I recently came in for service for my Toyota Camry and I would like to say that I had a wonderful service, but also straight forward. My service advisor Rafael Montalvo was on point with everything I needed done to the vehicle. The Technician that was putting in the covers on my seat and mat on the floor Kevin greeted me. As both Rafael and Kevin absolutely went on and beyond for me. I asked the technician a few questions before he took my car to get work on he answered my questions but also he assured me that he will take care of my car like his own and I really like that response. June 6th i brought my 2026 Toyota Crown in for repair of my pedestrian protection system. As on August 5th my car is still waiting on a part before my collision repair is completed. I was originally given an estimate of July 31st for my repairs to be completed. I have recently been told now that my car will not be finished for repair until August 31st. The communication regarding the status of my car and the urgency to find this part is has great room for improvement. I don't know if the issue is the dealership or manufacturer I know I am beyond frustrated and ready to have my car back. Today i have escalated my concerns. Not telling us we need $10,000 worth of service!! Literally said to get power steering done when we had it done 4 months ago. Then looked at everything else they recommended due to "leaks" There are no leaks. Nothing on the garage floor, shocks? No bouncing of the vehicle, shaking when turning, etc. forgot why I stopped going. Today reminded me why. Oh and did I mention I was there for 7 hours for an alignment and transmission flush. Here I am 10 years later, in search of a vehicle. This time around my experience was frustrating and disappointing due to the lack of consistency and transparency from the sales team. I had multiple people contacting me, which created unnecessary confusion and constant back-and-forth. As a customer, my time is valuable, and I did not appreciate receiving conflicting information from different employees. Mike, who described himself as one of the best salesmen there, told me I was his number one priority. However, he also claimed that 3 to 5 other customers were interested in the exact same vehicle and wanted to come see it. Meanwhile, John told me the vehicle had just arrived on the lot, while Mike was giving me a completely different story about how many people were already lined up for it. The information simply didn't add up, and it felt more like a sales tactic than honest communication. What made the experience even more frustrating was the constant pressure to come into the dealership immediately. I repeatedly explained that I was not going to walk into a dealership and sign anything before obtaining insurance quotes and reviewing my overall costs. That's a responsible part of the car-buying process, yet I felt like my concerns were being ignored in favor of pushing me into the showroom. A vehicle purchase is a major financial decision. Customers deserve honest, consistent information and respect for their time, not pressure tactics and conflicting stories. Highly disappointed. read more

Worst experience I've ever had with a dealership. Was told the specific vehicle I wanted to purchase was available & on the lot. THEY set the time for me to come in. And when I got there I was passed off to a salesman who told me that car has been sold & that it was MY fault for waiting so long to come in. Drove over two hours round trip and not one person even attempted to apologize or make things right. They took no responsibility for their mistake but instead tried to make it seem like it was my fault for coming in at the time that was set by them. Disrespectful and untrustworthy. read more

(This review applies to the service department specifically. I didn't buy my car here.) When you worry about a car mechanic trying to exploit you, this place is exactly the sort of place you're worried about. Their business model is to look for all the easiest maintenance tasks they can extract money for doing, make no attempt to solve the real problem, and then call you and make the minor maintenance tasks seem more important than they are. If your problem happens to be really simple, you can sometimes get your car fixed here, but that's lucky for you if so and you're going to be paying a huge amount whether they fix your car or not. My car wouldn't start and I had it towed here because it was the most obvious place I could think of to get service. This was a mistake. They did not fix the problem at all -- seemingly there is a problem that drains the battery and they just changed the battery without fixing that, which the AAA guy observed after 3 minutes of checking -- and I paid $2,200 in repairs just for my car to have the same exact problem 2 weeks later. Don't be foolish like me. There are plenty of honest mechanics in Austin. Don't go here. read more

I had a really disappointing experience with a blue Toyota Tacoma listed for $26,500. I messaged them on Facebook Marketplace, and the salesperson suggested $20,000 might be reasonable. So, I drove in that same day after they told me to come meet them at the dealership. When I got there I immediately noticed a dent near the front bumper and headlight--none of that damage was shown in the listing photos. When we sat down to talk numbers, I brought up the $20,000 mention again. Suddenly, they claimed the truck was actually listed at $29,000, and the lowest they'd go was $27,000. I felt completely misled--after being told $20,000 sounded reasonable, I expected maybe $21,000 or $22,000, but they didn't even budge below $27,000. The lack of transparency, both in the price and the hidden damage, made this a frustrating and untrustworthy experience. I wasted two hours of driving for this, and the lack of transparency was a huge disappointment. I won't be trusting this dealership again. read more

