Would give 0 stars if possible. First the whole place smells like wet dog. Secondly, there is almost no "scalp massage" part. It felt like an entirely too long hair scrubbing where all they did was knot up my hair into a ball to the point where when i went home i had to cut a knot out. My hair was unbelievably dry afterwards to where it had a different texture than id ever felt. Their "massage tools" they use also just pull strands of your wet hair out so im not sure why they incorporate this. Awful experience all around read more

I've now come back here 3 times, once bringing my sister. The spa is so clean, prompt, making a reservation online takes 2 seconds- what more could you want? I have done the signature head treatment each time. It's about an hour for $78. It's well worth the value, my hair and scalp feels amazing after, and every person I've ever had has been wonderful. I love to review businesses, the good, the bad and the ugly. Everything was PERFECT. My first time going to this particular head spa. I received a gift card for Christmas from my brother and his wife. She has gone here in the past and I like to try new places. Everything was done timely, soup to nuts. The entire process, I got the signature spa service (78$) and well worth it. My head has been itchy from the dry winter weather, so much better after the treatment. You get a steam treatment too, neck and shoulder, arm and hand massage. AMAZING. I felt like I could melt into the table. I just had twins in October so I needed this. I gave a 20 dollar tip. It was well worth it. My lady Alice, was attentive, she asked if I was comfortable, if the water temp was good. Her hands were magic on my stiff neck and sore shoulders. I had this place bookmarked after seeing it on instagram and finally had the opportunity to go this last Monday, 12/23. We had reservations which were very easy to make and confirm. It was quite busy and we waited only a few minutes to be brought in the back. The entire experience was great. It's so different because you're only going for your head but it was SO GOOD. The massage and shampoo and conditioner and all of it were just amazing. My hair is curly, I should have brushed it out before we started because the woman had a hard time getting through it in the beginning but other that than, magical. read more

I really wanted to like the spa. Based on all of the amazing videos I've seen of it on social media, it looked like it would be a great experience and unfortunately, it just wasn't. I wanted it to be relaxing and it was anything but. The girl who did my hair was so incredibly rough that it was very hard to think of anything other than how rough she was being lol. Don't get me wrong, my hair was incredibly soft after and smelled amazing, but the way that she was scratching my head and rubbing the shampoo and conditioner was anything but relaxing. I kept expecting for the roughness to stop and the massage aspect of it to begin, and it just never did. In the lobby, they have a machine where you can do a before scan of your scalp so you could see the difference between before and after the treatment. Unfortunately, they don't tell you that it's there and I only noticed it right as we were going in for our session. And I know it was there, I obviously would've used it to see the difference, but I never did. They should let you know beforehand to give it a try read more

Ok so just so you know at the end of the day it's just someone washing your hair and massaging you. That being said this lowkey got my scalp the cleanest it's ever been. My sister, who has curly hair, got leave in conditioner on her hair which was appreciated but I would have also liked. But yk what it was not necessary. Anyway I did love the massage I loved the experiment in general it was so relaxing. The only problem (idk if I'd use the work problem more like slight annoyance) was for those of you with curly hair, they diffuse but the brush it out afterwards and if you have curly hair you know that's a no. From the moment it started, the tea tree cleanse, acupressure, and warm steam just melted every bit of tension out of my body. They massage your neck, shoulders, and arms throughout the entire hour, and it feels incredibly soothing. For $68, the quality and care you get is unbelievable. The whole experience feels so therapeutic and calming. They even show you your scalp under a microscope at the end, which is so satisfying to see. A few rounds of washing, conditioning, and some hair treatments were mixed with a fantastic neck, shoulder, and neck massage. There was the right amount of pressure on my scalp which I truly needed. I really wanted to love this experience, but unfortunately, it fell short in several ways. The signature scalp treatment felt more like a prolonged rinse than anything restorative or relaxing. There was very little actual scalp massage--just some uncomfortable scrubbing, a brief pass with a head-scratching tool, and a short use of a massage device that lasted maybe 30 seconds. For much of the appointment, a steaming dome was placed over my head, and it was unclear whether anyone was even still present in the room. With so much idle time, a more substantial hand or arm massage would have been appreciated to make better use of that downtime. I also had concerns about the products used. Despite selecting a formula intended for dry hair, my hair felt noticeably dry afterward, and the scent reminded me of basic drugstore shampoos (I swear it smelled like herbal essences)! Overall, it just didn't feel like a spa-like experience as all their socials make it seem. I was hoping for something special, but this didn't deliver--and I won't be returning. read more

My hair feels sooo soft & smells so good after this. The steam felt so good on my shoulders, neck & head. And the products they used throughout the treatment smelled so good, i was so relaxed. The cash only is not ok and I'm a cash person it just makes it feel not legit. So they start with txt and emails to confirm then 10 minutes before my appointment they called BEFORE not after! I said I will be their on time! They are not professional anything! Don't think you're getting a professional message therapist or scalp analysis! They don't ask if you have allergies just hand you a card and ask what kind of shampoo you wanted. It was not relaxing at all like they show on socials! This place is amazing and is definitely worth the drive to. We've been to the Flushing one and that one was more of a hole in the wall (BUT STILL JUST AS AMAZING). This location is kind of random and it's at the corner of a strip mall, but parking is just so much easier. The space itself is also newer and more open / airy. They were very welcoming when we walked in and I love how clean everything feels. I believe I had Odelia and she really focused on massaging and cleaning my scalp. THE BEST EXPERIENCE IVE EVER HAD. I've been dealing with a dry itchy, flaky scalp the past year. I've been constantly having flareups and itchiness and I went here and I did their head spa and all my dandruff and irritation is gone. My hair feels so soft and my scalp feels so clean and at the end of the treatment they put a camera to show you your hair follicles and it shows you how clean your scalp is. Easy enough to make an appointment although English is extremely limited. I called ahead as I was running an hour early. They could not accommodate me no problem. I ran an errand and arrived on time. They were eating noodles at the front desk and the greeting was less than warm, before I had a chance to look around I was pulled into the back. I want to ask a few questions before about services or the products. But I was swept into a booth by a worker with absolutely not a single solitary word of English. I couldn't make myself understood at all. No rooms, just cubbyholes. It was noisy, separated only by curtains which keep flying open. The reflexology was good, but during it, a hand reached under the curtain and took the basket that my masseuse was using, not a problem, but it made me think the instruments were not sterilized, so that made me somewhat nervous, she did a great job even though the booth is awkwardly set up. Then had the special shampoo. It's nice, but hard to relax when you're listening to noise from the front door all in all it was a great shampoo. My hair was very soft. Products were nice but can't tell you what they were because... no English and rushed out after I paid. They remind you constantly it's only cash. So all in all the experience could be very relaxing but it was less than. It's a nice place, Angel was kind and attentive, the overall vibe was not. Management needs to chill.
