They serve Food and Drink as well. Was there with a bunch of folks from Berwyn, IL which was a Czech Stronghold back in the day with a Bohemian restaurant on practically every block. When we saw "Little Bohemia", we were eager customers. Pre-prandial de rigueur in WIsco calls for Brandy Old Fashioneds, and they were quite tasty. The menu actually is more Germanic than Czech, but that's ok. Close enough. There was a Bohemian Rye bread service with a trio of compound butters, all so average I cant remember what they were except for the one wot had chopped olives. That one was fine. There was a relish tray that had a bizzare spread of Peas and Peanuts in a white cream sauce. We couldn't figure out what to do with it. Never saw anything like it in any of the many Bohemian (or Deutsche) joints any of us had ever been to. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't fab either. Now there was a Mushroom soup offered and it was really really yum! Could have had 3 bowls of that and called it a night. For entrees, Roast Duck was on the specials and one of our party got the last order before it was 86'd. Most of us were going to order it as well, so hearing it was off the twig made us scramble back to the menu. My pal who knows the difference said the duck was great. I swung with a pork schnitzel, spaetzle and rotkohl. All three were pretty good. Not as good as the Czech joints in Berwyn, but good nonetheless. Wife had a steak which she was not impressed with. That Schnitzel was $32, by the way, which I thought was a little dear. $32 will just about buy a fine dinner for 2 in any of the remaining Czech joints in the Berwyn area. Service was fine, and we were in the room wot had most of the Dillinger artifacts. I'm throwing 4 for this place 'cos the evening was pleasant, and the basehits overrode the strikeouts...

Why NOT brats for breakfast?…read more This gas station, general store, bait shop, deli, meat market and breakfast place for locals is asking the real questions, people. As you can see, they do a lot of things here but it seems like they do them well. First - the store is a gem. There are lots of antiques, it's very clean, there's a pretty decent beer selection and the prices are not too bad. Second - the people are NICE. Really, really nice. Third - breakfast. Every day from 7-10am. Pretty sure it's a 95% locals kind of place but you as a discerning traveler will be made welcome. There are brat and tater tot breakfast burritos, omelettes are more - nothing is more than $7. And it's tasty as well. So if you're in the area, you can accomplish many errands, eat some tasty food and support a friendly local business. It's going to be better than the overpriced fare at your resort anyway.

I ordered their skillet which came with hash browns, cheese and their homemade bratwurst topped with two eggs and toast. I elected to order the "large" portion and it proved to be more food than I could finish. Others in my group also tried the skillets and the french toast and everything was enjoyed. Overall I can't say enough nice things about Hogan's. Tom and Stacey, the owners are very friendly and accommodating. The food is fresh and delicious, the portions are generous and the prices are very reasonable. I think this is one of the best kept breakfast secrets in the area. Tom mentioned that breakfast orders can also be called in ahead of time and can even be picked up via the drive through. While we were there we wanted to purchase some of the homemade brats to take home. While they didn't have any prepared right then, Tom said he would be happy to make a batch for us and have them wrapped and ready to for pick up the next day. I can't wait to enjoy them! Keep up the good work guys!

The waitress was super accommodating because we had a child with. Right away, she asked if we would like crayons or cars. The toy cars were a huge hit for the child and kept him entertained the whole time. It was a great thing since the restaurant was pretty full. As for food, it was standard diner food, just what I wanted. I got the veggie omelet, which was pretty good. It was a very thin egg layer and filled with veggies. I think the mushrooms were canned, but they didn't necessarily taste like it. The rye toast was also tasty. My friend got the beast burger, which we thought was super interesting to have that combo of meats on the menu. It did need some condiments as the combo of lean meats made it a little dry, but it had a good flavor. We also got the 9er, which was just the right amount of food for a child. Overall, we had 5 star service and the food was just what we needed on the road trip.

Then I ordered a bottle of Moet and the server brought us regular wine glasses. I asked can we get champagne glasses and she brought them. Also the champagne came out cool not cold. So I asked what temperature and the fridge was supposedly 55 which not sure seemed warmer'. Even 55 is is a little warm for non vintage champagne. Should be 43 to 48. I want into the bar and ask for ice for my champagne as it was 89 degree out. Bartender was nice at first but I did comment about champagne temperature and got an eye roll, nice. The lobster ravioli is unique it's a flat piece of pasta over the ingredients. Also I ordered the broiled cod. 3 small pieces. Which whatever but person next to me order it and he received 3 giant pieces of cod . On purpose, not sure. This is only my 5th one star review out of 145 reviews for reference.

We were seated right away on the screened-in porch area which had a nice view of the lake and park. The service was good, but there was only 1 other table there, so I can't speak for what it's like when it's busy. A few things to note: The portions were very small considering the price. I had the blackened perch with rice pilaf - the taste was fine, but the portion size was very small. For $18, I got 3 small pieces of perch that were about 3 bites each. My mom had the sauteed scallops and a baked potato ($20). The scallops were pretty bland, seemed under cooked and were kind of warm, but not hot. We asked for them to be pan fried to heat them up and so they could cook a few minutes longer. The server took them back right away but they came back clearly microwaved. I by no means am cheap, and am more than willing to pay more for a nice meal, but for what we got and the price we paid, it wasn't worth it. NONE of the servers, the bartender, or bus boy were wearing masks. Also, the menu is all online, so make sure you take your phone. We won't be returning for a second try.
