I've been here several times and purchased a handful of items. However, I saw they are rated as the 9th highest business in Seattle area that received the most amount of COVID complaints to the state. Even knowing that I was planning to return today in need of furniture. Thankfully I checked Yelp, the number of 1 star reviews because they refuse to wear masks is enough to convince me not to give my business to them anymore. The fact that this company got a $45K Covid bailout from the federal government and then doesn't bother to make customers comfortable in their store - to the point where they're clearly hurting from lost business - is a shame and a waste. read more

Really cool antique store, large place, spent about an hour there today, lots of great stuff to look at. Only complaint was a handful of the items there seemed a little racist. There are some cool things there, but it drives me nuts that one of their employees refuses to wear a mask. I could overlook it if she just stayed behind the counter and away from customers, but she walks around and gets right in your face. She's like a little super spreader. It's rude. I've been in there three times and every single time she is there doing the same thing. The last time I was there I waited in line to purchase my items, and then she came up to the counter to help check me out. I flat out told her I would like to be helped by someone else. I have asthma and I'm not trying to go out like that. I made the mistake of going in on a Saturday today. It was packed in there. Mid week isn't so bad, but then again, that girl just rubs me the wrong way. She's probably 20 years old, and while covid might not affect her, it could potentially harm the customers, especially the elderly ones. My husband and I walked in here looking for an antique bed frame. If we would have found the right one, we were prepared to spend whatever... We didn't have the chance. I absolutely love(d) this place, but while we were there we saw 3 separate people with no mask, one of them who was a young girl who worked there. I understand you're a young, white, privileged girl, who probably has some bullshit excuse to not wear a mask, but you need to grow up. If you refuse to wear a mask, then you don't deserve a job. And to the workers who weren't enforcing the mask policy, it's a god damn shame. Get yourselves together. We're in the middle of a pandemic and you are being very careless and not looking out for the safety of others. I won't be going back. Aurora Antique Pavilion is the best and my go to spot to find treasures! I've only ever been met with kindness by the employees and I love the variety of vendors/items. As a vendor myself, I also appreciate their organization with filing and payments! I was a shopper first and still buy something almost every time I walk in. Love this place! read more

This place is amazing!! From what I understand, private sellers purchase a small space and their collectibles and antiques are sold there by the people managing the store. The concept is a little odd... But because of it there's SO MUCH variety! I spent a good two hours there going through stuff. I saw everything from antique furniture and old toys, to political paraphernalia. If you're a stout collector I feel like you would be able to walk away with a good chunk of things. The prices are very affordable, obviously they differ from booth to booth but remain pretty consistent. I found some amazing hot wheels and collectible cars, I'll be back again next weekend to keep hunting. I'm so happy to have this as my first 5 star review of 2017, this place did not disappoint. read more

I was so excited to visit this antique pavilion in Edmonds, Washington on a recent trip. The reviews and description for it looked so inviting. However, I was shocked when I arrived and found that the only way to this business was up a long flight of steep stairs. I am disabled and require a mobility device to get around and yet the location was not mentioned anywhere. My husband went up to find out where the elevator/lift was and was told that there was no other way up, and it was too expensive to do anything about the situation!!! If you have any mobility issues, DON'T EVEN TRY TO GET TO THIS business. read more

