I had to go back with days as the bite was painful even with drinking water. I am no dentist and can not self treat. I had to go back 2 second time with a week and the dentist waving his hands in the air simply said, he can't do anything!!! When I voice my frustration. He refused me any further treatment and said I could go see a different dentist. I followed a medical practitioner's advise to preventive care and am now left with pain and suffering, neither of which I had, had gone to his office for a free dental cleaning. Today, he replaced a crown that had come off, and his work prompted me to write this review. He first had to reshape the tooth structure under the crown and prepare the tooth and then re-cement the crown. There was no discomfort and everything was fully explained. The crown feels great. The office staff is also very professional and courteous. Highly recommend this office, and in particular, Dr. Lenoir.

My crown popped off and I looked around for anyone on Delta Dental... I called and they set up a appointment for 45 minutes later. Just enough time to fill out easy online new patient forms... showed up and was created by the cutest most polite puppy. The receptionist was excellent and I was checked in quickly. Waited less than 10 minutes and they brought me in. Great people skills and super fast. They had been able to pull up all my records and were able to even do xrays with no stress. Very high tech. Super quick work and my crown is back on. Great prices as well. Side funny... I was wearing crocs and they pointed out that I could go over to the "sugar shack" to get a free donut... wonderfully nice and great people!!! She just wanted the abscess taken care of. They tried to make her get filling. She said no, she was already in too much pain. The dentist acknowledged the infection, but refused to do anything about it. Refused to even give her antibiotics. We spent 3 hours the next day at Med Express. That Dr. took ten seconds to tell her she needed antibiotics. I have NEVER in 59 years even heard of a Dr who refused to give antibiotics to someone with an infection.

They were speaking on the phone to other patients and kept a friendly and calm demeanor and tone. I met with the dental hygienist Amanda H. and she was so patient and kind. I expressed that I was a coward and she was so compassionate and she had a gentle hand. She explained every step of the process and put my mind at ease. After a short while, Dr. Wong came in and did his examination. He was so nice and had the best bedside manner. He was efficient and thorough and answered all my questions. The not so good part is a bit lengthier unfortunately and sort of based on my personal experience. A little back story is that I'm a disabled vet, so generally, all of my care is handled at the VA hospital. Occasionally, when they are very backed up and overwhelmed, they will outsource you to a place in town and foot the bill for it though. Enough back story... Last year, I needed to have a new oral appliance (think like a retainer) made for my sleep apnea when my old one was damaged and the VA sent me here. This place gets the referral from the VA and I have my appointment to come in to have the imprint/mold made to make the appliance. Awesome! Except... they won't make the mold until they do a cleaning. Fair enough. It has been about a year since my last one. Let's do it. But wait... It is going to be a BIG job, so they want to break it up into two deep cleaning sessions and only do half of my mouth each time. *Sigh* Okay. Whatever gets me closer to being able to sleep again. Two separate cleaning appointments later and I go back for another appointment to have my imprint made and, wouldn't you know, I have a cavity that needs filling and they can't make the imprint until after that gets filled. *Annoyed sigh* After that filling, they can't make my imprint because they aren't happy with one of my previously done fillings, and can't (or won't) make it until after they rip out the filling that is already there and redo it. *Frustrated grunt* But they handle all the insurance stuff with the VA, so I just let them do it. I am still in UNBEARABLE pain a week later. I call because at this point, I am pretty sure they messed something up with the filling because even my wisdom teeth removal stopped hurting after two days. They will happily schedule me to come in and check if they messed up... After they clear it with my insurance and receive confirmation for payment. Which was the first time I actually got upset because I am in constant pain, still can't sleep, and they are charging to see if they messed up... Everything gets cleared up and I finally get to go back in after they are sure they will get paid. Obviously they say they did everything right, but they want to schedule another appointment for me to see about a root canal or extraction. But, they will not make my imprint until after I take care of that tooth that is "not messed up". At this point, my perception is that they were intentionally drawing out services to get the VA to pay for them. Whether or not that is actually the case, I still had to reach out to the VA, who did agree that it felt like I was being strung along and was no closer to getting the imprint for my sleep device. They immediately sent me to someone else who DID make the imprint and the device and I was finally able to sleep about 1.5 months later. Again, this is just my perception of my experience here, but I am very happy that I was not the one having to pay for every single appointment, especially a follow-up when I was pretty sure they messed it up.

Setting up appointments was rather simple and the office was technology forward, clean, bright and new. The building was recently renovated and they have a large parking lot. However, it was obvious that behind their fancy facade lies the drive to pad their bottom line. My first check up here was pretty comprehensive with all the x-rays being taken and teeth properly scaled. This took approximately 45 minutes into the hour long appointment. The hygienist spent a good 10 minutes trying to explain for me why I should pay for the up charge for fluoride even though it already covered under my insurance plan. The hygienist and dentist spent the last 20 minutes of my appointment creating a sense of urgency telling me to prevent my teeth from cracking that I needed to buy from them a mouth guard, electric tooth brushes, teeth whitening, etc all of which I get for free from my dental sales rep neighbor. My second appointment consisted of a longer sales pitch than actual care. My second cleaning here with the same tech didn't even last all of 10 minutes, which is inadequate to receive a proper scaling done, she didn't even floss my teeth. I received another repeated lecture regarding why an up charge for the fluoride was highly recommended even though it was already covered by insurance. Followed by another 20 minutes berating me on why I did not want to proceed with making an mouth guard and signing up for their teeth whitening treatments. I've never had any issues with my teeth and I cannot imagine how this practice would try and extort me if I had actually had an issue with my teeth. Called asked for office manager who did call me back who tried to explain and twist it like I canceled my appointment... didn't feel like I was given a true apology. This wasn't my 1st time with appointment issues. I suppose when your business is so large and have numerous locations and long waits for appointments that quality of customer service goes down the drain. Customer loyalty too isn't important either. Well I won't be recommending you anymore in the future if anyone asks me for a dental group.
