlier..you could kind of tell by how wrecked the store was. The problem is they weren't even trying to control the chaos. They set the aisles up very awkwardly..making navigation throughout the store very difficult. It was pretty much to a point of having to completely remove yourself from an aisle if someone else was trying to get through. It was next to impossible to "browse" sections. Yes, the deals they had there were pretty great..I've never said Best Buy didn't have good deals..the issue with all of their locations is that they are run poorly. As a kicker for the end of this experience, they had 3 cashiers open for the entire store. THREE! So many people you could hardly move and THREE cashiers ringing. That is INSANE! I shouldn't be surprised though..they (as in the majority of Best Buys, this one included) rarely have more than 1 cashier on a a normal day..and I've had to wait 20 minutes with just two customers in front of me before. Seriously Best Buys..get it together already. Again, I'm giving two stars to a one star review because I still go to these stores all the time..but seriously..figure this stuff out and make things better or else you're all going to close down. read more

This store was difficult to find. It's in the southeast corner of the Bridgewater Falls outdoor mall, near the intersection of S.R. 129 and the S.R. 4 bypass. While it's officially in Fairfield township, it feels more of an extension of Hamilton, to me. I spoke with a few friendly employees, which made it worth the trip. It's not quite big enough to be called medium but it's not tiny, either. Other than Target and Staples on the other side of the shopping center, there isn't much competition for most electronics. It was crowded today, so it was good to see that they could keep smiles on their faces. Best Buy is notorious for pricing things higher than retail to allow for their instant rebates, so check prices carefully. During sales promotions, they can go below good prices to pull you into the store. The only downside to this store is getting out of the shopping center. read more

Went to the Best Buy in Bridgewater Falls on Sunday Jan. 12, 2020, in need of help with an Oculus that i bought my son for Christmas. Walked back to the computer section and was immediately greeted by Gus. Very friendly, so very helpful, knew everything about the product I was asking about. Let me tell you i am so very computer stupid and he was very patient and helpful. I am a general manager at a reataurant so i am in customer service as well. So i know how hard it is to find good help these days. And let me tell you this kid was my saving grace! He deserves recognition. And when i returned this evening with my son to show him what Gus showed me, he walked up to me and remembered why i was in there 2 days ago. Thank you so much Gus!! I went to Best Buy to upgrade my Phone after being lied to at a Sprint location. I worked with Brandon in Mobile and the service was fantastic. He educated me on the products and didn't push a sale on me. He also helped me find the best products to protect my phone and gave me a selection instead showing me the most expensive. He took the extra step to go over how to transfer my iPhone to a GalaxyS8. (I didn't want to wait so I asked if I could do it from home) I will be back to Best Buy in the future. If you do not know what Best Buy is, I think you might live under a rock. I'll skip the explanation, I think we all get what Best Buy is and what they sell. Best Buy at Bridgewater Falls is a pretty good Best Buy as far as they go. I am neither stunned nor disappointed. This store is a decent-sized store with a good amount of stock and variety. I admit to stopping in more than I should, even if it is just to browse. Pricing at this store is commensurate with other Best Buys. It's a national chain, so the pricing tends to be national. They're a little more expensive than Wal Mart, and a bit less than most - in other words, competitive. The quality of the products is better than what you would find at a discount chain, though, and that's certainly something to consider. What I love about Best Buy, and this store in particular, are two key things. First, the Geek Squad Black Tie extended warranties. I don't buy them for everything, but having used them a few times, I just love the service I get from Best Buy. No hassle. When my Bluetooth headset died, I walked in, I handed it over, they gave me a replacement, and I was out the door. Same thing when my wife brought back a steamer that died. Simply no hassle, and it gets taken care of. I used to work at CompUSA when they still had storefronts, and those extended warranties were always a hassle for customers. The other thing I like is the mobile phone upgrades. If you go into the provider stores, they will play around with mail in rebates, crazy pricing, and all sorts of bizarre things that drive you nuts. Best Buy, I walk in, tell them what I want, and I'm upgraded in 30 minutes, no mail in rebates, no hassle, and no extra charges on my bill. Dealing with them has been sooooo much better than doing upgrades at my provider. This store does a GREAT job with upgrades. The only down side with this store is that they do carry a little less stock and variety than the Tri-County store, but it's never been an issue for me. read more

