I went Friday 4/3 at 1040 am and all doors were locked and looked closed. I was really looking forward to trying this place.

We stopped for breakfast during the cicLAvia bicycle event on a Sunday. There were a few people enjoying their breakfast and no waiting to order at the counter. We ordered the veggie omelet with hash browns for indoor dining. We waited and waited and we were wondering what was taking so long. After I went back to the counter to ask if our food was ready the employee said they are working on it, mind you there is no one in line. We finally receive the omelet by itself and no hash browns. I go back to the counter to request the missing hash browns. Finally it comes out and it's a supermarket frozen hash brown the type you get at McDonald's. The restaurant is very spacious. I came in for lunch to get some work done on my computer. I ordered a pupusa revuelta and a Jarritos soda. The pupusa was 5/5 stars. I would come back for the pupusas alone. The only thing I would recommend is to call in your order if you are in a hurry. Otherwise not a bad place to stop for lunch read more

Great food and really friendly staff, prices going up a little bit but costs about the average cafe

I was in the area for an oil change and was having a hard time finding healthy options within walking distance, I walked right by this place because it looked closed due to the main entrance being in the back of the restaurant. When I walked in the staff was friendly, took my order and had no problem with the substitution of salad for fries with no up charge like most places. The food was fresh, flavorful and healthy. I'm glad they opened back up - I used to love going there every once in a while and will return. Their food was always really good and they never gouged on the prices. I think the first time I ever went there was in about 2010 and it was because of their Restaurant.com coupons, when Restaurant.com was a really big deal and many more restaurants used them. Aura's was one of the few in my area that were part of the program. I was pleasantly surprised and kept going back, long after using the coupons. Looking forward to another visit. Their burritos and wraps were great. The atmosphere in there was also really homey - it was never packed or noisy, I was usually one of like 2-3 people dining in there at any given time. read more

I came with my girlfriend to get something to eat and let me tell you it didn't disappoint as their typical breakfast and chicken tostada salad definitely hit the spot. We even enjoyed their crepes which was the perfect cherry on top. We also enjoyed our lunch with their delicious iced vanilla latte and cappuccino. First, i order and pay for two dishes to go. After about 5 minutes, they come up to me to tell me they don't have that particular meat. So i went to order two other dishes(one was the burrito) that were cheaper and an order of pancakes. They discounted the pancakes since what i paid for was a little bit more. Wait over half and hour. Food comes out and i even specifically ask the guy if the pancakes are in there. He says "yes". Get home and the pancakes arent there. Call them and they tell us to drive back, i don't know why they just couldnt refund my card remotely but wtv. They also blamed us for asking him in English. And the food, man, it was so bad. I got overcharged and waited, who knows how long for one of the saddest burritos I've ever had. Packed with barely anything except rice. Little bit of meat, but it also had no flavor. I ordered the tuna salad, I'd mistakenly received a tuna melt (quick and easy fix on their part!) But I figured I'd share what that looked like too, it looked delicious, just not what I'd wanted. Never ever order here from DoorDash. They do not pay any attention to those orders. I got a confirmation from the restaurant, app said it was probably ready for pickup based on original estimated time, I show up and they claim they have no DoorDash orders at all. Then he looks at the machine, says sorry, do you mind waiting....After I've already been waiting 30 minutes for my order. It was either wait another 20-30 minutes, or get a refund, so I waited. I needed a quick bite for lunch when I was in the area and this place came up with good reviews. It looked healthy and I decided to give it a try. I walked in and the place was pretty empty, it was an hour away from closing. I saw a woman mopping the floors and waited at the register for someone to help me. The same woman who was mopping the floor came up to get my order. I thought it was odd because she didn't wash her hands but I figured she's at the register handling money so she will probably wash them after. She took my order, smoothie and tuna melt. Right after she proceeded to deliver food to another gentleman at a table, still not washing her hands. After she proceeded to clean the counters and the kitchen with her bare hands and using the same hands to serve the food. I think I lost my appetite after that. The owners need to make sure their employees are following proper health protocols and hand washing procedures. read more