I've been coming to this mall for 2.5 years now. I would have been a customer for longer but if you live in Seattle, you could live here for years and not know this place exists because it is technically in Edmonds. Tip: if you are going for the first time - go in the the Burlington Coat Factory main doors. Then before you go into the BCF store, look to your right and there are the stairs to the antique mall. Be warned - this place is really big and you could easily spend 2-3 hours in there. There is coffee. Unlike traditional antique stores, this is a mall that is made up of many different vendors who rent out the space to sell their antiques. The up side is that the variety is great. The downside is that if you are looking for some specialized knowledge on something in particular, the dealers aren't physically there to answer questions. The staff know a lot - but they can't know it all due to the sheer variety and quantity of items. When I first started shopping here, there were a few vendors that didn't put a lot of thought to how their booths were styled. And although there were antiques around, there were also a lot of items that were definitely not vintage which I found frustrating because I like things from the 1930's and earlier. But in the past year there have been a lot of new vendors who put a lot of work into their booth, regularly seem to bring in new stuff, and have genuine vintage items. I think this has raised the game of a lot of the other vendors because the quality of items is definitely on the rise. Out of the 20+ times I've been there, I think I've only left empty-handed a few times. The prices can vary depending on what you are shopping for. I find them to be the most economical out of the other malls in the Greater Seattle area and I frequent them all a lot. There are always vendors that are running sales as well. The atmosphere is very relaxed and it is not pretentious like some of the other antique malls in the area. Thus I find it quite pleasant to shop here. The staff that I've interacted with have been helpful and friendly. It can get busy in there sometimes, so if you need some assistance and the employees are already helping someone else, you may need to be a little patient. But I haven't had to wait more than 5 minutes and it hasn't been a big deal. The vendors are a mix of niche dealers and random. I like this because if I am looking for something in particular, I know whose booths to go to. As for the dealers that just bring in whatever random treasures they found the past month - that is fun to look at too because sometimes I see things I didn't know I needed! There's always fresh stuff to look at. Some of the collectibles you can regularly find there from vendors who specialize: Star Wars items, antique wooden furniture, vintage and antique buttons, vintage tools, coins, vintage jewelry, vintage books, a large selection of vintage records, video games, glass paperweights, vintage Christmas ornaments, rustic/primitive decor, antique photographs, and a whole lot more that I'm forgetting right now. read more

The store itself has a nice assortment of antiques and fair prices and it's a shame to have to rate this nice family run store a one star review. The problem with the store is the selfish mother and daughter owners that feel that they are above the rest of us that wear masks in order to slow down the spread of covid. Having visited this store multiple times the two of them have chosen for these past couple months to not wear masks endangering their own customers with their own selfishness. The other workers are wearing masks because they seem to care about their and other's health. It is not fair to their mainly elderly customers, their coworkers, and the vendors that are depending on their store to sell their items that they will be losing my future business and anyone else that cares for businesses that care about them. read more

I have been a continual customer here for over 3 years, and couldn't believe my eyes when I saw 2 employees and one customer not wearing masks within 5 minutes of being inside. Now that I know how they treat the health and wellness of their customers, I'm sad to say I won't be returning. This place is a public safety hazard. read more

Talk about antiques galour!!!! My wife and I have driven by this place countless times and never knew it existed until last weekend. We finally got a weekend where we were kid free, so we decided to check out some antique shops. We found out about this place from another local antique shop and decided we should check it out. If you don't know where it is, it is located right above the Burlington Coat Factory right off of Hwy 99 Aurora in Edmonds. I was very impressed with the quality and quantity of antique furniture to old memorabilia, jewelry, clothing, old art, dining sets, glassware, vinyl records and even VHS movies, if anyone remembers what those are. Lol. It is wall to wall antique goodness. My wife really the fact that they had a huge abundance of old 1960's & 1970's Pyrex bowls and baking wear, which are sometimes hard to find, especially in good conditions. It was hard walking through the place and not buying something, since we came from another antique shop prior to coming here. But now we know this place is here and will be back very soon. read more

I love this place and visit regularly. Tons of furniture, kitchenware, odds and ends at great prices, nice and knowledgeable employees. My complaints? It can be hard to navigate due to the diagonal-aisle layout and immense size (well, is that really a complaint?); prices are all over the place, as individual vendors run their own shops; and some shops are definitely not selling antiques. I'm not sure this last point is a complaint either, as we were able to find a pretty great "antique" Star Wars lightsaber at a good price. The things that aren't actually antiques are still priced lower than new, and lower than Etsy/Ebay if you incorporate shipping prices. Do not miss the downstairs "furniture warehouse." This place is a magical labyrinth of vintage wonder. I tend to get overwhelmed in really cluttered antique shops, but for some reason, with the way this place is set up, that is not an issue for me. I have bought geodes that you get to break open yourself, vintage vases, and jewelry here. There is a huge collection from the smallest to biggest thing you can imagine. The only hang up I have with this place, is there are so many different vendors, that when tracking down an employee to get something out of a case, if that vendor is not present, or did not leave a key, you have to come back and hope that your treasure is still there. I have to spend at least two hours here, just so I can feel like I looked at most of the stuff. read more

