Sophia didn't really analyze my skin like aestheticians often do when it's your first time seeing them. She told me the neck and chest are not included with my ($230) facial so I agreed to pay more money to extend to those areas. She then rushed through the entire facial as she had another client waiting at 11:45 promptly. Why offer me more services for an additional $95 if you're not going to execute the full facial to optimize my results?! Very confusing. I left her a $40 tip because I'm not an a$$hole but I would not go back to this person for this service. After I put my contacts back in I was very unimpressed with my results. She hardly even did extractions. Perhaps they should not book clients back to back and make their clients feel rushed. Another side note is that they offered me a glass of Prosecco and then charged me for it lol paying over $450 for services and not even receiving a complimentary glass of champs is wild to me. Unfortunately, this was not it. The massage itself was far from relaxing. I had to ask Maria multiple times to ease up because several techniques were genuinely painful rather than therapeutic. Instead of leaving relaxed, I left tense and uncomfortable. What made the experience even worse was the checkout process. This massage was a birthday gift from my friend and had already been fully paid for in advance. Despite that, I was initially told I owed the full balance. After clarifying that it had already been paid, I was then asked about gratuity, which my friend had also already authorized. The interaction became awkward enough that I ended up putting an additional charge on my own card just to get out of the situation. Any relaxation I might have felt was completely erased at checkout. I won't be returning, not even if it's another gift.
