Hands down absolute worst mani/pedi I've ever had. My fingernails were uneven with a weird dip in the middle, the French mani color yellowed after just a few days, they began lifting after 4 days. "Massage" was one arm only - I guess she was tired. Pedi did not address calluses even after I asked and the gel peeled off after less than a week. read more

Finally one of the male workers said "I don't do men, a lady will be with you in a moment" . My concern is if they choose who they want to help based on personal likes and dislikes, whose to say they won't ignore refuse anyone, male or female? I went a couple times over the summer and got a normal experience for a gel manicure. I went again earlier this week and had what i can only describe as the worst manicure experience I've ever had. IVon (I believe was her name) didn't just buff the top of my nails but literally filed them down, thinning/weakening them in half. She also files my nails really short without asking what shape/length I wanted. Cleaning cuticules can be a bit uncomfortable but this was so painful I had to pull my hands from her repeatedly. After finishing the polish she massaged the tip of my fingers even though I kept telling her I needed to go. Not only was I cut during my manicure, my toes were "trimmed" via nail file, resulting in uneven non-shaped toe nails, also not even fully/evenly painted, but also within 2 days I had 2 nails chip and the gel chipped and peeled off completely, also the broken nail I specifically went in to get fixed, broke completely within 4 days. Very nice people but not high quality, nor even decent quality work at all. I called after my gel polish peeled to address the aforementioned complaints (since I didn't want to Karen them at the time) but no call back from their manager. Make sure to check the quality of your pedicure before you walk out too. A waste of $100+ and also the cost and time of going elsewhere to get this disaster fixed. Maybe the rest of the staff will care for their clients, but avoid "Lynn" at all costs. I requested a Deluxe pedicure which obviously irritated her that I didn't opt for a more expensive treatment. She was rough, rude, didn't ask any questions about how I'd like my nails trimmed, and completed the pedi in 20 minutes. If she wasn't so rude, it would have almost been comical. When finished she packed up her cart and walked away without a word. I've never been treated so rudely at any salon in the many years I've been having my nails done. I won't be back. read more

The lady who waxed my eyebrows was using the same gloves that she was using to do someone's pedicure... EWWWW!!! I just noticed it after she waxed my eyebrows and went back to finish someone's pedicure! PLEASE CHANGE GLOVES. I get that it's Covid, but this is the worst mani pedi I have ever gotten. Does this look like a $122 service? I felt bad for the girls so I paid, but now that I see it close up, it's awful. They also rushed me out the door, and one of them actually went into my wallet to get my credit card because they were closing and my nails were not done yet (I was there for almost two hours). I've been using this nail spa for a few years and always considered it pretty good, but pricey. A few months ago I got my usual gel mani-pedi, and three days later, the polish peeled off in one sheet from my index finger. That was not a good value for a gel manicure. Then, today, I had a regular mani, pedi. The polish I was told to choose from was disgusting looking. When the lady finished, she told me not to wear my shoes yet. Then she told me not to touch my nails hard. By the time I got home, every nail was ruined. It looked horrible. I had to remove that sticky, old polish that she used within 10 minutes of arriving home. For this I paid $36 plus a 20%tip. I won't return. read more

I went here on a Sunday, and they had horrible service. I was grateful to get in last minute, though I wish they would have just told me they were busy. I waited for an hour in a chair to get a basic pedicure. the beginning was good and the people were kind. When getting my nails done the technician never waited to let a layer dry before lathering another on, and they bubbled up. They never actually got to dry because of this, and I left the place and they were almost immediately ruined. If you go at a time when they have no other customers, maybe you have a chance at some good nails. I have watched this place go down hill which is unfortunate because I used to really like it. I requested the deluxe pedicure which includes a masque that is placed under hot towels and my person used the same lotion to massage me instead of the masque. My person also left me to go tend to another individual as well as my massage and hot stone lasted less than 3 mins in total. I would not recommend this place and I will not go back. I've given this place a second chance today - and Really sorry I did. My shellac manicure by Henry took 1 hr 15 min, and there was no wait! At the end he looked at it, and asked his co-worker what to do bc the top coat was bubbling and really thick. I had to leave due to time, and they said I could come back when convenient. I have an 8 month old, so that was laughable. I asked to pay when the service was complete, and said I wasn't paying full price. He insisted I still pay full price. I'm pretty flexible and understanding, but when you provide sub par service and inconvenience a customer you shouldn't charge full price. I highly suggest going to one of the other 5,000 nail salons in Austin! read more

They say they're open at 9 am, but they were not, even at 9:30 am, so don't trust their morning hours.

