The barista warned me it might be on the bitter side, but that didn't scare me so I went ahead and ordered it. It wasn't that bitter at all, very refreshing. I got the matcha chai, and I think it was the chai's fault, but it definitely tasted watered down and not how I like my matcha at all. I prefer it creamier. I learned from my mistakes and got the matcha with cold foam this time, and that was much better. Strong matcha flavor, and that classic deep green color. Would definitely get that again. The service itself is decent. I have ran into baristas sometimes that are more so apathetic, but I mean I guess how enthusiastic can you be about making coffee. The vibes are great, but this place is always packed so secure your spot early.
