    Met with Right at Home representative when husband was brought home from the hospital…read more Representative quoted me $25/hr for sitting daytime and $35 for nights and weekends. Hired a sitter for 9am to 4pm. Did not want to give them access to my bank account for an automatic payment so gave them my creditcard. The sitter had nothing to do but let the dog in and out. When received the invoice, I was charged $36/hr. When I called the company, I was told that the first representative documented I would be charged $34/hr and since I put it on my credit card, I was charged $2 more per hour. I consider that rediculous. Watch out this place is devious.

I had asked the company and many others in the healthcare field if they knew of a lower priced home health agency because this one like others, was too expensive for my dad. Right At Home said no I suspect because they want to make a profit. They sent a wonderful employee out and she was a Godsend and like a paid sister to me with helping my father. A couple times she could not be there and they sent out 2 other women those two separate times, one a black lady who was very nice and the other time a young, lazy white woman who sat around and left her fast food trash for me to clean up! Sadly my father could not afford it and he thought he could be more independent and he got an infection and ended up passing away a few days later. Ironically APS had been called (a risk to himself) and THEY gave me a name of an agency that would have provided home health care my dad could have afforded. I had an appt. set up for the day he ended up dying. Meanwhile a few days after my dad died I got a call from right At Home. I expected it to be a sympathy call, it was not. It was the owner asking to be paid. THEY NEVER GAVE CONDOLENCES TO THIS DAY! It gets worse. My dad had them being paid on auto withdrawal and when he died this company and others drained that bank account. The whole estate went into probate and I could not access any money. I had to pay 20k out of my own pockets to pay my dad's mortgage, utilities, lawyer, etc. I asked the owner to stop trying to withdraw the funds automatically that it was costing the estate 35 dollars each time he tried. He did not care and ignored me. A year passed and I still had no access to my father's money. Yet I still get calls from this company asking for money. If they had stopped trying to withdraw the money from his account I could have had the money to pay them, I do not at this time. Also I will double check and make sure their accounting is in order because they may have already collected the money but have a lousy accounting system. As I have gone thru this hell of grieving and having to deal with the disgusting probate system and slimy lawyers, this company has been an added pest.

    Care Renewed is the only home health company I will ever use. I cannot imagine anything they could…read moredo to improve their service. My grandmother is recovering from a fall that caused a temporary brain injury. We needed more help than I could provide and I was desperate. I found Care Renewed online and the reviews were all excellent so I called and Fritzi was in our kitchen in 2 hours to discuss care and had a caregiver for us the same evening. I finally had a good night sleep! The team that worked around the clock to take care of my grandmother was so warm, lovable and competent. I spent many hours there with them. They took care of everything in her home from laundry, cleaning, bathing to just hanging out and listening to her stories. It's nice to be comfortable with caregivers when they start out strangers and now feel like family. We had a previous experience with a home health company so I was reluctant to hire another. The former sent an aide that was sick and asleep when I stopped by. Thank you so much Ms. Fritzi for the care, attention to detail, hands on management, and the visits you made yourself to check on my grandmother. She is precious to us and you are all the best!

Once we switched to Care Renewed, everything changed. Not only did caregivers show up, they were knowledgeable, caring and interacted with mom. I was able to sleep at night and even go on vacation. I highly recommend Care Renewed Homecare.

The New owners and directors have down a phenomenal job of taking care of my mom and residents! Aneva, the Activities director keeps residents active and engaged throughout the day and Chef Ben serves up hot delicious meals from scratch daily.     This place is a nightmare. If you care about your loved one, do not put them here…read more Residents are neglected and sad. I placed an elderly relative in their care for 5 days. Checking on him after the 5th day, I discovered his bathroom filthy with a wet floor and dirty items all over the floor. I searched for someone to clean it, and after some effort found a person who cleaned his bathroom. The wet floor was a slipping hazard. As I was searching for a worker to help him, there was a woman in a wheelchair sitting with other residents in the main gathering room, sobbing uncontrollably. Although workers were standing around in the hall, not one of them moved to check on her or comfort her. This was in the early evening hours after management had departed the building. I noticed that my relative had not been bathed or groomed since his arrival. He had not been shaved. His closet was full of soiled, wet clothes. He told me that the ceiling light had been left on all night long every night. This indicates to me that no one had been helping him go to bed. He told me he was scared. I waited to see if a worker would come to help him get ready for bed and turn out his light. He still had his shoes on, was clothed, and had not brushed his teeth by 9PM. I waited from 6PM to 9PM and no one checked on him during that time or came to help him get ready for bed. I had been told someone was checking on him every hour - this was clearly a lie. Finally at 9PM I once again searched for and found a worker who came to his room. She helped him change clothes, but did not encourage him to use the restroom or brush his teeth. This worker had been on the job only 3 weeks, and was unsupervised in the evening because all management leaves the building by 5pm and the last leave by 7pm. My relative got in bed and the inexperienced worker left. Right after she left, he needed to use the restroom. I had to assist him in the bathroom. He was very tired and in a weak condition. If he had been left alone he might have fallen. I tucked him in again, turned off the light, and left him to sleep. There was no night light in the room, but I had brought a small lamp that I left on so the room was not total darkness. I came the next morning and removed him from this facility. The evening I was there, I kept asking who was in charge. I was told no one was, that the workers were in charge of themselves. I discovered that there is no supervisor on the property after 7PM at night. There is no one who is checking to see if the residents are being cared for during the evening and night hours or if the workers are doing their jobs. I can tell you - the residents are being neglected at night. I witnessed all the workers sitting around in the entry area, on their phones doing nothing when I left after 9PM. I could not in good conscience leave my relative at this facility. I removed him immediately, and requested my money back, but management refused to refund any money. Save yourself some heartache and expense, stay away from this place.