All I'll say is that I've left this place bleeding or disappointed on serval occasions (at least 5). Once in awhile, they're pretty good -- but nothing makes up for the bad days. Friends don't let friends try new nail salons before a big event! I should have known better. One of my bridesmaids, who rarely gets her nails done (she's one of those talented gals who can do both hands without it looking like the less dominate hand was done by a nearsighted child), swore that she knew the best place and wanted to treat me to a manicure a few days before my wedding. Super sweet, but how did I not see the red flags billowing in every direction?! Perhaps I was just wanting to be nice, but I obliged. I already had my main place that I frequented for nails, but I obliged. With me being this far in the wedding planning process, I'd learned not to fight everything and let people help. I've never done "nail art" before, but had a specific style in mind for the wedding. My friend took a photo in prior to our appointment and they said they could do it. As we pull up, two men were standing at the front door waiving cigarette smoke out of their faces while following us in. Yippee. They're going to take care of us - just want I had in mind - someone who sucked down a cigarette in the front of their own business, may or may not have washed their hands before tending to me, and now smells glorious. And when I say glorious, I mean rotten. It seemed very dirty in there. Towels tossed around, poor organization, so on. It didn't give me an easy feeling. The massage chairs we mediocre and out of date. After mindlessly pressing a few buttons on the chair remote, I was met with what felt more like getting an unwelcomed, repetitive tap on the ass. The back massage function jammed into the small of my back. Moments later, I just chose to turn it off. The design they said they could do left the tech dumbfounded on more than one occasion and I felt like he was rushing to close the salon on time rather than get my nails right. A and that's exactly what the problem was. The nails were jacked two days later. My nails were peeling and the polish was curling. Did I mention my wedding was in a few days? Long story short, I had to go elsewhere to doctor the nails up before the big day. It was certainly one less thing I needed to stress about. I wouldn't recommend Oasis to anyone. Not happy. I went in for a gel pedicure, hoping to relax and left pissed off. The lady started off by turning on the water in the spa tub and asked me to put my feet in. The water turned extremely hot all of a sudden and I told her it was too hot. When I told her she then turned the temperature to cold. When I told her it was cold she just laughed and so I had to soak my feet in cold water. Usually some sort of soap is placed into the water but she didn't add anything to the water. After she started applying the gel polish, I noticed that on some of my toes the polish was on my cuticles. Usually if the polish does that the person will either use their fingernail or a cuticle stick to clean it up. I asked her if she could fix it and she yelled at me. "I'll fix it!" She said. I only mentioned it because I didn't want it to harden with the in UV light and then it would be difficult to get off. At the very end she took a file and started filing my cuticles. It still looks messy. Plus the rest of my polish isn't great. She missed parts of my nails with the polish and other areas look lumpy. I'm not happy at all. read more

AVOID AT ALL COSTS! DOESN'T EVEN DESERVE 1 STAR! I went in to treat myself to a mani/pedi. I was WAY over done on the callous removal, I left with blood all over my shoes! Of course, I panicked and drove home to clean it myself. I called but I don't know the person I spoke to understood how serious the matter was. I emailed the manager and, of course, no reply. So the next day I went by to show them what happened and request a refund. After several minutes of arguing about whether or not I should get a refund or a gift card to come back (I WILL NEVER), they reluctantly returned my money, but ONLY for the pedicure not for my whole treatment which is just bad customer service. In addition, when the lady was doing my nails she answered the phone. Someone wanted to make an appointment. The lady asked for her name and phone number and the person on the phone gave it. But she NEVER STOPPED DOING MY NAILS. She just pretended to add the appointment to the calendar and hung up. Bleeding at nail salons is quite concerning and this place did not seem shocked at all. And they said they didn't observe any bleeding on my foot - I just don't see how that is possible. I can barely walk and of course I got the pedi for an event coming up that involves a lot of walking... not going to be easy now. read more

I feel really bad for everyone that posted negative reviews about this salon because I went this afternoon and I loved it! I got nude glittery shellac and it was done perfectly. ($35 FYI) Tom did my nails, he was really friendly and knowledgable. I nicked my finger trimming my cuticles at home and he made it look soooo much better, you can barely tell where it is! The salon itself was really clean, my utensils were straight out of a sterilized package that I saw him open. So again, I don't know what these negative reviews are all about.