I've never been more heartbroken or frustrated over a major purchase. I bought two top-of-the-line Avalon Limited cars from North Austin Toyota and even paid extra for the longest extended warranties on both. I believed I was buying peace of mind. I was wrong. When a rock cracked my windshield, I went through my insurance and paid out of pocket to have it replaced by Toyota. What I got was a windshield with a deep scratch right in front of my eyes. They replaced it--but during that repair, they left a 2.5" deep scratch on the hood of my car. I pointed it out, expecting a professional response. Instead, they brushed it off like it didn't matter. Then came the alignment disaster. I asked them to align just the front-left tire. Somehow, they managed to throw all four wheels completely out of alignment. I had to go to an independent shop, where they showed me how badly everything had been messed up. Even after I dropped a legal claim out of sympathy for their COVID struggles, they still refused to honor the extended warranty I paid for. Now, they won't take my service calls--they literally blocked my number. I've never dealt with a company so dismissive, careless, and unethical. After spending tens of thousands of dollars and trying to be understanding, I was treated like I didn't matter. It hurts. Please think twice before trusting this dealership. ----------------------------------------- Update: Service agent, Jared, has called me and assured good representation from North Austin Toyota. The only thing worse was the lack of communication. No update on the delay, no remorse, and complete acceptance of wasting my time as I waited for over 6 hours. After weeks of waiting, the dealership finally got the Sienna in. Their used car manager called me personally and laid on the guilt trip to get me to come take a look. Honestly, I had already moved on and was exploring better options elsewhere--but since it was the lowest advertised price I'd seen, I figured a quick look wouldn't hurt. When I arrived, the manager promptly passed me off to another salesperson--strike one. We went to see the van, and at first glance, it looked promising. The exterior was in decent shape, and the front and middle row leather seats were okay. But the moment they opened the rear, it became crystal clear this van had lived a hard, possibly criminal life. It looked like it had either been used for hauling freight or was the battleground for a meth-addicted raccoon and a feral possum. The plastic in the back was gouged, the second-row seat backs were torn and badly stained--it was a wreck. I almost walked right then. But part of me thought maybe, maybe with some serious work, it could be salvaged. Still, for the condition it was in, the price felt high. What followed was a relentless pressure campaign from both the manager and salesperson. I was exhausted. My wife was exhausted. Against my better judgment, I caved and agreed to the deal. Big mistake. Since the purchase, it's been one headache after another. I keep discovering issues that their "mechanics" clearly overlooked--or just ignored. There's also a persistent musty smell in the cabin that no amount of cleaning or deodorizing has fixed. Today was the final straw. I had requested all-weather mats, and the salesman assured me they'd be ordered. When they finally arrived, they were for the wrong vehicle. I pointed it out, and he shrugged it off saying, "I guess the parts department needed the VIN"--which he had. It's just more proof of their careless, corner-cutting approach to everything. And let's not forget the trade-in fiasco. I had to fight tooth and nail just to get a remotely fair value for my car. I told them they could easily sell it for $18K. I recently ran into the new owner--they paid $22K. So yes, the dealership absolutely overcharges. At this point, I'm fully aware that I got taken advantage of. This dealership had multiple chances to do the right thing, and they failed at every turn. I blame myself for not walking away when I should have--but I won't make that mistake again. I took my 2024 Toyota Crown in because the wireless charger in the car would only charge the phone for the first 30 seconds when placed in the charging cradle. I explained that I have tried three different newer high end phones (one mine and the others were friends phones) and they all did the same thing. I use wireless chargers at my home and office and never have an issue with my QI capable phone. I was trying to get it done while my car is still under the manufactures warranty. They said that they didn't find an issue with it also they didn't mention this to me and just took me to the cashier to check out. read more

