I just purchased a $1,200 remote control for my entertainment system. Emanuel had little more than left my house when I noticed the remote doesn't work properly. I recently purchased a NEW HOME in Indio, and needed a 70" LED TV installed along with a XBOX ONE system and a Yamaha Sound bar. I found Audio Video Concepts on YELP and decided to give them a call, and I am so GLAD that I did! Emanuel was professional and ON TIME! He quickly made sure my TV was hung properly over the Fireplace! He connected the XBOX ONE through the pre-fabricated AV connection in the wall that turned out to be defective as the HDMI connection seemed to create a RED STATIC on the SCREEN. He returned twice to ensure that the install was done properly and did a lot of troubleshooting to determine the cause of the issues I was having with RED STATIC in the image on the screen, and re-wired everything direct to the TV bypassing the defective wall jack! We lost any sound with our TV. And with everything that is hooked up to it I was at a loss. I called & the person that answered ( sorry I didn't catch his name!) Patiently took his time & walked me thru troubleshooting it. After trying the last thing I had to reboot the TV which took forever and I'm happy to report it worked. I purchased a new TiVo Bolt+ and 5 TiVo mini's. I needed an Ethernet cable run from my router to the TiVo Bolt+ in order to setup a MOCA network which would serve as the backbone for the TiVo mini's. Emanuel is a nice guy and he brought along two assistants. Both of which only work part time for Emanuel and it was clear they are still learning the business. Emanuel had quoted me an hourly rate of $125.00 but I thought I would be getting 2 people that were qualified technicians. That's not what I got. I had purchased a special filter from TiVo that helps with the installation of the MOCA network. I gave it to Emanuel and he said that we didn't need it. Time-Warner had already installed a filter. After literally hours on the phone with technical support, TiVo suggested that we install the filter that I purchased from TiVo. That fixed the problem right away. To be fair, Emanuel and his guys were here for 10 hours and only charged me for 7. He recognized that they had been going round and round without getting anywhere. When they left, I found out that the remote controls hadn't been setup correctly so it was difficult to watch TV. I hired another company to come out and program the remote controls and clean up some of the wiring that Audio Video Concepts had installed. Nice guys but I wouldn't use them again. read more

The phone numbers he gave us for electronic repair were not helpful--one, the phone was disconnected, the other, the man doesn't do it any more.
