I highly recommend her, and I believe she is new to the team there at Texas oncology. Front desk staff are very nice. Helpful as well. There has been a hiccup with my insurance carrier for about a month now so my appointment today was for labs and I wasn't able to get them as the referral had not come back yet. I believe the issue points more in the direction of the Medicare Aadvantage Plan Part C plan and not the hematology/ontology office. She monitors my condition regularly & takes action right away if something isn't right. The infusion nurses and lab staff are all sweet and have a good sense of humor. I have never encountered anything to complain about. Waiting times are typically short and the support staff gets the job done well. They have an on-site affordable pharmacy for oncology-related prescriptions and the office staff will help you explore and set up various charitable drug grants. You don't have to face cancer with worries about your quality of care. These folks get it right.
