We stopped in on a Saturday evening right after opening time, hoping we would be able to get a table. The place was mostly empty, but WOW was it gorgeous! So much decor, and not a speck of dust or cobwebs on any of it. Looked like a victorian era mansion inside the dining room they took us to. It was all autumnal decor, so beautiful! The place is probably an old department store or something with many different rooms, each with its own decor theme; lots of space for special events. Some families were seated in private rooms. I walked through several of the other rooms and they were all decorated for different holidays, Christmas & Halloween mostly. Although those rooms had a lot of kitschy decor, they were also very beautiful. There were giant carved fireplace mantles, grand pianos, a hall of mirrors, and gorgeous carved wood antique furnishings everywhere. He liked his burger, and ate most of it. My chicken piccata was excellent! The generously sized two pieces of chicken were a bit thicker than usual for piccata, but they were cooked perfectly. Crispy exterior, and very tender and flavorful on the inside. The sauce was a bit thicker than normal piccata sauce but man was it good, and they did not skimp on the capers, which is my favorite part of the dish! It was served over a delicious rice blend which went so well with the sauce and served as a nice foil to the rich saltiness of the chicken. I ate way more of it than I even intended to and was stuffed. As much as we ate for dinner, unbelievably, we forced room for dessert and got an amazingly good chocolate cream cake of some sort which had thick layers of whipped filling between layers of chocolate cake, all topped with ganache. It was like a homemade hostess ding-dong, except way more moist. We ate most of it, despite our full bellies. My husband also raved about this cake, which is unusual because he usually hates things with whipped fillings, but he loved the cake & we had it eaten in no time. Finally, when it was time to pay the bill, it was actually a lot more reasonable than many other places that aren't half as good. Server did a great job. We were super happy with our dinner experience, and both of us agreed that Seasons is a major blessing for downtown Corbin. We will definitely stop in again without hesitation. We walked off our meal by meandering around town in the beautiful evening weather, ending up a block or two away at the pinball museum, so we had a fun date night, all in downtown Corbin!

Unfortunately, our service last night wasn't the best. We had a young girl with long hair who was very nice, but she seemed extremely frazzled and unsure of what she was doing. Our baby's food was rang in incorrectly, so while the rest of us were eating, he didn't have his meal. Thankfully, the manager was very kind and brought his side out so he could at least have something to eat while we waited. I've worked in the food service industry for a long time, so I completely understand that things can be much busier behind the scenes than they appear to customers. I really do try to give servers the benefit of the doubt for that reason. However, from what we could see, she was taking care of our table of five and another table of two and still seemed very overwhelmed. We also overheard that the other table was having some issues with their service. What concerned me most was that both another server and the manager offered to help her, and she declined even though she appeared to be struggling. I definitely don't want to get anyone in trouble, especially if she is new, but I do think she may benefit from some additional training or support before being given more tables. I'm only mentioning it because we've been customers for years, and as someone who also works in food service, I would want someone to respectfully bring something like this to my attention. The prices were very reasonable on the foods and drinks and they have happy hour specials on weekdays. The decor is warm and inviting with an Irish flare. The live edge bench by restrooms is a work of art. We came by boat and filled up with gas at Burnside marina and they let us park there. We called the Lucky Pint and they picked us up.
