JL assured me that their experienced installers could remove my granite without any damage to my backsplash. But not only that, their price was the best of all four well known Austin companies. In fact, since I was getting Taj Reale from Stratus I saw that several companies marked up the price for the same slab that they all were getting from the same slab yard. We did not realize until speaking with several remodelers that the remodeler takes your vision to fruition. Selecting home materials is largely up to the customer, which was acceptable to us. Transparently, there are a numerous decision points from picking out the tile and backslash to knobs and grout color. Naftali was our project manager and provided recommended vendors like ProSource, Tri-Supply and Ferguson Home who had representatives with expertise that help narrow our decision on many items. Speaking with folks like Kathleen at ProSource was extremely helpful. The Tri-Supply representatives, Jonathan and Alissa, were extremely helpful also. To do a remodel is not inexpensive. You pay the remodeler for construction work. In addition, you pay for all materials...large and small. Throughout the process, Naftali was in constant contact with us via phone. We received texts from him virtually every day. When we raised concerns, he did his best to resolve them in a timely manner. If we were to give constructive critique, Naftali or an English-speaking project manager should have been on site more to supervise an all-Spanish-speaking crew. In addition, about 70% of the job was done with excellence. The other 30% took some rework and more preventative precautions would have enhanced the process. While we found some exceptions, Naftali ensured those exceptions were corrected. In fact, he sent out two experts for a couple of updates. Watching our ideas come to life was incredible. Walking into our newly remodeled bathroom feels like we are walking into a model home. Overall, we were pleased with the remodel and look forward to using our newly renovated bathroom for many years to come.

All of the work is itemized and documented through an online tool, so budget, timeland change orders are clear. The entire project remained on schedule even with me throwing in a few things along the way, of which they were also so incredibly patient with. What an awesome crew! My wife and I purchased our…read morefirst house in March and decided to update the kitchen and replace all the old tile floors in the house before moving in. Matterhorn came recommended from my wife's boss, and that put them over the edge as far as hiring them. They demoed our old kitchen, removed soffits and outfitted the kitchen for new cabinets. They demoed our old tile floor and installed the new vinyl plank flooring. Then after our cabinets and counters were installed, they assisted us with our appliance outfitting. As with any home renovation project, there are snags and problems along the way, and they worked through them with ease. I've heard so many horror stories of people having nightmare experiences with contractors during home renovation projects, but I can safely say you won't with Matterhorn. Do your research and read the reviews - and hire Matterhorn for your next project. We will be having them back to do our bathrooms here in the next year or so.

Today I bought a knife and this wonderful brownie bowl pan. It turns your brownies into a bowl. I've already used it once and I filled the bowl with vanilla ice cream and coconut shavings.