Wow what a massive place. I think just about anyone will find something they like here. All kinds of stuff. I personally enjoyed the vinyl I found. If you're going to stop in here, allow for plenty of browsing time since there's so much to see. I really liked a lot of the dressers and wardrobes I saw, but I drive a Jeep Wrangler and there is really no cargo space so no way to get it home. I didn't ask if they deliver, but I'm guessing they don't since they had things marked with "sold" like the person had to come back and pick it up later. Anyway, I'll gladly make a trip back. I know my mom will love this place when she comes and visits. I didn't find the staff all that friendly. They just didn't seem all that interested in my money really. And I got the distinct impression they were laughing at my vinyl choices. lol read more

This place is not about antiques. Most of what is here is not old, it's flat out junk. They will let anyone be a vendor here. Do not waste your time if you are a true antique collector. False advertising unless you collect coffee mugs with cat pictures or pre-bluray DVDs. read more

The Aurora Antique Pavillion houses an eclectic collection of vendors offering a plethora of vintage, historic, and kitschy items and collectibles. When I'm bored and I have a few hours (and dollars) to spend, I often find myself here. No matter what your interests, you can probably find something really cool or interesting to you here. Records, DVD's, Laserdiscs, music and movie memorabilia, fabric and sewing notions, books, toys, glassware, military regalia, kitchen and serving ware, furniture, clothes and jewelry, holiday decor and ornaments, souvenirs from around the world...the list is endless. And so is the floorspace, it seems...I once spent two hours perusing and only covered about 2/3 of the place. But, everytime I go, I find a new nook or corner or vendor. If you really like finding things that have history and character, you will find those things here. The staff are nice, and will contact vendors if you ever want to make an offer on an item other than the listed sale price. This place is just plain fun to look around and take in the history. Love coming here. I always spend hours going into every vendors space and rummaging through things. It's almost overwhelming, which is why I go alone and spend so much time here. They have a huge inventory of antiques and not quite antiques to browse or buy. However, their attitude towards customers is abysmal. My wife and I walked into the store yesterday and were greeted by an employee who promptly stated with a sneer, we will be closing in 30 minutes. The usual announcements over the store's intercom noted that they would be closing in 20, 15, 10 minutes etc. which is pretty standard. I approached the counter where customers pay and wanted to have someone open a case for me so I could get a camera I wanted to buy. There were two people behind the counter, one was slowly but surely helping a woman sort her merchandise and carefully wrapping things for her, the other grayed haired guy was too busy flirting with an older guy at the counter who had no interest in buying whatever it was they were messing with and in the process allowed a 6 deep line to form behind me as I stood there. The manager or owner of the store walk behind the counter, grasped the microphone to make his announcement for all customers to bring their final purposes to the front as the store was closing. Apparently flirting with customers, and getting people to hurry up and wait are more important to this these people than anything remotely resembling customer service. I would recommend avoiding this place, unless you like crappy attitudes and bad service. read more

was insanely shocked to see the disgusting scene that occured while my friend and i were checking out. we had a good experience leading up to this, but were greeted with a maskless cashier in the middle of PANDEMIC. when we asked if they had a mask policy, as that is pretty basic across the board in king county, one employee began to laugh and say "here we go again", implying that there had been previous complaints and concerns, and the woman ringing us up said that the maskless cashier had a "medical condition." now, if i had medical condition that prevented me from wearing a mask, i certainly wouldnt feel safe working, let alone in a busy environment where i could get an additional virus, that i would assume could only make my medical condition work. so not only was she maskless, but the sass we received back was truly unprofessional and frankly disturbing. i do hope they can learn to read the room of our nation and the lives lost to COVID going forward. read more

