I've passed this place a million times and finally decided to give it a try and I'm so glad I did! The space itself is big and inviting upstairs. I'll admit I got a little nervous when I saw all the beds in the large open area, worried my facial would not be done in private but Danielle, my esthetician assured me there were private rooms. The beds i saw were for people getting brows done. Danielle did a great job and my face/skin felt so clean after. I found this place after I passed by the nearby Verizon store. Face Place is a clean, high-end spa. Patti Ann cauterized several scars and moles, which are all now barely visible several weeks post treatment. She tailored the treatment to my FItzpatrick skin type, which is a 5. I hyperpigment and scar easily, so Patti was extra gentle during the procedure. She is a skilled esthetician. She knows how to treat African skin. I laid on a warm bed in a cozy and relaxing room. I felt like I departed from every day life there. Patti Ann was thorough in her explanation of after-care skin treatment. She gave me a colloidal healing cream that soothes cauterized skin. She also emphasized the daily use of sunblock indoor and out-- in order to prevent hyperpigmentation. I have been to other high-end medi-spas in the NY Metropolitan area, and NY Face Place is up there with the best. I highly recommend this business. Bravo to Patti Ann for a job well done. read more

I really hate to give a review like this since this was my first time at Face Place, but If you are looking for a spa like experience, this would not be it. It is more like a hair salon vibe where everyone can see/hear each other. I had my eyes closed 95% of the time I was there because I was having lashes done. In that time a woman who was having another service done did not take a breath between sentences. Blah, blah blah, on and on and on. I had a headache by the time I got out of there. But besides the loud mouthed woman, Rebecca did a beautiful job on my lashes and I would recommend her. I didn't notice any private areas; maybe I just didn't see them...so if I were to think about getting a facial or other spa treatment I would find somewhere else to go. read more
