That said, the bleachers for this particular baseball field are not comfortable and a tight fit as far as leg room goes. (and I'm 5'4) Maybe bring a cushion, blanket or a towel for some tush comfort. We had an early morning game (9 a.m.) with sun already out and ended up setting the tent up for shade. There are some random areas to each side of the bleachers but more so for smaller tent set up or even lawn chairs in those areas and also near trees/grassy areas for some additional shade. If you plan to sit in the bleachers, come ready with the above stated and even umbrellas. There were a few moms on our team that sat in lawn chairs in front of the first row of bleachers. Not a whole lot of room though. Literally just 2-3 chairs there were set up. I also noticed another tent, maybe two can be set up next to the dug out (first base side). Another tip: bring something to wipe down or brush off your seat. There are Crepe Myrtle trees that shed their flowers onto those seats.

From the moment I arrived, I was greeted by a sea of beautifully styled, bright and beautiful fascinators and hats, each one more charming than the last. The attention to detail in everyone's attire set the tone for the afternoon - pastels, polka dots, and neon. The tables were a vision of loveliness - tiers of sweet treats that were as lovely to look at as they were to consume. Delicate pastries, dainty petit four desserts, and perfectly portioned confections paired in concert with the variety of teas offered. Laughter flowed easily, cameras came out often, and there was a shared appreciation for this tea tradition mixed with personal individualized styling. The hats and fascinators added a playful elegance. We truly felt like we were having an English High tea. In addition, the tables were a sight to behold...layers of sweet treats that delighted both the eyes and the palate. There were delicate pastries, dainty petits fours, and perfectly-sized confections, all beautifully coordinated with an array of teas. The sisterly atmosphere made the tea uniquely memorable. Laughter was flowing effortlessly; cameras frequently captured those unforgettable moments. The hats and fascinators brought a touch of playful elegance. It was a graceful convergence of fashion, sweetness, and sisterhood. The tea wasn't just about the food and drink, it was about connection and celebrating each together.

After being accepted to the Texas State nurse practitioner program, I received communications from the university and the graduate studies department. Email instructions which appeared to contradict each other, or mislead the receiver somewhat, and made the university seem disorganized. Wanting to be conscientious, I sent a respectful email to DOCTOR Smith, asking politely for clarification. Her response was ridiculously arrogant and made it very clear that she was irritated by the email I had sent her for clarification. There was no explanation or apology for the different messages that I received from the university vs the graduate nursing department, and she made a point of stressing that students must refer to her as DOCTOR Smith. I have no problem with that, of course, since I'm sure she worked hard for her doctorate. Her rudeness, arrogance and obviously impatient attitude was a dealbreaker for me, the last straw after the other aggravating issues with Texas State University. I immediately decided to attend a different school, because DOCTOR Smith's behavior made it seem like a very bad idea to deal with this school for an entire 15 months! I'm happily attending grad school elsewhere, even though it is more expensive and the program is longer.

I've never felt unsafe on campus, this is by far nicest looking campus; Other then Leander campus (which is to far). I'd highly recommend anyone starting college to come here I've had zero issues. I have had teachers that help me so much, I mean they go above and beyond to help you understand what they are teaching, they care. I dropped out of highschool 4 times and had to get my ged. This school has made the transition back to schooling completely easy and fun. As a normal student who has average grades and a average life this place is A1+ some. They then have the texas state campus nextdoor. I mean they for real made going to college alot easier. I couldn't thank the staff enough and the teachers! :)

I cannot recommend anyone wise enough to actually check Google reviews, to attend this school. The individuals called teachers during this current semester have belittled and berated students asking for help, or to simply be taught anything. Handing a book to someone and telling someone to use the Internet is not teaching and is a prime example why AI has even started to replace the need for schools like this. If you are a member of this school, please do not contact me. You have the time and resources available to you, to do better. If you want a positive review in place of this one, then make improvements for your current students, not some later class of students who won't even know improvements were made and why. If you know someone considering the Hutto campus, make sure that you get all expected expenses in writing before you start. Being told that your classroom computers cannot support the software (MasterCam) and in your second year be told your now 2 year old MacBook can't support it either, is more than disappointing. If you complain about the teachers in any way, you need to be prepared for retaliation and time being wasted by staff who use class time to ask questions, but not have the ability to provide solutions and also be told how they will consider proposed solutions for future classes, but your current class is just expected to deal with the school's growing pains while they better equip themselves over time. If you don't want to teach, quit talking up the title of being a teacher or make an effort to actually care. If this current semester does not witness immediate and obvious improvements, I will be speaking with the board at Texas State, as well as the companies that take in graduating students.

This…read morecollege runs on scamming people, bullying, and all the things that make people the absolute WORST. First, admissions forgot to inform me that they would charge an extra $3500 for out of district tuition, so that charge blindsided me a week into classes. After waiting a week to get a hold of a financial aid person, they told me they wouldn't help me and to try my advisor. They shoved me off so fast, and didn't even ask me what the problem was. SO RUDE. I couldn't get a hold of my student advisor the entire semester. When I finally received an email back from Ara Williams, it was AI generated, and didn't answer my actual concerns because he was "too busy" with other students who had "actual problems". You will spent most of you time trying to find the right person to email, because most of the staff will just shove you off to someone else or telling you to just be grateful for the breadcrumbs of information or help they offer. On top of that, they hire "professors" like Cassie Smith for Anthropology who are NOT qualified to teach the subject, but will also hire department chairs like Dr. Sanchez to protect these "professors" even when they lack the basic knowledge to teach. Both of these staff members accused me of cheating without any sort of proof, but tried to tell me I should be "grateful" they gave me a grade that I earned. This was after I had to email the professor every SINGLE week to open the appropriate information and assignments. Yes, I had to remind my professor to unlock the weekly assignments with an email that she didn't respond to for two days prior. She was probably busy trying to make her lecture videos that didn't post until halfway through the week. It's sad that all this time she spent "preparing" for her class she couldn't run a spell check before posting anything, including feedback on papers. Cassie Smith is unprofessional and should never teach again. Dr. Sanchez should never be allowed to interact with students again. Telling a student who did not cheat to "be grateful the professor was willing to change the grade" is INSANE and shows how selfish this college is. They will do WHATEVER it takes to protect their own, even if it means lying about a student's academic dishonesty. This ENTIRE college runs on manipulation, scams, and lies. DO NOT waste your money here because they do not care about you. I have hired a lawyer to pursue legal action because of this semester with Austin Community College.
