WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. I've had this Dr for many years & finally I'm going to change that TODAY. Office staff doesn't seem to know what they're doing, take forever to answer their phones, mix up patients INFO (I know this off hand because my sister also has this Dr as well & they have mixed our info MANY TIMES! From appointments, BILLS & prescriptions!!) don't follow up/give attitude over the phone. Over book appointments! You're NEVER seen on the time you book your appointments so expect to wait! They don't even go over your test results clearly. You'll probably find out something is serious when you see an EYE DR (happen to me before) it's honestly ridiculous how many chances I've gave this place. I've had to do MANY BLOOD TEST & still have not received a clear answer & had to even find my on specialist because their office staff input the wrong info! & could not find anyone soon for me! They only seem to care about MONEY more so their patients HEALTH! I was told that I would need to see another specialist due to my current one I've already seen / taken more blood test for will be retiring next year & it would be better for me to see another specialist but I would need to see my DR in person or over telehealth to be able to have another referral when they already have all my records/results & could send me to another specialist already but just want to delay it even more! I waited over an hour to be seen only to have them see a patient who had an appointment AFTER mine. Then I received a notice from My Chart with an "After Visit Summary " listing the issues that were addressed. How does this happen! I showed the front desk what is in My Chart and with a confused look on his face he tells me I'm next. I tell the woman they saw BEFORE me had an appointment at 11:30 which I respond with, "she told someone in the lobby her appointment was for 12:30...not to mention she got there after me! And they took some other patient after her which i addressed and there response was he had an appointment earlier. Hells bells!!!! I was there 15 minutes BEFORE my appointed time, had my vitals done then told doctor is in a meeting meaning they're running late. Here's an idea...how about scheduling your meeting same as you schedule patient appointments!!!!! I've given this office three tries and I'm DONE!!!! Don't bother with her unless you like waiting, oh and she doesn't necessarily go over all your test results... my running joke is that she doesn't go past A. Very poor and I'm sure my review doesn't matter to them at all but it's off my chest and out there. read more

Dr. Mariani has been my primary care physician for a while. I barely get sick, so I don't see her often. While she may be a great doctor, the office experience is horrible. Be prepared to wait & wait & wait. You spend more time waiting to get seen than the actual visit with her. It's just ridiculous! People have places to be, kids to tend to, yet they have absolutely no regard for your time. Idk why they keep taking on new patients. I would highly suggest that you do a telehealth visit instead. I was supposed to go in today for an ER follow up & to get a referral for a specialist. However I knew I didn't have time to wait so I called them to see if I could do a virtual call instead. & thankfully it worked! I saved myself a drive & so much time. After they situate my referral I plan to seek a new PCP. read more

Dr Mariani is always running behind schedule. Either she or her staff consistently overbooks appointments or she/they have poor time management. Making an appointment seems easy enough, but unless you are the first appointment of the day, they are always, always late. This is very disrespectful of the patient's time and medical needs. In person appointments always run at least 30 minutes late and can go to almost an hour late. Leaving a message for doctor is simple, but Dr. Mariani never returns any calls. Staff speaks Filipino to each other, which is very rude. Regardless if I can understand what they are saying and it may be nothing, but others may not understand and the perception is that they are talking bad about you. What's the point of have a primary care physician if that physician doesn't care enough about you? Patients are asked to be on time for their appointments, trust that the doctor will do the best for your well bring and expect you to follow doctors orders. But, why is that same courtesy and respect they demand of us not returned to us? They make it feel like they are doing us a favor and that we should be grateful that they are our doctor. What ever happened to good bed side manners? I miss the old days, when you really felt the doctor actually cared about you as a person and about your well being. Now, I fell like I'm just another insurance claim, another payment to add to their paycheck. read more

This isn't the first time this happened to us. This is my opinion. I swear the receptionists always takes the Filipinos before anyone else. We set appointment times for a reason. Today we waited 1 1/2 hours and 2 Filipinos and another man was called before my dad and we were here way before them. I confronted the receptionist and she apologized and said one of them had an emergency, i'm like we are at a damn hospital send him to the ER isn't that what you are supposed to do? With attitude she shrugged her shoulders and said sorry again. Bad customer service every time we call for prescription refills too. Went to Dr. Mariani today as a follow up to an ER visit. I made a single phone call and was invited to come as a walk in at 2 pm. Upon arrival, I was immediately attended to, checked in and was giving vitals less than 10 min after walking in. The nurses were very kind and attentive. I was highly impressed and comforted by Dr. Mariani immediate attention, her interest in figuring out why I felt so ill. I have posted previously about Dr. Mariani and her staff and I think they have since improved their bedside manner and interest in providing exceptional services. Thank you for taking good care of me today and making me feel like my wellness is a priority. Dr. Mariani personally took the time to call a Rheumatologist to see if he see me on an earlier date because she felt it was important I be seen. I felt better and more positive with my experience with Dr. Mariani and staff. read more

If I could put ZERO STARS I would! This office by far is the most un professional doctors office I have been to in my entire 30 years of life. Not only did they not call for a confirmation or reminder, the first time I called and scheduled, she gave me very minimal information as to where the office was and the suite number. I called the morning of my appointment from 10:00 am-10:45 and no answer at all. I had to walk around the entire building and check every office. All because the office couldn't answer the phone once from 10:00am-10:45am. When I finally went in, they had me wait from 10:53am to the 12 noon, and they still have yet to see me. Serving everyone who had an appointment after 10:45am first. The staff was very rude, and had a lack of customer service. They had minimal seating due to covid, but had over 8 patients waiting to be seen. How is this possible if everyone is a scheduled according to their schedule openings. Unbelievable! I will definitely not be going back. The fact that everyone in that office spoke in another language besides English, made me feel uncomfortable. It's a place of business, use English when dealing with English speaking patients. read more

