Checked out this long time bar and restaurant in Aurora. It always gets a big gathering for sports especially the football games. O'Malley's is located in one of the more rural parts of the city if you can call it that. Basically one of the few dining options that are right around here. There's the usual beers and cocktails, as well as things like burgers and pretzels. Bigger than it looks inside. It's located pretty close to the golf course so it's a popular spot after playing. This also gets a lot of people who are watching football on weekends. One of the local sports bars. They have a pretty good happy hour. It's about $4 for basic cocktails such as whiskey and Coke. It's about $5 to get the Pretzel Logs. The rest of the food menu is pretty meaty, with things like burgers and chicken tenders. For sure it's a good place for watching games. I was not impressed. Maybe in the summer it's a better place. We were there on a Saturday evening in the winter. Food was average to poor at best. Had hamburgers and boneless wings. It was bar food. Chili was gross way too much low quality beef, yuck! Decor is old and falling apart. Our bill was $75 for 3 people, no alcohol. Is always friendly face on each of the servers ( Lynne is awesome she was working on her own and doing great job ) and food is perfect every single time . Hello delicious wings. Ok, so we've tried wings at quite a few different places in Aurora and Naperville and were told the O'Mally's were the best...after of course being told by other people that Crosstown Pub were the best. Tonight we finally ordered from here and I must say I think I like these better! Very slightly breaded (usually I like naked wings) I enjoyed the little bit of breading on the wings and while I enjoyed the buffalo medium and hot sauce, I think the teriyaki wings were the winner! We did take out, so there's a good possibility the wings would've been even better had we eaten them there, but super happy with them as is. read more

Great bar and bar food. Was in town for a short trip and needed to find late night eats (9:30p). They were one of the few places open. The bartender Amber was great and helpful in trying out different beers. Ordered the pizza and wings, very delicious! My wife and came here for the first time and boy I don't know why we haven't been here before. First, the bartender Samantha was fantastic. It was my wife's bday and we ordered shots with some regulars. We ordered for apps the cheese bricks and bacon wrapped jalapeño poppers and they were amazing. The poppers are cooked in the pizza oven and got nice and charred on the bottom. For the wings I ordered the lemon pepper rub and the hot bbq. My wife ordered the spicy garlic honey wings. My new favorite wings place in Aurora. I ordered a dozen wings for pick-up and was told it'd be 25-30 mins. I got there around the 30 min mark, and they were just packing my order. Good to know my food wasn't sitting under a warmer. When I got the wings in the car and the aroma filled the air, my mouth started watering. I considered sampling a wing on the way home but figured it'd be too messy... and people would judge me driving while gnawing on a lil drummie. I got 6 Greek style and 6 plain with medium sauce on the side. The Greek style wings were amazing! The lemony, herby, char-ness was fantastic. Even after a 20 min car ride home, they were still good. I'm sure they're even better hot & fresh. The plain wings were good and crispy. I'm glad she asked if I wanted sauce on the side. The medium sauce has some kick, so it was good for light dipping. Been driving by here at least once a week. Stopped in last weekend for the first time. At 5 PM on a Friday, this is family-friendly. Good lighting, good pub grub food choices, lots of TVs. It is a LOUD place, though, or at least it was when I was in there. That could have been simply because one guy at a table near us was the loudest talked I've heard in a while, but I digress. However, the burger was totally dry, the onion was totally dry, which made it difficult to bite into, the tomato was only half ripe thus hard and tastless. All of that with a good amount of pickles, some lettuce and, I guess to try to hide the drynes, 1/2 a vat of mayo. Also, in what world are hot salsa and chips a substitute for French fries? This is my favorite place for wings and sports. The jumbo wings are absolutely the best, better than the national chains. Other menu items are equally good, always fresh and prepared just right. O'Malley's is a hidden gem tucked away on the side of the Phillip's Park Golf Course. It's like Aurora's very own Cheers Bar -- go there enough and soon everybody will know your name. They have a great selection of food and drinks. I'm vegan and I was shocked they even had options for me. There is no other restaurant in that immediate area that has vegan options. I love supporting patriotic businesses and O'Malleys is just that: freedom-loving. read more

I had a great experience tonight at O'Malley's. I met with some friends whom I hadn't seen in some time due to the wrench that has been "2020: The Director's Cut". This had been our first time at O'Malley's and boy did they impress. We met for dinner (around 6:30pm on a Thursday) and were greeted kindly by the hostess and chose our table top. I didn't catch our waitress' name but she deserves kudo's with timing and patience regarding our indecision. The food menu is limited, but in the best way. We were all torn while deciding what to order. Our selections were as follow: (my) Caesar Wrap w/ slaw, Ruben w/ fries and Spicy Chicken Sandwich w/ slaw. All worth checking out! Great presentation, cooked perfectly, timely and delicious. This is the perfect way to wind down after work. GM Mike was a great advocate for his staff, the experience and the atmosphere (including food) they provide. I work near by. Decided to stop by and have a late night bite. Came on a Saturday night at 9:30pm. The place was empty. Just 1 other patron and myself. I ordered a Guinness and it was poured incorrectly (this being an Irish pub). I ordered a 3rd shift burger. It was ok. The meat was bland. The egg, bacon, and cheese carried it over. The prices are high; burger was $12.99. This isn't an Irish pub, it just claims to be. Characteristics and ambiance is more of a typical dive bar. The waitress however was pretty spot on.