Wow. I called the parts department yesterday hoping to purchase spark plugs, only for them to try to upsell me to 180% of the price listed on their own website. After I told them I would just order online instead, they suddenly offered to "lower" the price to 150% of the online listing. The call ended, I placed an online pickup order, and--funny enough--I received an email less than an hour later saying the parts were ready. Meaning the exact parts they tried to upsell me on were the same ones they ended up bagging up for my pickup. The next day, I tried to navigate to the parts center since the main Toyota building is under renovation and they temporarily relocated the parts department. I called the parts center phone number for clarification on how to get there. They left me on hold for over 10 minutes. So then I just called the main number, explained the situation, and the receptionist completely ignored that I was asking for verbal directions. She hung up the phone and transferred me back to parts. Once I finally reached someone and got directions, I walked into the building to find absolutely zero customers and three employees sitting at the front desk--meaning they had put me on hold for no reason other than not wanting to pick up the call. read more

Zero stars! Bought a 2019 RAV4 on March 31,2026. Salesman Dylan filled car with gas and brought back to dealership. We drove the car a couple of days doing rideshare and went to fill it up with gas and the gas door wouldn't pop open with the release inside. Took it back and Dylan looked at it and said " Oh you just push on the back of the door and it will open. I looked at it and ALL of the connecting linkage had been removed. I told Dylan that was unacceptable and his response was " well it's a used car you can't expect it to be perfect" I told him maybe not perfect, but the gas tank should be able to lock and not have the locking mechanism removed! He gave me some story about the parts being on back order and didn't know when it could be fixed. I called a mechanic friend who checked another Toyota dealer who said they had one of the parts on hand and could get the other next day. I told Dylan and suddenly they had some spare parts in the shop so fixed the door. (Just the beginning folks) A couple of days later the "check engine" light came on so we took it in again and they said it was the battery and claimed to have replaced it. (Only had the car a week). Week later took the car 3 hrs away to Dallas and on return (about 2 hrs from home) "check engine" light came on again sand temp guage showed engine overheating. Contacted Dylan and told him the issue and asked for the dealer to tow in and fix since we only had the car 2 weeks. After much discussion and resistance Dylan and sales manager Edgar agreed to pay for the tow and I had to make the arrangements. Tow company required cash on arrival and dealer didn't have cash so I paid and was told by Dylan and Edgar I would be paid back. Car was towed and water pump was replaced under the 30 day warranty. two weeks passed and I hadn't received the $877.50 tow fee and Registration sticker hadn't been received. I started calling the dealer about both and got a voice answering system that continually looped from answering to asking what department I wanted about 10ish times and would then hang up. Played this game for a couple of weeks occasionally getting through to Kara (the receptionist and ONLY helpful employee at the whole dealership) and finally got tbe $877.50 a month after the towing but still no Registration sticker. Dylan and finance mgr had said sticker should be arriving to me in 2-4 weeks. At the 4 week mark Kara told me it would normally be 4-6 weeks. Continued to call and get the merry go round voicemail. Called DMV on May 26,2026 who said could be 6-8 weeks. It's now 7.5 weeks and DMV has no record of paperwork from the dealer to issue sticker. Went to tbe dealer after playing phone roulette again for a couple of hours and spoke with Kara in person. She referred me to Rafe in finance and Edgar(again) whom I couldn't find in the building after asking another employee in used car sales ( Kara is in new sales). Waited 30 minutes and went back to Kara who said she would send ANOTHER email to Edgar, Rafe and title dept. Stay tuned, if/when I receive Registration sticker I will let you know. Right now car can't be used for Lyft until sticker arrives and only 6 more days for Uber till it is cancelled for not having a sticker. Lyft took sales receipt in lieu of sticker for 30 days and Uber took it for 60 days. This has been explained to Toyota of North Austin for 30 days and NO ONE seems to care. read more

I matched his attitude so it was a very frustrating process... I was already in a pissy mood b/c Toyota of Cedar Park lied about having my XSE in stock so I was very fortunate the XSE was available at Toyota North Austin. The attitude and the passive aggressive comments dealing with my trade In made it seem like I was being unreasonable and unfair when all I wanted was to give me middle ground offer of KBB. It was like pulling teeth for my sales dude to go back to management to tell them my wants. They included my sales tax savings of my trade and incorporated it my offer ... Hindsight I should of walked, but I knowingly ate the cost bc I was annoyed with the Cedar park dealership wasting my time and the bickering with the management and my sales guy coming to an agreement with my trade. I just wanted it to be over and done with... They essentially got my trade at a steal, but I guess since I left with my desired car, & Im back in with my beloved Toyota Brand im content with the bs I went through to get it. I will stand true to never recommending a single friend or colleague to either locations. I will still forward friends to make a drive to Houston to deal with my go to sales man for Toyota. I purchased my Car on a Thursday with an "I owe you". A simple install for wheel locks. I made an appt via phone call to come in on a weekend and have them installed. Easy right?! Right, my ass...wait in line for 5 min, and learn they dont do "I owe you's" or any sort of promises that are made by Sales team... If this is a policy, then how was I able to make the appt? I let Sales know this happened, and the search for wheel locks took literally 2 hrs after every thing said and done... Terrible customer service. Brought in vehicle for a routine check. Kept the car all day and didn't call until the end of the day to say we needed a tire replaced. Made us come back the next day to get that done and sat in the waiting room with three kids for almost three hours to get a tire put on. Finally got fed up and demanded to leave and was told they wouldn't bring the car. Second terrible experience here. Don't recommend coming. Worth the drive to go to another dealership. read more

