I hate this so much that I've bought my last two cars from Carvana simply because I wouldn't have to speak to anyone. I find the stereotypical car-buying experience (new and, especially, used) to be unnecessarily stressful and taxing. Today, this has changed. When I found a slightly better deal locally than I did on Carvana, I took the plunge. From the beginning, Angela was super helpful and responsive. She didn't insist on talking on the phone and was happy to text details, which is infinitely more manageable during the workweek. When it came time to make the trek to Austin e Autos, Angela let me know that she would be off that day and handed off the deal to Isaac. Isaac is the best. Isaac put us through the paces of letting us test drive, then talking numbers. At no point did the numbers they advertised ever change. I came in with pre-approval through USAA, and they did not push me toward in-house financing. This has never happened to me before. They usually push that really hard. Once the numbers were agreed upon, we were handed over to Stephanie for the paper signing. This was equally painless, and there was no push to buy extended warranties, wheel insurance, GAP, etc, etc, etc. The numbers we discussed with Isaac were the exact numbers we signed off on with Stephanie. Incredibly painless, transparent, and honest process. My wife loves her car, and I am very impressed by the buying experience. If you're in the market for a used EV, look here first. All the stars. Thank you, Isaac, Angela, and Stephanie!

The body was in excellent condition in spite of its 18 year age. Even the Michelin tires 225 ZR-17 were either new or almost new with low miles on them. They were in excellent condition and with the highest speed rating available. This is a huge selling point for me. Go price these tires today and you will see they are very expensive and of great quality and safety. The leather interior was in exceptional condition as well. The engine had good power and the automatic transmission shifted smoothly as well. The automatic power top was not working at the time and this was not a critical item for me. I will fix it in due time. The ride was not as smooth as it could be and so I will replace the shocks and/or struts when time and money permits. This is my 3 used car purchase from Hani in over 20 years. He is an avid car enthusiast as I am. He always buys special and or unique cars e.g. some with immaculate leather interiors, all the repairs records and/or with OEM books, new or almost new matching tires, very fast cars with Turbos or superchargers, sporty, luxury, or both. Any used car we buy will always need additional work, maintenance, parts, etc. But, in my experience with Hani's cars, he has been very successful in acquiring cars with a lot of potential. And, his prices have always been extremely competitive and more than fair and reasonable. When buying used cars, it is always "caveat emptor" (Let the Buyer beware). That is Latin and legal terminology used when purchasing used homes and/or cars, etc. It is our job as Buyers to examine the products and to decide whether or not we are willing to accept the flaws and or issues along with its great selling points as well of any used property we purchase without any warranties whatsoever.

My service advisor Rafael Montalvo was on point with everything I needed done to the vehicle. The Technician that was putting in the covers on my seat and mat on the floor Kevin greeted me. As both Rafael and Kevin absolutely went on and beyond for me. I asked the technician a few questions before he took my car to get work on he answered my questions but also he assured me that he will take care of my car like his own and I really like that response. Overall I am satisfied with my service, and I highly recommend my fellow friends, workers and family in the Austin area to come here. Thank You Toyota of North Austin, Thank You Rafael Montalvo and Thank You Technician Kevin.

(This review applies to the service department specifically. I didn't buy my car here.)…read more When you worry about a car mechanic trying to exploit you, this place is exactly the sort of place you're worried about. Their business model is to look for all the easiest maintenance tasks they can extract money for doing, make no attempt to solve the real problem, and then call you and make the minor maintenance tasks seem more important than they are. If your problem happens to be really simple, you can sometimes get your car fixed here, but that's lucky for you if so and you're going to be paying a huge amount whether they fix your car or not. My car wouldn't start and I had it towed here because it was the most obvious place I could think of to get service. This was a mistake. They did not fix the problem at all -- seemingly there is a problem that drains the battery and they just changed the battery without fixing that, which the AAA guy observed after 3 minutes of checking -- and I paid $2,200 in repairs just for my car to have the same exact problem 2 weeks later. Don't be foolish like me. There are plenty of honest mechanics in Austin. Don't go here.
