They redid the counter flashing, cleaned and sealed both chimneys, replaced spalling bricks, applied Crown Coat, installed new stainless steel rain caps, and replaced a window flashing. They also repaired window trim bricks to coordinate with my window replacement, and gave me a very good price for that extra work. Everything was done on schedule, and the work looks fantastic. It's not easy to find good contractors. I'd definitely call them again and recommend them to anyone who needs chimney or masonry work.

We figured it was time to get it looked at, so we called Taylor at Cascade Chimney and Masonry. Had no trouble making an appointment and he came and looked at the chimney and fireplace and said, basically, "yep, everything's good. You don't need it cleaned." He was apparently (I wasn't there, this is hearsay) very nice and when asked how much we owed him for the service stop he said we didn't owe him anything. So, my recommendation is that you call this guy and have him service your chimney and you will know that if he's doing the work, you really need it. We did give him a bottle of soda that we'd been keeping for a special occasion, so maybe have a bottle of soda handy if your chimney turns out to be just fine.

He repaired a foundation wall crack, worked on steps and a walk way, repaired a chimney to like-new condition, and even removed and filled in a window in a concrete wall that didn't make sense where it was. His work was fantastic in quality (friends and family have congratulated me just based on the "after" pictures) and several other contractors I've had do work have wanted his number for projects of their own. He definitely devotes himself to doing a good job. (The concrete work you have done will probably out last you so it's important that it be done right.) Based on a traffic tie up he got a late start on the largest pour of my project and so had to get started in the rain. He kept working through the evening and into the night under a plastic tarp, on his knees, in a downpour, working the concrete and taking care that everything turned out right for me. (He didn't get out of here until 2:00am!) I cannot recommend him enough.
