Recently moved to the neighborhood and was so excited to try out this place after reviewing a great video from the owner on Facebook. I was really hoping it would be my new neighborhood watering hole but that's not happening. The look alike Roz, from Monsters Inc, saw me and my two girlfriends looking at the menu. She didn't ask us what we wanted, she just walked by yelling "ONLY PIZZA". She was rude, inconsiderate and not to mention wrong, considering we ordered more than pizza. Tara was tending bar. She waited on us. She did her job. There's no reason to go back. Note to the owner, You will gain new customers if you make customer service your number one priority! read more

Aurora Tap House is of course a bar in Aurora. It features beer and not that much else but that's not a problem when it's cold and cheap. Sure you can also get some cocktails for good prices too. Good place for watching a game. There's not really any good food but they have roasted nuts and popcorn. Even though this particular bar hasn't been here that long, the building has. It used to be Web Tavern , a local favorite that closed a few years ago and what locals compared this newer bar to. This may not have the same charm that did but whatever. It's still a dive bar. They serve cheap shit like Old Style and other good stuff in bottles, cans, and on tap. It's about $2 a pint. There's not much in the way of food except a few snacks. It's about $2 for some cashews. There's also popcorn. Also there's pizza that comes in. They let you bring stuff in on a few occasions. Good and cheap. It has plenty of TVs so you can watch almost any game. Live Bands, Craft Beers, Ice in the urinals and a new hand dryer definitely offer a new perspective. No real food to speak of; frozen pizza, corn dogs, huge pretzels and Doritos are available for your gastronomic pleasure. Match that up with a shot of Jager and the world is your oyster. Came on Saturday night with another couple and sat at a table. Went up to the bar to order 2 drinks for me and my girlfriend. The bartender said I needed to bring her ID up. I went to the table and got the ID and came back. Then she says that my girlfriend needs to come up to get the drink??? WTF Then she proceeds to question the legitimacy of her ID! After that she then started asking me my address on my ID. I told her I don't know cause it's from 10 years ago and I've moved 9 times. Then she walks over to her dad and asks him if the ID is real. LIKE YOU CAN SEE IM OVER 30 YOU LITTLE GIRL. Anyways the beers were good but the service is terrible. This bar will be under in a couple years with shit like this. This is why everything moves out of Aurora. read more

Came here for the first time on Saturday night & Got the worst customer service ever. The bartender was rude and was not knowledgeable ID cards . She not only asked for my Id but asked for my address and my boyfriends address like they are fake?? Then she proceeds to put our IDs under some light and asked some guy if they were real. Weird? We are both 30 years old. It's crazy to think someone would come to this place with a fake ID. I would rather go to Stoneys. The beers were okay, the service not some much. Walk in and be greeted by a Big Bang Theory looking A$$, then see the college kids from Wabounsie standing around chilling, some gang members with tatts on their face seated, some Aurora locals. This is my favorite spot to visit when I always got my free time. They are popular here in this area of Aurora. Highly recommend trying this Aurora Tap House. This place never disappoints. All of their offers here are fair and have a reasonable price. They have grilled selections, pizza, main dishes, sandwiches, pasta, salad, liquors, and others. You can literally find everything you want or look for on their menu. They cooked all of their food to perfection and serve it with creativity. It is well-plated and professionally done. The food is still hot upon serving and as well as the drinks it is still cold. Such a great spot to stop by! Amazing place to bring your friends and family to hang out and grab a drink. This place has an awesome vibe and a great choice of music. No wonder why a lot of people keep coming back here again and again. All of the offers here are excellent. First time at ATH today- what an awesome place! Made for a great Sunday Funday (Bears loss aside ) super clean, quick service and a stocked DIY Bloody bar- yes please!! Awesome local hangout! I've been going to Aurora Tap House since it was The Web. While the Web was a fun place, the new updates and name are taking it to the next level. I'm a craft beer and whiskey drinker - they now have an excellent curated assortment of both. I love that they are making updates to the interior - it feels clean and refreshed while still leaving enough of the original charm of the "longest bar in Aurora." They have improved some of the food offerings, adding better quality frozen pizza and pretzels. They have also added events - Bar Bingo Thursday (don't laugh - its fun!), live music on Fridays, Karaoke on Saturday, and they participate in Aurora's First Fridays with a local artist. Service is excellent and friendly! Kara and the other bartenders always great us with a smile, and know what we like to drink. Kara's bar chit-chat is of excellent quality - gets your drink quickly and offers up just the right amount of conversation. The staff know us and care about their regulars. I came in this bar on vacation. It seemed like a nice bar. I was definitely right. The food they had was good. And it came out quick. The bartender I had. I believe her name was Kara. She was delightful. Funny as ever and caring. Always making sure me and my brother were topped off so we never went thirsty! I couldn't be happier with the whole bar and atmosphere. I love this bar. It's come a long way since it's days of cash only and 3 tappers. They have a decent beer selection, good bourbons, and an even better staff. I love bingo on Thursdays and karaoke every other Saturday. It definitely has the "Cheers" feel to it and I love that in a bar! read more

I moved to Aurora and I've been to this place multiple times, and every time I've always been taken care of. Kara was bartending each night we came by and she always remembered us, remembered our drink of choice, and treated us like one of the Aurora family. The Karaoke crowd was also AMAZING.