My legs is swollen since december or november of 2019 and until now. Dr. Mariani been prescribing medicines that doesn't work at all, I've been complaining about my legs every check-up for like the 5th time now. I don't know if this doctor knows what she's been doing. Absolutley NOT! She diagnosed me 8 months ago incorrectly!! I went back today for the pain. I have been in excoriating pain thinking "oh nothing I can do it's just arthritis' When it started going down my leg, I said the this is not correct She said you need an MRI, I pointed out I already had one, "oh here you go..this is your issue, you have a bulging disc". Excuse me, you told me it was arthritis. Who told you, she said. Um, you. Oh no she said, then proceeded to show me where it was on her spinal figure. I said, yep that is exactly where the pain has been. I have an issue that could be life changing if not corrected or treated and have had it since January. In January, after an MRI, she told me oh it's just you getting old and it's just arthritis, nothing you can do. There is a huge difference between nothing you can do and needing to do something. I could have so many future issues because of the misdiagnosis. Her Tech had to point things out, and she did not actually read the results from the MRI 8 months ago or today, they had to be pointed out to her. Even the referral for an Ortho she had to get a 2nd opinion on. DO NOT go here and if you are here CHANGE Immediately!!! read more

I have been with Dr. Mariani for about 10 years now. She was always great to me, and her main guy Jon was always of so much help. Despite really long wait times like 45min-1hr (even with appointment), a small waiting room (about 6 chairs or so) if not, you wait outside in the hall, and a small office in general...I always came back because I felt well taken cared of. I even referred my family members here! Well just recently, it has all been going downhill....and I mean, DOWNhill. -No one ever answers the phone. -They forget to call in your prescriptions, but you only find out 3 days later when you're already at the pharmacy to try picking it up. Soooo, as much as I would love to stay...I'm finding myself already looking for another doctor. It's almost bittersweet. She knows me well because I've been there for so long, and have had bonds form with some staff. Despite the wait, I always enjoyed seeing Dr. Mariani because she is so kind, informative, and funny. If she seems condescending (like some have mentioned), its really only in a motherly type way. If you have high blood pressure or diabetes, of course you will get a little scoldings. But anyway, yeah it's come down to finding an office thats more reliable. Thats really what its about. read more

I called to get more medication for my Mother who switched to Dr. Mariani recently. They told me she needs to physically go in to ask for the medication. When I asked if they had a record of it from the previous doctor, they said they don't do any communiation with any previous doctors. I've never heard of a doctor NOT requesting patient records from the patient's previous doctor. Do you not want to know what that patient is already being treated for and what what medications they are on? They said they would ask the doctor if she would put in a prescription and call me back. Prior new patient, never going back. The first time I visited her office I waited 1 1/2 hours, no exaggeration. Second time I only had to wait 1 1/2 because 4 patients who had appointment ahead of me cancelled and walked out. The waiting room is so small, so u may have to stand which from talking to her other patients who where also frustrated about waiting that this is common practice for this doctor. When I finally did get in to see the doctor she told me I should of made an earlier appointment and spent 10 min with me. THE DOCTOR IS GREAT! BUT THIS REVIEW IS FOR SOME OF THE ASSISTANTS THERE. I was referred by someone I know. Dr Mariani is always great, however my prescriptions would always get messed up in the process. One instance I went in for an allergic reaction (not serious, but moderate enough that I woke up lobster red and a swollen face, thank God I had no problems breathing!) After being taken care of by Dr Mariani... the older lady assistant up front called in my prescription to my pharmacy. Then when I got to the pharmacy, the tech/pharmacist could not give me my meds because the medication name and strength did not match. The tech/pharmacist apologized and said they tried calling the dr's office back but no one would answer. I even called multiple times and no one would answer. The tech/pharmacist then gave me the option to go home and they would give me a call back when someone from my Dr's office returned their call to straighten things out. 3-4 hours later I get a call that my prescription is ready. So I inconveniently, I drove back to the Pharmacy to pick up my follow up meds (good thing I was still alive). This is not the first incident. Another time I went in to ask for a refill for one of my prescriptions. The same older lady seemed a bit troubled putting in the medication name the Dr just approved to get refilled. I offered the assistant the name and strength of my prescription because I knew what I needed. She did not look up and replied with, " its ok i got it." and so I believed her. I head to the Pharmacy and once again the same situation happens. Tech/pharmacist couldn't deliver my prescription because the strength did not match with with prescription. Even though I knew exactly what I needed, the tech/pharmacist couldn't give it to be without the "verbal" consent of the office/dr. So here we go again trying to call the office and no answer. Called multiple times for 2 days (weekdays!) and no answer. I was starting to believe my caller id name was set to "do not answer." Although Dr. Mariani was always sweet to me, I'm sorry but I'm changing providers. DUECES! read more

Dr. Mariani needs to hire more people and find a bigger clinic or simply limit the amount of patients she is able to service, it is simply an issue of greed and over booking appointments. Honestly with Social Media being what it is, it is simply a matter of time before she loses all patient confidence. The fact that prescriptions are being messed up, the long wait, and the condescending service it is all unacceptable!!! FYI according to medical insurance Co. there is a case to be made that if a patient has to wait longer that 30 minutes that you can actually dispute the Dr. visit charge. Just saying...Remember the patient deserves a level of respect and consideration simply because of the money that is being exchanged for a service... Seriously...get it together!!! read more
