Bartender never wore his mask :/ pretty small place to be doing that

Came here for a friends birthday, but it was pretty disappointing. The instructor was pretty unhelpful, didn't give us any information about scoring for a while, drinks were eh, staff were not wearing masks. The instructor had his mask on his chin and the bartender never wore his. They have a pool table and a big Jenga which is fun but prob wouldn't be back

So fun! Drinking and axe throwing?! Can you beat that convo? Definitely a fun place to go!

10/10 place to go with a small group or pair. In addition to axe throwing, they have a small collection of arcade games and woodworked table games. Tick tack toe, connect 4, giant jenga, and some others I didn't recognize. Sharpened steel cards and other throwing objects were available to use in the axe cages too. I loved that there was a bar there and it seems they're adding different drinks and growing the menu. The welcoming attitude and personalities of the staff added to the fun, cozy, and lively atmosphere.

Great time! I went with a friend but it's a great spot for a date or even a company event. Axe throwing, knife throwing, arcade games and even a full sports bar. Literally anything fun you want to do indoors you can do here.

    Jenga!

When we're in town, we hit up all the old favorites, and Miller's Ale House was on the menu on June 25th. We had dinner plans with friends later, but we squeezed in a lunch date with beer and a shared appetizer. Their wings are legendary, so we ordered 12 to go with our brews. Let's get to the review. Service was top-notch - our host greeted us with a smile, and our waiter was on point. We got our beers within five minutes, no problem. The ambiance was cozy, well-lit, and bustling with sports tv and ambient noise. But here's the kicker - we waited 30 minutes for our wings. Yeah, it was 1:30 when we arrived and the place was pretty empty, but that's no excuse. Now why did give a rating of two? Well, for the service and ambiance only. We were served our wings at 2:00. How were the wings you maybe wondering? My Husband and I eagerly grab wing flats. 'Can these bones live?' Eating those wings immediately reminded me of Ezekiel 37 in the Old testament after he saw skeletons scattered about asked, "Can these bones live?" The wings were drier than the Sahara, and the honey barbecue sauce was just a weak attempt to revive the corpse. Can these dry out wings live up to being freshly made and juicy covered up by a tasty honey barque sauce? Hell to the naw, naw naw!!! We called our waiter over explained our dissatisfaction with a request to remove the wings off our bill. We still tipped him, because hey, he's not the wing assassin. since he only served the food and it was the kitchen that prepared that saucy dressed up trash plated up real pretty. What a let down Miller's. We noticed your price increase for six wings cut in half sold as 12 pieces. If you expect customers to pay more for less than you should be serving your best, that is cooked fresh not food that is precooked sitting for hours then reheated. I did check your reviews which were not the best and gave you the benefit of a doubt despite low ratings. Would I recommend Miller's? Sure, if you enjoy eating dry wings and wondering if they'll crawl off your plate. However, to each their own, your money, your call. This economy has got me rethinking the whole 'strike three and you're out' deal. Paying more for less, subpar service, unnecessary waiting time, honey it is now, strike one, you're on out as my time and coins are valuable and restaurants are hurting so I will search for one where I can get the love I deserve.

I understand the breaks are meant to drive bar revenue; however, there was limited bar staff. Unfortunately for an indoor concert, the acoustics weren't all that great. Folks around me noted the same and partially attributed this to the quality of the sound system. They noted that the sound was much better when there was an outdoor concert this past summer. There are some definite positives to this venue- location, lots of parking, pizza available throughout the show. All in all, the venue was a good host to 6! bands/performers and it looks this might be worth a visit for an outdoor concert!

I ordered one cocktail and one coke and when I got my bill was surprised at how inexpensive it was. I tried to check the bill but they didn't provide an itemized bill, only the final charge. I chalked it up to suburban pricing so I tipped well. Much to my surprise they charged my card more than what I had put on the receipt (like $10 more). I contacted them via their website and haven't gotten a response. Will not order anything from here again.

"Sips, Ribs, and VAI-ful Vibes"…read more Came to VAI for a double date with my husband's best friend, and this place was definitely buzzing. It was packed and pretty noisy, so not the best spot if you're looking for a quiet dinner, but the energy made it feel fun and lively. The drink menu had a lot to choose from--wine, handcrafted beer, cocktails, and mocktails. I ordered the "It's Pink and It's Bubbly" mocktail, which was refreshing and cute without being too sweet. My husband went with a beer and was happy with his pick. We started with the crispy arancini and whipped ricotta with honeycomb. The arancini had that golden, crunchy outside and a warm, comforting center. The whipped ricotta was probably my favorite appetizer--creamy, light, a little sweet from the honeycomb, and easy to keep going back for. For entrees, we had the short rib rigatoni fresh pasta and the prosciutto with wild mushroom white pizza. The short rib was tender and rich, and the rigatoni held up well with the sauce. The prosciutto and wild mushroom pizza had a nice savory flavor and felt a little lighter, but still filling. I can say that VAI is a solid choice for date night, a group dinner, or when you want good Italian-inspired food with drinks and a lively crowd. Just be ready for the noise if you go during a busy time.

The place was empty and asking us to go to a bar before you throw these deadly axes. But OK. When our time did come up. The same employee. Gave us the instructions that you can throw 2 hand or 1 hand. And some minor tips. When we asked how to play he was less than helpful. With a basic. How ever you want. There was a whiteboard for scoring and good luck. We were the only group in the place when, which has about 20 boards. But where does he place us? The farthest boards from the front. I noticed the one of the boards needed to be replaced when we started throwing and I asked the employee about how long it would take. He blew me off and said it would take a lot because of blah blah and it would take about 20 mins. But after a few rounds the board was so bad the axes were falling even though they went blade first. Remember he knew we were coming. We asked if we could use a neighboring board set, which was in prime condition, while he took to replace to the center board. He responded with he'd have to charge us and additional $100. His boss(owner) was a tight ass about it. So we were down for about 20 minutes until he could tear out & replace and mark the board. No mention of additional time or reduced cost. Another thing I noticed was the poor lighting. Ours had this horrible red lightning. Other had a bright white light. I've been to a few axe throwing places. This was the least managed and lowest welcoming I'd been to. They also charged the credit card before confirming if that it was card we reserved with was the one we wanted to charge on. It wasn't. Sorry won't be going back.
