We've used Auntie Linda for several years now. Each time when our dog came home, we always needed to give him a bath because of the smell, but it was worth the inconvenience since she was so cheap and we thought better care than a kennel. When we picked him up a few weeks ago, there was fecal matter stuck to his bed, and he was wearing a SHOCK COLLAR (that was intended for a much bigger dog for that matter than our bishon / shitzu mix) that she forgot to take off. We've never used a shock collar on our dog!!! For her to use that WITHOUT consent or even bringing up the topic EVER, we feel she is NOT a worthy sitter of anyone's animals. Each visit, she'd always reported what a great dog he is, and send pictures while we were gone, which was the case this time as well. Our dog has been acting VERY strange since he's been home - he cowers when we approach him, he won't bark at all (he used to when someone was at the door), he's moving very slowly, and is extremely on edge. . . . don't fall for the smoke & mirrors! We enjoyed meeting Auntie Linda and our kitty Holly and she got to be close friends right away. He liked socializing with another cat and at one point 2 of them and climbing the cat tree. Linda has taken care of my two kitties multiple times and she's been tremendously accommodating, professional, and kind to my cats. I've really appreciated texts letting me know how they are, pictures, and constant communication about the well being of my animals. She's saved my butt on a few occasions by letting me bring them in last minute and kept them safe, well fed, and happy. Every time that I pick them up they're calm and content. Excellent animal sitter!!!! My 2 siamese cats lived at Linda's over the month of March, while I negotiated a complex move out of state. I visited several times and felt relieved that my cats were so well cared for. Linda is a straight forward, responsible, competent animal-sitter. She provides exactly what she advertises: a safe, pleasant place for animals to be boarded. Linda is positive, direct and caring. She is flexible to accommodate client needs and she has an uncanny sense of what will and won't work, in terms of placing animals in her home; she has many animals at once and considers the current mix of critters currently placed, when accepting new clients. Over several visits, I witnessed both great dog and cat care, and appropriate food and kennel/open room placement of animals in her home. Linda is ethical and honest, and her rates are a bargain for the care she provides. She is polite and deserves polite clients. I travel quite a bit for work and Linda has been taking amazing care of my dog Chopper for a year now. She is very caring of all the animals in her care and I wouldn't trust leaving my pup with anyone else! It's always tough leaving my boy for a few days at time, however I know he's in good hands at Auntie Linda's and don't have to worry about him when I'm away. I was so worried when I had to board my little chihuahua who has a tendency to bite others besides me. Vets would not board him while I went on my trip because of that. I contacted Auntie Linda and she had some great ideas to work around that. I was more than a little nervous when I dropped my two little dogs off at her home before my trip, but she sent me texts right away and on a regular basis with photos letting me know they were doing fine. She has separate areas for big dogs and little dogs and my little Tiny made a new friend while he was there. She also let me bring them over a couple times before my trip to get acquainted with the surroundings and for me to get a feel for what type of care they would receive. She called the day after I picked them up to see how they were doing. The adapted just fine. Worked out really well. read more

Great lady with a real feel for dogs. My friend and I each have 2 dogs that are like a pack and we felt that they would do better being boarded as a pack. Not only did Aunty Linda let us do that, but did so on very short notica and at a price that did not bankrupt us. Thumbs up!! read more

My brother and I went there with our dogs to see if they would be a good fit, and it was a bit of a disaster. We brought them to her back yard where she let out the other dog that was staying with her. When the other dog started barking, she brought out a plastic bat and HIT THE DOG with it. She then looked at us and said "it doesn't hurt it's just to get him to stop". She has this plastic kiddie pool in the backyard for the dogs to drink out of, which she explains that she keeps clean by adding POOL CHLORINE TABLETS to. Please don't take your dogs here. read more

The house was hard to find. It was very cluttered and dirty, there was animal hair everywhere (which is to be expected to some extent). "Auntie Linda" opened the door in her pajamas, even though I called in advance to let her know I was stopping by. I was afraid to leave my pup there, even though it was only for one night, but I was desperate. :( and my pup came home sick, she just laid around and didn't move for almost two days. :( Maybe I just had a bad experience on a fluke, but I'm not taking any chances, I will not take my pup back there. read more

We used Linda for a 2 week trip for our elderly cat. Linda was terrific in sending updates and in keeping up with the cat's medications. She spent a lot of time with cat to get her feeling comfortable. Please do not be judgmental about the pet smells. I don't know what you'd expect with all the animals she is caretaking. She is a real animal lover and will take great care of your pet. I will use her again. read more

I've been with Linda for well over 2 decades now. I've had 3 pets boarded there over their lifetime, Dandy, Lucky, and Squiggles. One time I tried another boarding option for my Lucky, because she was out of town over that week, when I needed her. They didn't give Lucky his med's properly and he died after four days, back home. Linda makes sure that the animals in her care are properly cared for. Squiggle's has been there twice for extended periods, and I've had no problems. I always get a little picture of Squiggle's on my phone or in my email; and, a small note of how he's doing, when I'm away. I have his emergency contact information in her files, and a signed release for care for my vet in case of any emergency. I've checked around and you can't find any good place for boarding at twice the price. I'll be away for 2 - 3 weeks in May and I wouldn't think of leaving my Squiggles with anyone else. Yes the house is dirty and cluttered and full of cats and dogs, even a rabbit or two. That is her home, her love and her passion. They are all her "babies". I couldn't ask for a better substitute "mommy" while I'm away. I highly recommend Auntie Linda's. read more

I had no trouble finding auntie Lindas. Although her house is not immaculate and she is not putting on a fashion show, my two dogs were very relaxed and well behaved. When I returned. I. have used sitting services before only to come home to a nervous dog...this was not the case in fact it was the opposite. I will definnitley be using Auntie Linda again. read more

The home was a mess. The urine smell was intoxicating. The animals looked stressed. The backyard was covered in feces. My guess is that the dog feces hasn't been cleaned up in weeks. Very disappointed in my SCHEDULED tour of the facility. We will not be using Auntie Linda's services. :( read more