Okay, so I'm not a electronic freak. I don't run to the store for the latest digital camera, I definitely don't purchase cd's, and a flatscreen TV is not in my future anytime soon. But, I needed to hook a Mac laptop up to a a tv. This certainly sounded like a job for Best Buy which brings me to this review. Simply put, they need to train their associates better. I can understand that not everyone can know everything about a store as big as Best Buy, but there has to be someone who has a clue. I walked in and was helped a nice enough guy. I explained to him what I needed and he immediately pulled a cable that had HTMI hook-ups on both ends. I asked "So, this will definitely hook my Mac laptop up to a TV?". He pursed his lips together and nodded. "Yes, ma'am", he said. Two days later I decided to check the cord before I headed down to an event that I needed it for. Well, well, well. Be shocker, the cord did NOT fit into my computer so that was definitely not going to work. In a hurry, I drove down to Best Buy and started searching for something that would work. I was again helped by a friendly man who preceded to drag me from one end of the store to the next. He explained to me with frustration that this wasn't his department so he didn't know where the piece I needed was kept. We were joined by two other employees, one being a manager, who both scratched their heads in confusion and finally decided they didn't have what I need but another store might. At this my blood is boiling, so I ask "Well, can you find out who does?", probably a little more curtly than I should have. I'm pulled over to the opposite end up the store and wait for the manger to call some mainline to find out who has the piece. Twenty minutes later he discovers the piece is the piece is no longer carried by Best Buy and I'll need to go to an Apple store. So 30 minutes later I'm walking out of the store empty handed, having been helped by four people who really had no idea what was going on and I have to drive 30 minutes to purchase something else. I made an appointment to have the battery replaced in my iPhone 7 and drove 60 some miles to get there and the geek lady told me the she would have to run diagnostics on the iPhone. After the testing she said your battery holds 83% of the capacity it did when it was new and I can't replace the battery if it shows more than 75%. I said I am not asking for a warranty replacement but will gladly pay the full price. She said I am not allowed to replace a battery that shows over 75% of the new capacity. I was very upset and called Apple Tech support and the tech supervisor said he would call the Best Buy location and tell them to replace the battery. He did call and talked to the lady and she still refused to replace the battery. The tech supervisor was also unable to explain why they would have such a policy and said he would arrange to send me a prepaid mailer and replace the battery for free because of the way Best Buy did me after driving such a long distance to get there. I am very Happy that Apple is assisting me in getting a new battery but very disappointed in Best Buy and can not recommend the Geek Squad for repair services. I would have went to the Apple Store but they closed down again last week because of an uptick in Covid 19. I have had batteries replaced at the Apple store several times and there was never any issue regardless of how much capacity the battery had. When I go to Costco to buy new tires they don't measure my tread and refuse to sell me tires if they aren't nearly bald they sell me new tires. If Best Buy keeps these practices up they will go the way of Sears. read more

Remote Starter!!! Beware I received a gift for a remote starter & had it installed early 2018. I have had nothing but trouble since. I / our business owns a GMC Terrain and have used up all of our road side assistance, removal of the remote starter and paid over $1000.00 out of pocket on expenses likely caused from an "improper installation of remote starter" ( Bill Delord stated) . It started with a drained battery, doors locking while keys in the ignition, no start & finally after 4-5 tows earlier this year, the dealership replaced the starter and repaired the wires. I have been to Best Buy during some of this but have called after the repairs and have been transferred, told I'd be called back by the Geek Squad, left on hold etc. etc. No return calls. On 20 July my went to the Best Buy at Bridgewater Falls to buy an Ipad. She took her old Ipad to have the data transferred to the new one. They claim they transferred the data to the cloud, but were unable to retrieve the data and had wiped her Ipad of data before discovering this error. They claim it is her fault an treated her like the criminal instead of the victim. One of the basics of data handling is to not erase data until one has it saved in the new location. I would not recommend their services to anyone based on this experience. read more

The worst retail experience of my life. Should be called "Worst Buy". Went into buy a radio for my car I ordered it one week before online and when I went to the store there was no equipment there. I explained to the lead person there that I went to the online and ordered the radio and the installation. She told me there was nothing she could do and I would have to come back. I explained I took the day off to get the installation of the radio done and she said she'd really didn't care. They were rude ganged up on me and once they found out my last name looked at me in a way that made me feel very uncomfortable they were trying to agitate me and they raise their voices.