Chosen this place because my 2011 Toyota Camry XLE was totalled out in an accident, wish I hadn't. First I called and made an appointment to come in and see a salesman (Can't remember his name) in a Saturday, when I arrived he informed me that Yousef would be starting the process (I guess I wasn't someone he thought would buy). So I go into the guys office and tell him what I m looking for, he is very fast and shows me or asks me rather how I feel about BMW's, I don't feel anything about them I wanted a Toyota, anyways so we test drive the bmw and he stated to me that the brakes are bad but they have ordered new ones and will replace them after I buy, I say no thanks and ask to test drive a 2020 Jetta SEL I happened to see, fortunately it was available, there was only 1 other option he came up with for available vehicles, we go through all the paperwork and I drive it off the lot, fast forward a week later and the thing wouldn't start, turns out there was a leak in the canister purge valve and I found out it had a cheap Walmart battery in it, these cars need an AMG non lead acid battery to work properly, I go to get it checked out while bringing my findings of the issue, I sit in the lobby for 5 hours just to be told by the sales manager, who looked like a recovering meth addict that is was the canister purge valve, which I already brought to their attention when I first came back in, was told part ordered and come back early the following Saturday to get it done. I did, turns out the sales manager was promoted to a Kia dealership and told me " I don't work here anymore, they'll take care of it, long story short, they couldn't get it done that day, had no loaner cars, rented a turo, was told no way could get done till the following week, 4:30 same day the sales guy calls and says he pushed the mechanics and it's done, great but I rented a car till Wednesday, go down pick it up and a mile down the road the engine light and EPC light come on, turns out they did not connect the air intake shaft all the way, took to Don Hewlettt VW, did full diagnostic, the front sensor needed to be recalibrated, back brakes were almost worn and right door latch needed to be replaced, dropped 1200 to get work done, now working to get the 2k warranty I purchased with the loan to reimburse me, this place is terrible, please go to a real dealership. read more

I came in at 6am for oil change on a Monday. There was absolutely no customers when I arrived. Sat in the lobby for 3 and a half hours. Very disappointed. I mean.. how long does it take for an oil change? Maybe next time I'll just go to the 5 Minute Oil Change. This is ridiculous. They need to get it together. Way too slow on service. Do not go to this Toyota Dealer. I don't know how they have the license to sell Toyotas. I was shopping around for a car and went to a few place around Austin. They are the only ones that had my particular car in stock ( I will omit this to stay anonymous) ... The sells guy was annoying... pushy as hell and wouldnt budge on added features. He told me they were already on the car ... toyota connect is a service ... you can take that off. I dont care if you need to make more money I just want a car. They had me waiting for hours before I even got to see finance ... Finally, I'm able to get the purchase order and everything I go to my bank to get it approved and they send over the instructions but they're not accepting the bank now even though I'm preapproved already put money down as well and now it seems like they are trying to force me into financing with them Dont come here go somewhere else read more

We purchased a used vehicle cash on November 23, 2024. We never received the license plates or title. On January 19, 2025 the vehicle was in an accident and was deemed a total loss. The insurance has been ready to settle and pay us for the vehicle and for 2 weeks we've been calling the dealership because the title was never transferred. Finally spoke with a finance manager this past Friday and was informed that they had to file for a duplicate title because someone there either lost the title or they never had it to begin with. So now we have to wait to be paid by the insurance because the dealership didn't do their job. We will have to wait for them to receive the duplicate title and then wait again for the title to be transferred to us. Meanwhile we are without a vehicle. It's the 1st and last time we ever do business here. Buyers beware. read more