I'd driven by this place for the past five years and always meant to stop by. I finally was in the right lane and had some time to kill, so I figured I'd look around for a couple of minutes [hah!]. First I accidentally walked into Burlington, which was so gross I thought it was a second hand store! After realizing my mistake, I ran out and found the antiques stairwell. Which FYI is to the right in the entrance/lobby area. This place is HUGE! I wandered around for almost two hours!! In the very very back there's a back room with a stairwell leading down to a broken antique furniture warehouse. If you love restoring furniture then you must check it out! Do not shop at this antique shop, they have a fair share of original, old and fake, fraudulent items at this so called antique shop, my friend bought a framed picture for $10.00 while appeared "old" on further review of the picture, it was not a picture or drawing it was a cut out picture from a magazine. Total fraud, tried to return it as $10 is too much to pay for a bogus antique item, but no refunds, no returns, no store credit. Really are you kidding me. This is 2016, wake up antique shop. So lesson learned ( 1) never shop there again (2) tell all my friends and now you tell your friends never to shop in an unethical place, lol I know a lot of people too (3) be careful of what you are purchasing. I discovered this place a few years ago. Upstairs from Burlington Coat Factory; kind of an odd location I thought but a wonderful surprise! I stop in whenever I'm in the area. HUGE selection of antiques and collectibles. The majority of sellers have merchandise well organized and displayed. A few, not so much but in both cases, I've found the selection to be pretty good with most prices reasonable. All merchandise was clean as is the whole mall. Bathrooms available. The mall is huge so I appreciate the courtesy phones if I need an employee. Employees were so so thus the four stars. Paying for my items seemed an interruption to the two employees yakking with each other behind the counter, and one gentleman employee was hilariously pretentious. To the woman with the horribly behaved children that were running wild, touching everything in sight and disturbing other people while you ignored these behaviors so you could enjoy looking around...your children's behavior is a direct reflection of you...rude with no respect for themselves or other people. No surprise there. CHEERS to the gentleman employee that requested this woman control her brats!! All things considered; love this place and will keep coming back. read more

BEWARE: Magazines are expensive. So we went in here on a Wednesday Afternoon. It's a good place, with lots of good dealers, but magazines are expensive. Saw tons of Life Magazines that said 19.99, $20, $15, etc. The 45 selection is the biggest I have seen at a shop like this. Also saw several very old 78s here (talking 1910s-20s here). Picked up one Life Magazine that was $4 (thank god), a Sports Illustrated from 1955, and one old 78 record (you know them from your grandmother's Victrolas). This is a great place, wonderful prices and good quality items in most of the stands. Regular shipments, updated inventory and some unusual perspectives in the individual stalls. Today, I realized the prices and the quality were better than craigslist. Really, really better. Worth the drive from Seattle. I had the privilege of having a few extra hours to shop at this antique shop on Sunday. I was feeling nostalgic as my Aunt used to have a space here for many years and has passed on. I found an amazing butsudan (Buddhist Altar) to take home. All I had to do was pay for it, I was so very excited!! That was until I had to deal with the sour puss old man working at the front counter (Stephen). He (Stephen) is a rude and disrespectful human being! It could have been an amazing end of my shopping experience but, I think he was determined to make someone pay for his miserable existence. It upset me to be disrespected. I even sent prayers his way after leaving. I returned 2 days later to pick up the butsudan. He seethed at me from across the counter. I am grateful I did not have to talk or interact with him. I feel so very sorry for the dealers who work the booths in this mall just to have someone like him deter customers from ever wanting to return. On a positive note, it was lovely meeting the butsudan owner she was a warm and caring person. I appreciated her assistance as she went beyond any expectations.
